Who the hell decided that throwing in 1:30 of a bird watching the party was a good idea? Like at least have them do something, moving around, speaking. Ffs be creative don't just be lazy and shove in something like that so you have an excuse to throw in the song.

I watched this episode first via the RAW version which is captured directly from the japanese TV/stream. It had a different ending when it comes to the credits. CR seems to have either fucked it up or the ending was altered for the streaming services.

Woah, I thought episode 1 was gonna happen again.. luckily, Goblin Slayer clutched the situation and saved them. He was hearing some weird noises and voices talking to him... What happened to him? Is he still alive?

And why did we have to stare into the birds eye for like a minute at the end??? That really confused me!

I nearly wet myself too. Great action this ep and looking forward to the BD bathing enhancements. Priest-chan's screams were quite viceral, producing a reaction in GS that wasn't OP. Well-played. Rape bait did well too, keeping the gobs busy while the dwarf got in some licks. All in all, some fine party dynamics. Even priest-chan contributed significantly during the early portion of the battle. Bone warrior wasn't much help though.

hmm So that extended creditless scene at the end explains that birds eye huh? Agreed i also felt they dragged that out needlessly but nonetheless i enjoyed that church sounding choir music that played along it.

And Elf-fans will be disappointed that the anime cutoff a really cute scene in the manga with elf and goblin slayer at the bar where that muscle-head was thrash talking goblin slayer calling him a "hick" and high elf sorta flirted with him to make them guys jealous.

He did because he didn't really had the strenght to actually kill him. He was dying at one point.

Today was an intense episode.
Today's episode gave us everything, first bath service, Sword Maiden is Hot and beautiful, the conversation between Priestess and Sword Maiden left me worried.
High Elf is still adorable, especially the dialogues she has with Goblin Slayer.
The group of adventurers falls into a trap, they are locked up at the mercy of the goblins, but GS had his tricks saved for this occasion, the surprise was the Goblin Champion, the damn monster dared to harm poor Priestess, the same with High Elf, the goblins dared to undress her, those filthy goblins, they touched her pale skin, they deserve death.
The Goblin Champion had a brutal force and GS received a hard beating, the poor Priestess was scared to remember the words of Sword Maiden, but in the end Goblin Slayer showed all he´s potential and he achieve to hurt the Goblin Champion and made the horde of goblins fall back, but this result left the group of adventurers in very bad condition and the one who took the worst part was Goblin Slayer.
I hope that the next episode is the revenge of our adventurers, I hope they eliminate all the goblins and I expect that the death of the Goblin Champion be epic.

also tentative rape on high elf archer, makes it clear that adventures with goblin slayer is not for fragile women.
I was expecting goblin champion to be stronger, aournd the same level as a demon (GS said that it was like a platinum adventurer??), he nearly killed him. Too bad he didn't finish him off, but I hope it doesn't drag too long because I consider the champion as already defeated at this point.

Again tge translator fkd up.Goblin slayer said that Champions are the "silvers" of the goblin world and lords are the "platinum of the goblin world.Btw Champion is very strong

That was a very brutal and gory episode...I loved it!
Kinda weird that the priestress arm wasn't cut off given this bite....
I am glad that the bird survived but the 90 seconds off still-shot of the bird's eye reminded me of a certain scene from episode 24 of Neon Genesis Evangelion...but then I read in the comments it was a mistake by Crunchyroll (how the hell did they do that?!?) and it makes sense since the episode was 25:10 minutes long instead of 23:40....it was supposed to be the ending credits instead of the regular ED put afterwards...

Also, I really hate hair censorship! (and I want to see the Elf tits...guess I will stick with rule 34...)

Something else that bothered me: that human hair should not have been a good garrote. It was on a corpse that was decaying for who knows how long? Unless it was a wig, but then it wouldn't have been "human hair", as Goblin Slayer referred to it as, now would it?
