There are no statements which I consider controversial or rather I should say that my frontal cortex is damaged so I score nigh zero on conscientiousness scale. I have no idea which opinions of mine would be 'controversial'. However, the worst reactions I've ever got on any one of my opinions were on this one: "People who praise Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood as the pinnacle of anime have below average IQ and are basically walking emotional fallacies''. | Hunter X Hunter is bland and has no depth. The story goes nowhere, it's basically just a bunch of kids fooling around and acting like wannabe adult. Plus, the animation/artwork is horrible. I think I enjoyed more Fairy Tail than HxH. |

| -Kill la Kill wasn't that entertaining. The characters were all irritating too -Steins;Gate's plot is fine, but the execution is boring and again, the characters aren't anything special. -Zankyou no Terror is a prime example of a show going downhill after it's first few episodes. The music and animation are great, but the plot? not so much -The idol anime genre is subpar and brings nothing new to the table and is incredibly troupe-y. I would love for this to change though. -Anime as a whole is pretty sexist. -Despite how influential it is, Gunbuster wasn't very good. The pacing was fine, but the characters, plot, and music were bland. -Characters that speak in third person and/or add little quirks to the end of all their sentences aren't cute. -The sexualization of loli and shota chaaracters regardless of age is creepy as fuck. |
| Considering the latest season of Gintama easily passed FMA:BH which has been number 1 for awhile and Berserk hasn't ever dropped down from number 1....even if you still meant it as a joke they still deserve to be up their. |

| Here's mine: The Utena tv show is overrated and didn't aged well. The true masterpiece is the movie. Blood-C and Elfen Lied are great. Kamina is a moron, and the episodes with him are the worst in Gurren Lagann. KyoAni is the most overrated studio. Monogatari series is boring and pretentious, and more disturbing than many ecchis by far. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Arakawa under the bridge are better. Samurai Champloo is better than Cowboy Bebop. Mawaru Ppenguindrum is better than Utena. Enough with those? |

| Not anything I'm afraid of saying, but rather abstain because it's not in my personality to keep on bashing shit, but here goes; Madoka Magica is overrated as fuck, so is Hayao Miyazaki and Makoto Shinkai, especially Shinkai. Dude only has visuals and everyone thinks he's some magic story writer. Guy can't write for crap. Also, Grave of the Fireflies is a terrible movie and is not even remotely sad or sympathetic. And One Piece has been shit for quite a while now (ever since the time skip, in fact). |

| Makoto Shinkai is a hack who doesn't understand romance and therefore tries to disguise his scripts behind high-level concepts that don't pan out. Trigun holds up worse in 2016 than most other late 90s anime does. Dated animation, dated characters, dated plot. Urobuchi Gen is the only writer who has told a compelling story within the Fate universe. Legend of the Galactic Heroes is riddled with pacing issues, half of its cast is paper-thin, and its entire fourth season is ill-conceived. Most of the "clever" tactics could be replicated by any kid who's taken a few weeks of geometry. Female and minority characters are woefully under-represented. The series likes to pretend its politics are complex, but if you boil down its central themes you're left with sweeping generalizations about a dichotomy of monarchies and democratic republics. It's obnoxious, pretentious, and elitist—just like its fanbase. |
