Whole anime i'll give a 6/10. I'm a fellow manga reader like alot of people the anime did not explain alot of details that need explaining, a few scenes got cut that i would've loved to see in full. I can't wait for the manga now that i sene this how will the slow paced manga portray whats to come? Yu the king of salt! With a cliffhanger like that i can see it getting a season 3 i don't think the anime did bad i think it did decent enough to get a next season once theres more source material. Can't wait for alot of this crap to be explained in the manga...Guess i gotta say the line im making my line....SEASON 3 OR WE RIOT! XD

I love the characters in this anime so much more than most others. I'm really hoping for a season 3. Especially because so much is still unexplained/unfinished. I want to know what's going to happen with Guren, the Demon Company, the vampires and their new little kid leader, and of course Yu and the gang (especially now that Mika is with them).
But most of all, I want to know WHAT HAPPENED TO LOLI-QUEEN KRUL!?!?

Is no one going to point out the fact that the MC is THE GOD OF SALT? Lmfao, that's so hilarious to me. I keep imagining the MC being a hardcore League gamer and became really salty he kept losing, therefore dying and transcending into the king of all salts lol....

Probably, but not for a long time. Like a LONG time. They covered all the material and then some. There is literally negative material left to adapt because the anime jumped ahead.

Since they basically did the same thing as they did with AoT, I'm gonna guess roughly 3 years with an announcement sometime in year 2.

July or October 2016? Are you high? There is literally zero material left. Unless you expect them to turn 6 future chapters into an anime.

Yes. You're right. I read the manga again and compared it to the s2. So S2 includes chapter 20 to chapter 41-...42?. Then s3 could be aired in 2017. But i don't think they will wait til 2017. They didn't wait to do the s2 and they anticipated in the anime the next chapter(s)

They didn't wait for the second season because it was a split cour, meaning the anime was planned to be 24 episodes from the beggining and they just took a break between the two cours. Probably because of the low amount of chapters available. Since there are no more chapters to adapt they need to wait a long time or make a season with anime original content. Anime original seasons however, are mostly not that good.

It's not a perfect series and most of the characters are really annoying but I'm one of those fucks who's only here for the fujoshi bait, so I can live with it. At least there was good Mika/Yuu interaction this season.

In terms of final episodes I enjoyed it. Usually they're pretty lackluster but lots of shit happened here. Maybe a little bit too much shit, though. At least it was well animated.

Also, seeing Mika in normal clothes felt really out of place. It's like in Harry Potter when the wizards have to dress up as muggles and they don't do a very good job...

Well this just went from an already meager 6/10 to a deserved 4/10 :p

What a total wreck of a plot. So much predictable shit happening yet also so much random team switching, one hit KO of supposedly OP demon as the legendary don't we all know it, king of SALT.... Srsly, the fuck was up with that ahahahah so lame xD

If you read the bible (which hardly anyone does and that's sad) it is not lame. It makes sense and it's actually pretty cool.

Yes, I do find great humor in it. I shall repost my salt jokes since nobody even looked at them.

The ending was a little... Until ep 11 it was a perfect adaptation and IDK if the manga wil continue this way but as an anime ending it was disappointing IMO.

Krul is captured by Ferid (screw it all if she's dead!) and he becomes the new ruler of Japan, Yuu becomes the demon of salt (wtf?!), the Shinoa squad runs away with Mika and Narumi (Shinya would've been a cool addition but no...) and Guren teams up with Kureto (?) while also being Ferid's accomplice (?). Yeah, a total mess...

Just like the others already said: I can't wait for the next chapter.

The Yuu salt memes have been going crazy, it's most likely due to 'purification' though. Why was Yuu the second trumpet if before it showed all 7? Is it like a lucky dip or something? Can you choose? Like what trumpet is Mika and the others then?

It was so cliché ... The fights were good especially when Guren kills everyone, but the transformation of Yu and all the speeches with Mika were so predictable. At the beginning, we learn that be possessed by the demon is very dangerous but Yu uses it every times without thinking about the risks. And more, he killed himself to use the Angel's power.
What a pity, because this season was very good compared to the first one, just the last episode that was a bit disappointing.

Damn! Lot's of shits things happened. It's really intense!
I wish we will get another TV Sequel sometime soon.
Anyway, I'll rate this anime an 8 (or 9) out of 10 score overall.

If there is any silver lining in me having finished this season, it's that I won't have to watch anything that has to do with the series for the next 2-3 years. Look, I think this series could've been something worthwhile--and maybe the manga does a much better job at telling the story, but there is just no saving this cast. It's like the artist deliberately designs the character personalities so they suffer from retard syndrome every 5 minutes. This certainly belongs in the "mindless fun" category but I can't be sure how fun it is when I'm constantly going like "WTF WHY ARE THEY ALL SO STUPID?"

The only thing that MAYBE keeps me going is Shinoa. But then Yuu is clearing heading toward boy love direction with Mika. I can't.

Oh well, at least the soundtrack is rather superb in my opinion.

It's mostly based in the manga climax of the Nagoya battle with some differences to wrap it up or to create suspense (Mika is never hurt for instance).

I found this series to be average at best (maybe a bit better than the first season). However, this final episode had a lot of cool stuff in it. If the series as a whole had more supernatural stuff and ambiguous allegiances I might have liked it better.

I wonder if they'll make more seasons?

Man they turned Mirai into an artificial angel. :( Sounds nasty.

Guren had no problem penetrating everyone especially the main character.

I still keep thinking Asuramaru's a girl wearing that dress.

I don't know why I find the "King of Salt" title so funny, it sounds like a name someone would be dubbed after being so goddamn bitchy all the time.

Anyway, I got angry when Ferid manhandled my loli Krul Tepes. Everything went to shit pretty fast and Guren is pissing me off. I change my earlier statement, I think Guren is one of those characters who I dislike for both reasons and no reason at all. He has a punchable face. I still don't care that much about Shinoa but she's definitely a level above Guren.

Wtf??? I hope this is not how the series will end. Otherwise, I will be disappointed. Anyways, the last ep. had some good animation/fights. I knew they would use that loli girl, but I didn't know it were that four eyes sister. That was a suprisement. LOL, Yuu went in his Owari no Seraph mode. I would love to see more of the fight in that mode.

Overall, this season had some good animation/fights. The OST and plot were pretty meh and it had a slooooow plot progressing. But overall, I think it deserves 7/10 just like the first season.

But... they should be dead, right? Like, they should all be dead? Why show Mika with a gaping wound and make it all emotional if he's going to be fine? Why show two people getting stabbed by an incredibly powerful/magical sword and then have them both walk away from it? Well, they were carried, but they both walked for a while. Oh, and I don't buy for one second that puny Yoichi, God love him, could carry Kimizuki on his back. Maybe adrenaline helped, but honestly, I tend to doubt it.

Most of your complains will be fixed in the manga.

However remember that Mika, Kimizuki, Youchi and Yuu are seraphs experiments. The seraph kids are very very resistant to damage (why do you think Mika held up even if he had his chest stabbed, blood sucked and lost an arm, he was even conscious while other kids died for less? It's the seraph. When he was 4, the seraph kept him alive when he had a broken neck and other deadly injuries). Kimizuki was also in the seraph experiment list Guren had in the backstory LN, so keep this in mind. If it had been Mitsuba, Makoto or Shinoa, they would have probably died.

Hahahaha !! Did the author really named him as the King of Salt? what a joke. It made me laugh more than I should.

I hope Krul is not entirely gone, I want to see more of her in a later season.

The end scene was confusing, that transition was plain terrible and it didn't really lead to a good cliffhanger.

Well, very rushed, but epic with all the fights. S2 much better than S1. Animation quality caved halfway in S1, then S2 slowly got back its pace & improved on 2nd half. Loved Guren slashing crazy, Kureto's lightning, mud vs salt fight. Mirai looked awesome.
Second Trumpet! King of Salt! Yuu reached 9000 salty!!!!
Sounds like there's 7 kings, & we saw 2. So eventually 5 others should show up.
Why did Ashuramaru knock out Yuu, or cooperating with Mahiru? Or was it to protect him from the saltiness? Guess I'll repickup the manga.
Hope Krul's fine. I'm pleasantly surprised Narumi survived, and has an impressive shield size, thought he'd shout some powermove GREAT WALL!
4 months timeskip. Seems Kureto + Guren are winning some ground.
Not really invested in the characters, but Shinoa's team was fun to watch. Nice how Yuu really grew mature & shed the annoying brat in S1. Kimizuki getting more development. Various motives are finally revealed and the plot becomes larger than simply human vs vampire.

I can see where you're coming from, but that's not exactly right.

All the children in the Hyakuya orphanage were seraph experiments, hence why Krul wanted ALL of them, not just Mika and Yuu. It's just that Mika was the only one she could salvage. They were all seraph experiments, yet the died quickly. That doesn't make sense.

As well as that, we know that Yu and Mika have been experimented on(by the orphanage and the JIDA) but neither Yoichi nor Kimizuki were experimented on, as far as we know. So, using your explanation, it would create a huge plot hole as to why Akari and the others died, whereas Yoichi and Kimizuki, who have not been experimented on by the Hyakuya sect nor the JIDA, survived.

However. It was stated by Kureto after Yu was interrogated(after Yoichi and Kimizuki were stabbed) that Demon weapons heal their users and that it wasn't a problem. That information just happened to be skipped in the anime. Lol, WIT.

It explains why Yoichi's and Kimizuki's wounds healed very quickly.

It also makes sense because the demons were once vampires and vampires heal incredibly quickly.

This was actually good. I really like shows based on supernatural things with a post-apocalyptic theme. The fights were entertaining despite the weaker protagonists. However, the characters were somewhat disappointing to watch especially Yuu. I was hoping to see him become more mature and sincere instead he became more impulsive and stupid. I really hope this show gets a season 3.
