| This feels like a '90s version of Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu, a really low budget one. The MC can't make up his mind as to whether he's a player or the dev and whether he's gonna roleplay or not as his character, only good thing was SOME of the interactions between Aku and him. Gonna give it another episode or till he starts Rimuruing. |

| Watching this only because MC looks like a mafia boss, I wish he acted more like the one too. It's good to see that he was summoned as Demon Lord and not some generic hero but the abundance of colourful girls around him in the opening is still disturbing. |

| I frown at recent installments of Persona and Trails of Cold Steel that introduce harem-like elements in the story. We need more JRPGs like the past Lunar series, where there are multiple romantic pairings in the party other than for the protagonist and main heroine. |

| So, that's another isekai show with an OP MC, the sort of dream for every gamer in fact lol (back to when I used to play World of Warcraft, I would have loved being transfered as my Warlock in Azeroth). I need to watch more of this show to have a complete opinion, but for now it feels ok. |

| Let's see. The bar is always set low when it comes to a new isekai, but so far: No slavery. No forced controversy in the first episode to pull people in. MC seems like a nice guy and isn't wallowing or brooding. Doesn't feel trashy. I'd say that's a winner, despite all the usual isekai tropes. |

| A whole genre is so oversaturated that authors don't even bother to build a proper story anymore, this story is basically had the main character screaming at the camera "it's iskeai, you know what it is about!" and straight away reference other stories. |

| Why did they have to totally change the character designs for most of them from the manga and novels? Feels jarring when it's so different from what I was used to as a manga reader, since several characters are nearly unrecognizable. Oh well, this is just another time-waster in the end. |

| This was a mess. The writing was all over the place, and there are countless contradictions. The worst part is that the main VA was clearly given bad direction. On the bright side the animation was up to par in most places, and having an adult MC is an interesting twist. Aku is kind of adorable as well, though having someone with her appearances as a shitmonger is completely unrealistic. Her being physically disabled is a point of freshness as well (there is actually a genuine reason the heroine is helpless). The series has a lot of room to grow, but whether it actually does remains to be seen. |
