| hi hi hi anime fans! we all have an anime or two that we just hated and stuck out as a least favorite. BUT i wanna challenge you to think about an anime you thought was absolutely terrible and then name one good/the best quality it had. ONLY RULE: it has to be GENUINELY POSITIVE rather than a backhand criticism of it (i know how sarcastic some of you are), so pls nothing like "writing was so shit that i guess that was funny" or "finally being done with it and never having to watch it again," stuff like that. good luck and stay positive about your hate! |
| I really disliked the writing in Sword Art Online season 1 and some portions of season 2 and 3, but there are still a couple of positive things I'm willing to say about it. The animation is SAO is some of the best that I've ever seen and as the seasons passed on, the productions levels have increased a lot. Taking a look back at the first season to Alicization shows great amounts of improvement. Another positive thing that I'm willing to say about it is its soundtrack. Cmon, it's Yuki Kajiura, did you really expect it to be bad? I don't think so |

| There was this one scene in the second half of Darling in the FranXX where Zero Two is in her happy place piloting the robot with her darling and they're being all lovey dovey. Then Klaxosaur princess shows up, drags Zero Two out of the robot using her tail, tosses her out like a sack of garbage then proceeds to get into the robot herself and kiss Hiro. Lololo SO fucking satisfying. Especially considering that retarded ending. Second scene is probably the one where Goro punches Hiro in the face during one of the last episodes. Not quite as funny as the first one but it's simple and satisfying. I recommend replaying it over and over to get the maximum effect. |

| Beyond the Boundary: Reason I hated it was because of the bad characters and boring story But I really liked the visuals. It had great animation and some cool shots, also Mirai Kuriyama is super cute. |

| My least favourite anime would have to be either Captain Earth or Scrap Diary. Captain Earth at least has a pretty dark skinned girl. I don't think there's anything good that can be said about Scrap Diary. I guess it might work as an effective weapon against someone with epilepsy. |

| It's not the worst I have watched but its the only one I can think of redeemable qualities for. Dance with Devils, a pretty boring bland anime that I probably would have given a 4/10 but since I actually enjoyed the music (music meaning songs in the anime sung by the characters, not just op and ed) in it and considering I'm a bit lenient towards musical sort of anime since I for some reason absolutely adore the concept, I gave it a 5/10. |

| Homura Akemi. Such a beautifully iconic character, an embodiment of the concept of intentions unfulfilled, of promises unrealized, of the desire to go back and get things right. Yet ironically I have major beef with the show she's from, because I hate how they treated her. |

| Besides openings and endings, i'll say the whole episode 6 of Kekkai Sensen. It was heartwarming, funny, endearing and i get invested in the characters involved. Also it explored the realtionship between humans and the other creatures that cohabit New York, which i think it should be the main theme of the show, in the first episodes at least, instead of glossing over it so much. |

| Re:Visions had Milo, that hot white hair woman and the chinese girl, those 3 are hot. And at least people died in that anime, so it kept a scary atmosphere. |

| Parasyte has a good theme of balance between species and ecology ... that's it. The rest goes to the trash can. |
| Re: zero has a nice ending song. Berserk 2016 and 2017 has some nice music and funny chestnut puck scenes. Railgun/Index has an interesting concept. |
| Asterisk War's Julis has a cool design. And well, that's about it. The series does nothing else right. Though I don't really hate the show, think it's trite garbage, but not particularly offensive in anyway. I genuinely hate Shitgatsu. It has some nice visuals. I remember the scene in the finale with them playing in the sky (or something like that) being especially pretty. |

| Attack on Titan has a wonderful soundtrack and beautiful animation. Hearing Erwin shout "SASAGEYO!" makes me happy. Boruto has some very well animated fights, Momoshiki vs Naruto and Sasuke in particular was very good. |

| Hand Shakers, in my opinion, has godlike ost, i absolutely love them all, i even listen to them from time to time on youtube. | Guilty Crown was superbly animated and had a great OST Requiem for the Phantom has an awesome opening featuring Kokia's "Karma" as well as several interesting action sequences. Gantz has....uh give me a minute...Gantz who seems to hate the cast even more than I did. |

| Since I can not decide: Midori: sorry, I can´t think of anything. Maybe that is not popular. Fairy Tail: The first 3 arcs are nice, and there is some good designs and ideas. |

| MP100 did it's character relationships really well. Especially Mob/Ritsu in the first season. Great Teacher Onizuka had a lot of potential. I'm not sure if that is more of an underhanded compliment though... I mean, I really liked the start and up to the end of the arc with the first arc with Tomoko I enjoyed it enough. Pop Team Epic had some really creative moments. I especially loved the flip-book 'animation' segment. I don't really 'hate' any of those though. Maybe GTO. |

| Ulysses - Jone of Arc chara (I liked her personality change 180 degrees) Samurai Gun (the prostitutes scenes) Arkana Famiglia (Mondo and Jolly's backstory) even if it only consisted of one scene. |

| I hated with a passion Absolute Duo (it's bad, like really REALLY bad in very sense of the word) but the Opening is catchy, don't know if it's sad when a hideous anime has a good opening. |
| I liked Asuka from the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise, and Rem from Re:Zero. Both suffer from terrible MC's that ruin the show for me. |
I mean Madoka Magica shit as fuck but I at least in retrospect find Kyubey funny because he fucks everyone over  But can't say as a character that they are any interesting or funny on screen like the superior Murmur |

| As much as I hate Fairy Tail, I'll concede. The soundtracks are awesome, and I still actively listen to it whenever a song happens to show up. Most of the character designs are nice too, especially Lucy since they give her a variety of outfits and they look great |
| Although I hate Shigatsu, I'll always be ready to praise it's sound and visuals. They were great, can't deny that. Kashimashi, as terrible as it was, did make me laugh with a couple of well played jokes, and the VAs were good. |

Hall of infamy: Pupa - worst show ever, fails at every level, no redeeming value whatsoever Conception - worst full length show Eh, I got nothing, absolutely nothing good to say about these. Terrible concepts (hey, look, a bad pun, I guess that's somewhat positive) executed poorly. Mayoiga - worst full length show I've ever completed Beginning looked interesting, and it was interesting to see how bad it could get. Clockwork Planet - the show I regret completing the most The scene when tsundere finally gets to beat the cr*p out of the MC was oh so satisfying. I'm not into tsundere, just happy the MC finally got to suffer. |
