| Our profile looks absolutely different now! That was a huge surprise. Well, I'm not exactly hating this, it's fine, but I don't like how our favorites are in the middle. I super love that we get to have 10 favorite manga/anime though. Even if the change isn't perfect yet, I'm glad you are actually changing stuff around MAL. |

| I'd put favorites back on the side. Seems pointless with the drop down menu only being there for 5 more characters. And even if the option to add more "favorites" now is added, it just looks ugly and cluttered to me. Put that back on the side, flip Statistics and the Bio back to they were, and I'll love it. |

| I really hate the design, its too cluttered and a pain to look at, the thing i dislike the most though is how the favorites are displayed, placing the different subgroups horizontally next to each other makes things look like its all one big clusterfuck of icons, they belong on the left hand side verically standing where they can be easily differentiated from. |

| Speaking as someone who always liked the design on MAL, I hate the changes. The main way I used to update what I was watching was to click "edit" next to a show's title in the "Last Anime Updates" section at the top of my profile, but now those edit buttons are gone, and the whole section has been shifted down. I much preferred having my updates and stats above my profile, and having the manga and anime updates integrated (since personally I read very little manga and that list will almost never appear accurate now.) I HATE how the stats look now with the garish primary-colored bars that tell me basically nothing. The point of the bars before was to compare how much I've seen to what is typical of other fans on the site. I had been FOR YEARS looking forward to having a solid blue bar on my Time section, and I was probably less than 10 days away and now it's gone. I feel completely robbed. The new bar makes "dropping" a show look like some kind of hate crime with the red bar, and the jumble of colors really means nothing to me. I also don't get what the point of the "mean score" is. All it's gonna do is lead to people saying things like "well your mean score shows that you're more critical than most people so that must be why you have X opinion." The whole favorites section just plainly looks awful and awkward. It's just a mass of images. The only good addition there is the dates next to the shows (and I guess getting 10). And the comment replies system is still as weird and stupid as ever. The only additions I like are the "rewatched" and "episodes watched" statistics, but the episodes one is always going to be inaccurate because there's no way to mark partial rewatches or random extra episodes rewatched without marking a show as "re-watching" (misleading). As a user of this site for 8 years, I sincerely hope that these things are changed/fixed. |

| Who's idea was it to just put the about me section right there at the top? It looks so awkward. It's just so damn awkward looking. I mean, how could you think that looks nice? At least have "About Username" and a line that the about me stuff goes under (possibly a box around the whole about me bit) so it doesn't look like it's just awkwardly floating there on the top of the page. It's disturbing. |
