SynopsisThis story is centered around a girl named Kuronuma Sawako who is nicknamed Sadako (ghost girl from "The Ring") by her classmates because of her scary face and demeanor. She greatly admires Kazehaya-kun from afar, he is "100% refreshing" and is able to draw in people with his personality. Unlike her facial expressions she yearns to make friends and live as a normal student. Gradually she starts to affect those around her, including Kazehaya-kun...

I am really liking this anime. I am a fan of the manga, and I have to say that this anime is doing it justice. If your into Shoujo and in for a different type of romance than this is the anime for you. (and when I say different I mean -I read the same stuff where boy chases girl and shes popular-not the case here)
Story revolves around a first year named Sawako. She is very shy and has been called "Sadako" (girl from the RING movie). She soon gets attention from a very cheerful boy named Kazehaya and her world changes.
Nobody's in love YET going into week 4 but the relationships are growing and there will be some DRAMA (which i love). Im loving the opening and ending songs(10points) ^_^I cant wait to see how they portray the rest of this manga/anime.

I'm loving the adaptation of kimi ni todoke!
If you've read the manga, you'll know this is a great story. It's not your typical shoujo type where the main character is a super cool and preety girl who falls for a guy and drools around following him. It's very funny, very cute and you just fall in love with all the characters in it. Especially Sawako.
The characters in the anime look just like they do in the manga, and I know the art might not be everyones cup of tea, but it is VERY similar to the mangakas style, wich I think is great. Backgrounds in stuff are really deatailed and beautiful too!
I love the opening and ending themes and I think the voices suit the characters really well so I give it a 10 for sound!
I'm more of a manga lover, but I must say this anime gets an overall 10 from me! read more

Both of the lead female protagonist are like Sadako from the ring.
Also both of them are being looked down at because of how they look but that doesnt mean they dont know how to fight!.
Their strong characters come out when their freinds are being looked down at, this attitude they have came out when the lead female meets the lead guy and her life suddenly changed for the better =3
Heroine is a sensitive girl but she have spooky apearance, so other people be afraid of her. She's in love with a boy, who is very popular.
And they have very cute chibi-versions.
A story about a girl who everyone is afraid of. Sunako and Sadako have mainly different characters and different reasons for being scary, but both, deep in their hearts, are really good girls and can be cute when try.
Also, they adore the biggest bishounen and happen to interact with them in various ways.
Those are so far the only similarities I've noticed. The story goes on in a totally different way.
Both animes deal with girls who have a scary aura to the students around them. It is about how they are ostrazied for being different, one through choice, (Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge), and one through the fact she is different and needs the chance to open up, (Kime ni Todoke). They deal with issues that suround the day to day life and has a somewhat gothic feel to them. The one difference is, Yamato exagerates the situation, while Kime is more realistic.
Both of the lead female protagonist look like Sadako from the ring.
Also both of them are being looked down at because of how they look. They both turn chibi sometimes.

They both have the same feel and style to it. Their is a very similar art style and the two main guys have the same personality. High school love theme, Drama, Romance, Comedy and a slice of life maybe.
Both has more on romance...and a little of comedy. The way they graphic it is just the same.
Both are romance animes and somehow both give similar feeling.
