That's why it's literally translated to "Elementary School 5th Grade". Shogakukan has a line of these magazines each one aimed at a different grade going from Kindergarten to 6th. These are educational magazines. The anime and manga are completely appropriate for kids because it's teaching them about the world and their bodies--especially this one where the kids are starting puberty. Just because someone didn't request a genre tag for a manga doesn't mean it's the end-all decision of an anime adaptation's genres. Hatta's name is 八田 in Japanese but when read in the original Chinese kanji it is pronounced Batain which is why the Jap title for this film uses katakana to indicate that because otherwise people would pronounce it Hatta if they used straight up kanji. |

Sorry, just because this show has kids learning about puberty, it doesn't necessarily mean it's for kids. Same reason Higurashi isn't tagged shounen or shoujo or kids. It even says 'Children' next to the PG rating so I don't think referring to that is very convincing either. And Higurashi doesn't have a demographic tag because the source material is a game and not something published in a magazine with a target demographic. That has really nothing to do with the topic at hand. |

| Regarding Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers, the episode number should be changed. It says 98 as following the Japanese broadcast. But, when I was looking at the episodes, the episode number can vary which I cannot even decide. In Japanese broadcast there are many clip shows (summary episodes) that have no airing dates listed on Transformers Wiki site and it's hard to find the dates elsewhere. There are 11 such episodes (info: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Clip_show) in addition to the normal 95 eps been broadcast in Japan, they are not included in DVD release in Japan either). Also, amongst the amount of episodes, 2 episodes from the original 95 eps were straight-to-video releases instead (with just the year 1990 written on wiki). So either the ep number increases to 106 episodes to include the 9 clip shows that have no dates (though this is gonna be difficult to list them in episodes section); or having 95 episodes like in US broadcast; or put it as 93 episodes, which means it doesn't include all those clip shows and straight-to-video episodes. Which one would be the case? As I wanna submit the correct episode names too for the Japanese version on episode list in that anime entry. |
