| holy shit, Shishigami... My god. He needs to be stopped. I'm starting to be desensitized to the horrible attrocities he's being depicted as doing in this anime. But it's still just... WOOOOW. Inuyashiki really needs to step up! Show some urgency, fly around looking for him. I'm sure he could be doing more than he is right now. Ando is being great though, and I have hopes that Inuyashiki's daughter will have some good leading part in these last 2 episodes. Something that's bothered me throughout, and certainly in this episode more than ever, is how calm people are being. It's ridiculous! They're just like "whatever, I'll still use my smartphone, Shishigami can't do anything..." even though they should know by now the amount of insane things Shishigami is capable of. There is not enough widespread panic. This probably wasn't the most powerful episode - I know they added the scene on the plane with the foreigner who has a baby to make us care more about the plane crash but that was a bit of a rushed, pointless thing. They could've use the airing time a bit more effectively. Still, I've got mostly positive thoughts for the anime as a whole. It's been very intense and interesting to watch. It's still a solid 8 so far. |

Hes always been out for only himself the entire series hence why he is genuinly baffled why the GF is so offput by the idea of him eliminating japan but for him. Mari's death foreshadowed? I think so. With every show there are flaws and there are huge flaws in this show too. However, for what it is, I'm enjoying it. I don't expect much of anything from seasonal Anime, but I'm getting a kick out of this. Hiro's logic can be seen as stupid, but also believable. Let's not forget that Hiro is a teenager. We've all been at that rebellious age where you think you're the only one that's right. This show implies what could happen when two different types of people are given the same power. Not everyone in this world is a saint. Some would actually use the power the way Hiro does and other's would use it the way Inuyashiki does. What could've lead Hiro to be what he is? Hiro never had the ideal family growing up, all he had was a mother that raised him on her own because his father walked out on them and is living a happy life with a different family, while his mother was working her tail off to support him and herself. Therefore, I believe there's that resentment that's been growing in him. Case and point the family he massacred in the beginning of the show. Once his Mother committed suicide he lost it, but Shion was there for him. She tried to reason him into being a better person, to help others with his power, but what ended up happening? Shion and her Grandma were killed... shortly. He realized there is no point of helping people with his powers. Do I think what he is doing is right? No. Do I support what he's doing? No. But, I see where he's coming from. Plus, he's not meant to be the good guy in this story. You guys all hate him, right? I think that's the role he's playing perfectly. That's how I see it at least, if the way I'm thinking is naive let me know. I love discussions. Alot of people might misinterperte what i am saying as "its ok cause they said hes sociopathic", but what im really trying to say in the tl;dr version is that they have given clear reasons of logic behind hiro's sociopathic tendencies that display the logic in hiro's mind. We see why killing makes him feel alive and why he values his mom/gf over others. Hes illogical to us sane people, but they have clearly and accurately layed out why all this makes sense in hiro's mind. |

Me thinks a majority of MAL's viewers are a bunch of ignorant idiots who don't do research and are shocked by this series. Also, people are saying that Hiro has no motivation to kill, NOT ALL murderers have a motivation to kill, they just kill. There isn't supposed to be any logic in anything they do. |

| Hiro just goes full killer this episode, and honestly if he really ended up wanting to kill all of Japan he could probably do it because their bodies literally show no extent to how much damage they can take without getting extremely fucked up Also judging from how this episode ended storywise I can already tell the final two episodes are going to feel super rushed! | More commentary on society's dependence on electronics. Inuyashiki's kids saying they might as well be dead if they don't have their cell phones. That's something any person might say in jest on an average day. These kids are in a real situation in which having their phone could kill them...and they still can't part with it. She wasn't using hyperbole...she'd really rather be dead than not have her smart phone. Man, that's heavy. |

| Hiro: Guess I can't repent of my actions so I might as well keep going. There's no turning back and Shion is becoming scared of what may happen next. These other girls though; "Oh he may be a killer but he's still hot". What the heck?! So whose ready to just cut the power so he can't kill from screens? Then again that may not help since he can probably turn it back on. Or hey even worse (is it worse?) he makes a visit. It's interesting to look at how much tech is depended on and what can and may occur when someone takes advantage of it. Furthermore the whole "Killing someone through the screen" reminds me of SAO II with Death Gun (different methods, same result). So Hiro is now an enemy to his own country... I guess in a way (an infamous way) that is kind of cool. |

| The central themes: -Technology is bad -babies almost being killed (it happened twice!) Teenagers fanning over a mass murderer. That's an interesting topic. Shinigami's hand camera is pretty great! After the shooting takes place, Inuyshiki's daughter still just wants to go to Tokyo Disney and is not afraid! Ha! I knew from the moment the new girl boarding the plane was introduced, the plane was going to crash and everyone's dead. :'( RIP everyone in the city and on the plane |

| Today on "bullshit Inuyashiki expects me to just go with": a terrorist with seemingly unstoppable power is on the loose, threatens to kill 1,000 people at random tomorrow, and school/work still operates as normal. Most people don't seem that concerned. What?! At least they didn't go the completely tasteless route and have Hiro hack into that woman's phone, shooting the baby right in the face. |

| Hiro was completely done with everything so he just decided to declare war to all of Japan and showed how all-reaching and terrifying his unexplainable powers are. 99 people in Shinjuku lost their lives in half an hour despite Ando and Inuyashiki's district-wide phone warning... Going as far as to crash a plane into the city for easy kills after Shion expressed her desperation for him to stop was even more despicable. As unfortunate as it is, he has to die because he's far beyond redemption now. |

| I know when a show is shit when I get bored easily with random deaths, even the deaths from episode 2 were much better than this. Also, nobody acts like a normal person in this show. I mean, 100 ppl died but everything seems like a normal day to the rest. 1/5 |

| Inuyashiki had multiple chances to confront Hiro before but for whatever reason, he didn't. The last few episodes spent way too much focus on Hiro but I can't sympathize with him. I'd like more episodes like episode 4 but it's too late now. Sure the people portrayed by this anime are stupid assholes but the real world isn't so different. I remember when a pretty cosplayer tried to kill her ex-boyfriend and the internet tried worshipping her as "IRL yandere waifu". It's not like these types of people had any real motives to murder either. They were straight-up psychopaths. |
