| The amazing anime returns and it still rocks. Hachiman and his personality and quotes are back. Hope to see some Yukino x Hachiman action, tho Saiko isn't bad either ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Apparently 'Yahallo' is some sort of a tribal meeting. Noted. |

| They sure skipped a lot. Still trying to get used to the art but the time will come. I hope the next episode will feature flashbacks from what they skipped in this episode. |

| About me, I like the new design. Yukino is more cute and Hachiman is more handsome than ss1. |

| Only complaint of the episode- too short. Good first episode. The soundtrack is nice like always. I actually think the animation is better(?) as for art style, I prefer S1 (especially Saika's design) but the movements in this were better IMO. |

| I know that story is good and it should be nice, but lack of actual animation was really annoying. Second studio that saves money on one of the best selling LN. It's scary to think how good it could be if studio behind it would go with actual animation and good budget. Aside from it, I liked it a lot. They only need to properly adapt novels and it should be a great watch. |

| Hmm, great first episode. I like new art, even if its a bit weird. EVERYTHING looks much darker. I dont like how they portray Yukino and 8man time to time tho. Animation is 1000x better than last season, tbh. Yukino best girl. However she looks not as good with new art. Yui looks cuter in this season, tho. |
| The did a small flashback with a concert in 3D. I dont see any more 3D in this episode. P.S. But if we say of studio - P.A. Works is a best choice for OreGairu. But Feel is not so bad. I hope they didnt make new ending, because novel is still published. |

Take a look again at the scene when they were in clubroom, best example to support my argument. The only things that move is their mouth sometimes they blink, there's steam from tea and you get a moving camera or they change perspective. From time to time characters move but you can't say that it was something beyond b-production level, that's why I said there's lack of actual animation. I watched this especially without subs so I can focus only on animation, it's not looking bad but with first episode being the one (in most examples) that gets biggest focus, animation should be really solid. Animation in series like this isn't that important because it's not action so we can still practically fully enjoy this series and they can save money, it's just sad that they value it more than to make their production just better. |

| that tobecchi guy has the worst voice ever LOL, god i hope he's out of the picture ASAP. character designs wise... Yukinon actually looks better to me. Yui looks like less of a walking pair of breasts and Hachiman... man he's been butchered. I think I could get used to it though, I'll give it a few episodes :3 OP is amazing. Good episode, totsuka's smile needs to be protected! I hope saki gets a little more involvement in this season. |

Not bad, but not as good. The color kills me. And the lines don't look as sharp. Yui looked super cute blushing at the shrine, though. Yukinon, not so much. |

| The awesome insert song from the ED is back and the show is back too! Is it just me or Hachiman turned a little more ikemen this season? Must be the new studio. Lol at Hikki's comment over Hellohello. Ebina is too into BLism to even consider Tobe. She's too much, lmao. Saika game is going strong as ever haha. *enjoys a good walk with a girl* "Guess I'll go take a bath with Totsuka." Like a man. Great episode. |

Perhaps they've used a rotoscoped live action reference and animated over it but it just looks to me like a well animated scene. |

| Episode subs decide to come out when I'm already fast asleep (God damn timezones lol) huh xD Not the greatest episode we've seen but it was still pretty good and I really enjoyed it In terms of animation, everything looked pretty great to me and the art (Namely the character designs) didn't bother me at all. Heck I love the new designs and I prefer 8man's design here because it's more accurate to how he looks in the source material In regards to the meat of the episode, I never liked the blonde girl and Hayato's friend so the way he came into the class acting like a jerk pissed me off and classic Yukino told his ass to leave (That's why I love that girl so much) which made me very happy. Speaking of Yukino, she looks even hotter now imo and my heart stopped when we saw her in the last part of this episode....She looked way too cute Overall, I really missed seeing all the classic moments in this series and this episode almost had it all. Hachiman and his GOAT philosophy and mindset, Kawaii Yui, Kawaii Saika and people falling for his trap antics, Yukino just being perfect + that ending scene and all the BL jokes xD I heard that half of the volume was in this episode but hopefully they won't make a habit of this when we start to get into the meat of these next few volumes....Either way, I'm still going to enjoy it because I LOVE this series and seeing it animated is enough for me :) Also I hope that the friend gets friendzoned from our favorite BL freak, but I have a feeling that it won't happen |

| I'm not really into the animation/art this season. The color is to dull. I wished it would be more saturated as season 1. And Hachiman's eyes are kinda weird, some scenes look like he's cross eyed. Anyway, hoping for more interesting episodes to follow because this episode wasn't too compelling. |

| Don't mind the new art much. I still enjoyed the episode. My only complaint (a really minor one) is that Saika doesn't give me the same vibe anymore. His personality is still the same from what I can tell, so I'm guessing it's just the new character design...the s1 design for Saika felt more right to me lol |

First season's almost comic approach won't work here - there are a lot more powerful (and surprisingly dark -- for an SoL anyway) moments this time around..I hate the new art honestly, it gives the show a much more serious tone than it should have. The intro looks like something from SHAFT and the show itself looks like something from Kyoto animation or JC staff. Not to mention, somehow, the characters look more generic. I was looking at Yui and I kept seeing Misaka from railgun and Chicho from Maou-sama. I don't think I can unsee this now. |

They complain about almost anything, oh but when Shirobako was airing, they were saying how they understood and gave more respect for the anime business. Anime fans I honestly don't care about the art if it's bad or better. What's important is the story and characters. I quite liked this episode. Yui with her spunky energetic personality adds that zest to the show. The club room scene was full of Yui being cute and hyper. Like darn, she's on that 5 hour energy xD I'd ship Yui x Hikki, but Hikki x Yukino is also a nice pair up. I'm slightly leaning more to #TeamYui. Cute scene on the train. Hikki being too close to the other kid, who blushed. Aww The walking scene at the end was enjoyable. Got my fingers crossed to see these two get together in public when the show ends. Hina, oh Hina. Funny character. She reminded me of that glasses girl from Code Geass xD  |
