| Thrown right into middle of action, that's how I like my anime seasons starting! <3 Levi contnues being super awesome, and there were SO MANY AMAZING SHOTS, the animation was dynamic and smooth as well, totally loved it. The scene were titans behind Erwin light up, or with Levi going for Reiner's had within a mere second were so exciting to watch, the hype is real!  Op and ed are fine for now, maybe they'll grow on me. It kinda kills me that every Linked Horizon's op sounds like another remix of Guren no Yumiya, even with the lyrics, but oookay xD And now I've got this, GoT, AND FREAKING AVENGERS all at the same time, is this heaven or what?! |

| Damn Reiner still didn't die from that attack. Still, that was a good episode. And a damn good cliffhanger too. |

| The opening is very similar to the first three again, not great but much better than the last opening. Ending is chill as usual. Didn't think they would get straight to Shiganshina like this without trouble and the sealing of the first gate went without any trouble. But Armin and Erwin are smart enough to know what to do, that one guy who found Reiner's hideout though should've been smart enough to instantly gain some distance before warning the others, he paid with his life. Dat Levi though, daaaaaaaamn that was badass. Unfortunately Reiner won't go down that easily. Sure as hell didn't expect so many titans to appear, are they all shifters? Overall an amazing first episode, the soundtrack was on point as usually and I'm eagerly awaiting the second episode now. |
| Great episode. Everything was on point, though certain scenes were more thrilling in the manga (the scene when Eren was shaking and questioning himself), the ending was fascinating. Not a big fan of the opening. |

| Mika Kobayashi interludes are badass as usual (although slightly overplayed). I wonder if the "we'll see the ocean this year" is the same thing as Owari No Seraph's it's going to rain soon. Levi being a beautiful badass as usual. Either way it already looks like an improvement from part 1. Let's hope it stays the same. |

| This first episode was thrilling! I love the new OP, the uplifting music and choirs are back, thank you Linked Horizon :) It was nice to see Eren and the rest entering their hometown, so many feels. Putting Armin in charge of the troop is good (I hope). His intuition is proven to be top notch. When he discovered the holes in Wall Maria it sent chills down my spine. Reiner scared the hell out of me! I am no manga reader but surrounded by all those strong titans I can feel there is a huge fight coming up... Can't wait for next week! |

| Now after the long long wait I could enjoy it again... and I get it why Armin is so liked by readers. Visuals are really great, those Titans gonna be a problem. 6/5 |
| The first 20 minutes of the episode were pretty good. Flashbacks, scouting, investigations, mostly setup to be sure but it was done well as you could feel something nasty was about to happen. But my God, those last two minutes were simply amazing, especially the music. The OST that played as the boulder landed was just perfect for that moment. I don't remember its name but I know it was used back in season 1 during pivotal scenes and it has always been my favorite. So overall, I would call this a very good première 4.5/5. |
| HOLY FUCK ! Best first episode since S1. That twist at the end.... The way the interactions are going, Armin is going to either take over for Erwin once he GG's or at least take a role of importance this season. |
| Magnificent episode! Reiner's surprise attack against a Battalion of Exploration is CRAZY just like the attack on Levi against Reiner! The opening is a mix of all the other openings. |

| Good episode overall, next one should be the real deal, i hope WIT will make a perfect adaptation of this arc, this Manga really deserves it. |
