| Really strong start for to a sequel of a great series! Everything's just what I remembered from the 1st season. The atmosphere, the wackiness, everything! And I am really curious on how they will handle so many more characters than the 1st season. mudri said: I don't like Celty's new neck smoke. But now, if she's surprised, great plumes of smoke come out of her neck and knock off her helmet. See the PV also, where it forms a love-heart. Now that you mention it, Celty does appeared to be more expressive than cool like the 1st season. Maybe that's her character development? | Ah yes, that was a great way to return to Ikebukuro after a long while. It feels like you're part of it right from the start :D All the great characters and their quirks. Can't wait for next week! |

The expressive smoke is cute for more comedic scenes, which is probably what it'll be used for. |

| Wow, I like how everything feels very original to the first season of the show. It feels like the first season ended yesterday now because this season feels pretty much the same. I'm pretty excited to see what happens next. |

| This looks like it's going to be good. It's been so long since I've seen the first season though, I might have to rewatch it in order to remember what happened. The OP song was actually good, which is nice. :) |
| What a damn fantastic first episode. I've never felt this happy to get a sequel to a show I liked before. This episode brought the nostalgia train into good-feels station for me. Especially the damn OP and ED, oh the memories. And how awesome was that classical sound track, just fantastic and keeping true to the first series in that sense. I absolutely can't wait to see what comes next! Yay o/ |
| Finally, finally, finally. I missed Durarara so much and finally it's started. First episode was excellent as usual. I missed Izaya, Celty, Shizuo and the others. And we have new characters, that's so exciting. I can't wait for the next episode :) |

I remember it taking me more than 3 months to finish those first 10-12 episodes but only 2 days to marathon the rest. I really didn't like the headless rider/dulan story, I thought it was really dull, and I don't particularly like Celty. Shizou was the only interesting thing for me in those episodes. It only began getting better during the end of the first arc, with the revelation that Mikado is the one who created Dollars, which blew me away, since it was so unexpected. Reading general comments about the series, your opinion is probably in the majority, though I did see people saying they dropped it early, idk. |

| Brilliant first episode, as others have already stated. Really wish Anri gets more screen time this season. Celty and the bishonen steal way too much of the spotlight... Still wating for an Anri figure. |

| What a freaking pointless introduction episode. New characters look dumb and plot is still a mess. OP and ED are mediocre and even the animation could be a hundred times better. |
