Also, Victor Entertainment is who put out the DVD's (the DVD's didn't hit until 2004 it seems), VHS tapes, and laserdiscs for the series in Japan, not Geneon Japan (back then known as Pioneer as it would be years before this happened (read the "about")). So simply, the Japanese release had unique openings for each episode while the initial Geneon and FUNimation releases didn't, but their final releases did. | I read a few pages ago about Sakamoto desu Ga - because I had been wondering why the episode number is still "?" and not 13. Some news already spoke of "episode 13" that probably won't get aired. But I think there doesn't neet to be a "special" for episode 13. You can just set the main entry to 13. Since they intended to broadcast it at first. It belongs to the series and was not intended to be some special. If this were some series with a story/plot and not episodical then it probably would end the story (vs. some specials that usually only are beach/fanservice episodes). |

Afaik they have more things listed at the main anime pages and just list specials there as "special" without making a whole new entry in the database. (Where here I suggested it only for this special case.) But I think this discussion might be better suited for a suggestion thread then. But it seems MAL wants to stay with old/bad systems (there also have been a lot of suggestions regarding the genre system and how to improve it and not many team members answered there). |

Later on in the series she can't handle her emotions and uses the magic to harm others and her friends--it's like a beast that swallows her and she mentally breaks down afterwards each time. It accumulates in the finale where she has to choose between destroying humanity or suicide after finding out the the magic spirits are virtues and vices and the only reason she was born was because a spirit wanted a new test subject (indicating they've been doing it for years so who knows how many hundreds of kids have chosen "suicide" since humanity is still around). Also the title has ∽ in it between uta and kata. It seems to act like all those anime that have the star symbol in the middle of a title. |

| Does anyone know an easy way to romanize titles to MAL's standard? I just added the episodes for Najica Blitz Tactics and I didn't have proper romanization. Normally I add episodes using AniDB, copying and pasting their titles and airing date, and then using Wikipedia/FUNi/CR for synopsises. However for Najica, they didn't have any romanized titles. If anyone can romanize the titles, that would be great too. |
