Did someone with konosuba in their favourite really say that?! Konosuba's rinse and repeat jokes didn't even end with season 1. They continued until the end of season 2. Must be the nudity thing then because that's what Kaguya's been failing the viewers. |

On the other hand, Konosuba is not romance. I don't hate Kaguya or anything, and I would probably enjoy the manga, but just the current anime adaptation so far doesn't look really good to me. Maybe if they did the jokes for 5 episodes, and then progressed the story further, it would have been nice. But it looks like the adaptation is only going to limit itself to the jokes and no further progression in the story like the manga, right? Honestly from what I've seen and read they don't even focus that much on the "will they or will they not confess?" aspect, it's more a lot of situation happen and it's funny kind of like konosuba. The only difference is that in kaguya a fair amount of those event are love-related. I'll also add that after the end of the season 1 they also deviate more from the aspect of "trying to get them confess" and get into more hilarious skit that get more and more original as the serie goes. We also get into more "story arc" like the 2 past episode where event are continuous. We also see a strong continuity in the manga with fans finding stuff that are reflected later in the manga in the current anime season and a real progression of the romance, so a 2nd season of Kaguya would be even better than the first if there ever is one. Finally the romance does progress in the manga, we got to a great phase of it, if you have the patience for it I would recommend you trying the manga after the anime and stay tuned for the next few episodes, it might fit your taste. |

But if you can't enjoy the little moments I don't think that this kind of romance is for you, you can still enjoy the comedy though. This show is a full course dinner, and I can assure you that it steadily progress by all the steps until the main dish, but it seems that you want fast food. |
| Holy fuck, the voice acting was unequivocally fantastic this episode! It's always been good, but HOLY HELL this episode, ever single one of them is shining with godly talent, even the bloody narrator. I was blown away. Every moment of every scene sold perfectly. Also, someone gonna give our narrator-san the seiyuu award please? That NAI! NAI! NAI! NAI! NAI! NAI! was sooooo based! I can't even begin to describe how amazing this ep was. @TheRay28 @Thai777 You realize these 2 idiots are confessing to eachother literally all the damn time, they are just too stupid to clue in or admit it. But that's why it's great. I adore idiot love chemistry. They've been acting like a couple of crazy newlyweds for ages. Also there's loads of continuous character progression, all of the gags and jokes are somehow brilliantly crafted into character and chemistry-building setpieces. |

But to be honest, what makes this anime really great is how they care and develop each of its character. Noticed how even a side characters like kashiwagi and her boyfriend, keep come and also progress the story. So yeah, romance progress could be pretty slow but character interactions is making up for it. |

| Friend police Chika was funny and you can't really blame her for ruining that moment because Ishigami went and got her to try and break up the fighting. I loved the last segment with the Student Council celebrating for summer vacation and both Chika and Ishigami yelling yay but one was more more enthusiastic than the other. Kaguya turning off her brain knowing she can't get Chika to do ehr bidding was funny and Ishigami was able to beat Chika's "I need to be involved for you guys to do anything" mentality at the end. |

It was almost as if they were dating. For me the MVP was Ishigami, he definitely won! |

| Ishigami's rant was masterful, nothing less from him. Ouroboros... At least Kaguya and Shirogane managed to patch their relationship up. And in what a manner... Although the summer trip discussion segment was definitely one of the highlights of the episode as well. I cracked up when Shirogane wholeheartedly called Chika an asshole. Still, the female troll finally got what she deserved. |

Because all her wrongdoings balance out in someway or other, just like Yuu had a couple of field days on her (catching her cheating on card game and then leaving her out of the festival plans). I just don't find it funny how majority of anime-only's treat her like an angel when her entire existence is based on avarice, deception, deceit and narcissism (again apart from her feelings for Kaguya, which is genuine) the anime has already presented. You'll get used to the characters and their dynamics more if you read the manga. There will be many more characters coming in the story (including the 5th main character) so, the complex web of interactions will just keep on getting crazier. | This show is a bit annoying overall I think. But it has cute moments like the finger touching on the lips. Too much narration and dialogue. Too much sitting around in the office in one setting. I didn't understand Fujiwara's part at the end. I'm starting to fast forward through her parts. |

| Kaguya being upset because Miyuki didn't intend to do anything to her xD The second segment was easily my favorite one. It was so entertaining to watch both Kaguya and Miyuki seeking for advice due to what happened last episode. Ishigami was incredible by just being himself when he was giving his opinions to Miyuki but that aside, I'm glad it all ended well between them, especially for Kaguya and that lip-touching advance xD Overall, it was another fantastic episode. |
