During the fight in this episode, the raid party was separated into 2 smaller parties to take care of both bosses with the possibility of separating into 3rd for the 3rd boss. Separating yet another party to send it to another location would be pretty much a suicide even considering that what they are doing is a suicide. So it would be a suicide squared. Their forces would be too small to deal with any boss (the whole raid party had trouble with one boss). What Demikas did is very risky and he himself told him to die there which means he doubts Shiroe has any chance to survive on his own. Why Demikas did it is beyond me but maybe he wanted to give Shiroe a chance to scout the final boss room so they know what to expect when/if they beat the other bosses. |

| Really loved this episode. Log's been on a roll for quite a while now and it hasn't let up just yet. And for some reason, I kinda like the Idol girl now, lol. Demikas actually thinking of someone other than himself for a change was great too. As for Shiroe, cant't wait to see how he handles the last raid boss. Can't wait for next week's episode. |

While he might be able to break down the gates in Black Knight mode, he definitely couldn't break it in White Knight mode. (He couldn't open the gates either since the opening mechanism was on the other side.) What doesn't make sense is that Luseat would go back to Black in about 3 minutes, so this doesn't buy them that much time. As it turns out, Luseat couldn't break the gate and had to send the shadow guard through instead. As for the attack radii... I guess you don't need to keep the attack radii from overlapping, but if you do that, it results in a better "factor of safety", so even if the bosses move a bit, no-one will ever be in range of both Taltaulgar's and Ibrahabra's wide AoE attacks. As for why Demikas dragged Shiroe... Maybe (unlikely) he knew he needed to combine his speed with Shiroe's projectile attacks to make the kiting strategy work. Maybe he wanted to put Shiroe into a position where he'd be inclined to call him by his name properly. Maybe he thought the raid would end prematurely if Shiroe could just get into the goal room. (Iunno if any real raids are supposed to work like that. O.o?) Maybe he thought that Ibrahabra would be defeated even without Shiroe since Shiroe was just a backline strategist who didn't do much actual work. In any case... Definitely an impulsive move by Demikas, not thought out at all. O.o |

| I laughed so hard at the Trap riding on Naotsugu's shoulders whilst using her Aurora Heal move, all the whilst talking shop with him. Kinda reminds me of when me and my buddies used to play portable Monster Hunter against two or more boss creatures. Even the tactics were kinda similar too. I also don't understand how Shiroe and Naotsugu got armor and equipment upgrades, didn't they just spend a week collecting potions and stuff after their last (first) deaths? Since when did they have the extra armor and equipment? And if they'd had it before their first attempt at the raid, why not wear it then???? Still hasn't given us the big reveal about why Shiroe wants to beat this raid though. I really wanna know what the end purpose is. |

| So much character development for everyone, I love it. I really hate that adventurer guy though. After all the trouble they went through he was inside the last room all this time waiting for them? I hope Shiroe kicks his ass. I also love all of the MMORPG attacks and strategies they use, unlike the current SAO which isn't even about MMOs anymore... |

By this time, they won't need Shiroe right away since they'll only have Taltaulgar to deal with. ....still a cliffhanger regarding what Shiroe wants 80 trillion gold for. >.< Demikas seems to have changed rather quickly. Coming up with two good tactics on the spot (pulling AoE damage to himself and using his speed to kite all of the shadowguard whilst inserting Shiroe behind enemy lines) seems unlike him too. o.o You have to remember the "game" is becoming less and less of a game and more real by the day. The whole trick to learning the Teachings was o think of the combat as less like a game and more like how you would fight in real life if you had the same skills. Also Demikas was never an idiot he was simply a hothead and greedy. You have to remember he was the leader of a major combat guild and while nowhere comparable to Shiroe or William he was a tactician for his fighting teams. |

| Sometimes you don't have to take the obvious way in--we're not all tanks. This was a pretty elegant solution to dealing with three raid bosses at the same time. |

| Awesome, Tetra joining Log Horizon means more screen time for her :D Was it that easy though? I feel like only close friends join the guild. I guess they might've been able to build a good relationship within their weeks together off-screen. How did Demikas find that doorway on his own? I like all the character development that has happened since this raid started though. I'm curious to find out what happens next.. |
