| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Whoa, this episode was pretty serious. When a building that tall suffers damage, you know there's something wrong with it. I liked the episode though and I gotta admit, Kaito is a pretty good shot in air. Expecting Akako to make more appearances later on in the story as well although next episode looks like a date. |

| Shinichi looks very similar to Kaitou. For a moment, I thought they might actually be related. The heist was going pretty smoothly, until Shinichi showed up. He's basically the good version of Kaito Kid; being on the same wavelength of mindset. Apparently, Akako still hasn't lost her wizardry, which is good to see. Such an ability will probably be quite useful in near future. Good episode overall. From my perspective, there wasn't a definitive victor this time around and ended with a fitting tie. |

| This ep made me want to watch Conan again lol. I've had it on hold for quite a while now :P Reminded me of how OP Shinichi is XD I bet his dad taught him how to shoot a gun too XD The Akako scenes were pretty nice additions to the DC counterpart of this ep ^^ And Aoko's flashback was cute :3 Dat Suzuki corps Black star cameo doe XD And the noses this ep were really well drawn :O |

| Wow I remember this Episode in the DC series, it's a flash back in Conan perspective too. Well they make cameo in each other series in the early of the series. They do Look alike, Ran look like Aoko , and Kaito look like Shinichi. There a cameo which Shin mistaken Aoko for Ran. |
| Hehe, Kaito sure was happy when he read about the "legion of fangirls" that Kid has XD. That was quite the message Akako gave Kaito. Damn, the clock owner sure is a dirty bastard. Holy crap, I think that's Shinichi :o LOL, dat fail by Kaito doe... I'm sure now that the reinforcements from HQ is Shinichi XD. HELL YEAH! Shinichi! Oh wait, I should be rooting for Kaito not Shinichi XD. Shinichi's really OP and so is Kaito. Aoko's flashback :3 So the next heist will be the Black Star eh. |

| I wonder how can the police can afford doing such extreme things sometimes :P The helicopters, laser sensors and stuff! Shinichi almost getting Kaito. That was quite the escape! Still, Kaito had his back against the wall. Good thing Kaito foiled the owner's plan. Aoko and Kaito's first meeting, it was nice to see it happen again and Kaito remembering. Aoko really treasures the memory ^^ |

| Wow a really good episode. I can now see the appeal of Conan I feel like wanting to tackle that series now. I hope this isn't a one time thing thing, since that game of cat and mouse felt very intense. Also enjoyed that Aoko flashback. Sent with Mal Updater |

| Do I sense a budding camaraderie between two geniuses on the opposite ends of the law? Loved the way Shinichi kept throwing roadblocks in Kaito's way while the latter manages to narrowly circumvent them. A rather thrilling episode compared to the previous sorcery stuff which pretty much went over my head. I was feeling rather put-off when Akako started chanting at the climax... but was immensely relieved when her manservant curtailed her. It would be such a letdown if this awesome showdown concluded with sorcery. Glad to see a neutral, yet satisfying finish to this. The part where Kaito just recited the entire license number like it was nothing got a good laugh out of me. It was also really sweet of Kaito to plan this heist in consideration of his relationship with Aoko. Overall a really great episode~ |

| Shinichi looked cool. Watch the original Kaito Kid series and you will see that Conan and Kudo appear fairly often - it is set in the same universe after all |

| One of my favorite episodes of Detective Conan and it was just as good this time :) On a sidenote => It's slightly irritating that Shinichi has the same voice as Kuroba(definitely not as noticeable in the dub version I've watched even though both characters were spoken by the same person in the dub, too). |

| That was a really fun episode, seeing that Shinichi of DC is here too. (Shinichi is actually in the original Magic Kaitou manga, so I am not surprised). We need to see more thief vs. detective, either Hakuba or more Shinichi as well. |

In the current timeline of the episode Shinichi already shrunk, because Kaitou is preparing to go after the Black Star, which leads to the first case where Kaitou meets Conan (japanese episode 76). The clock case and the showdown with Shinichi was a flashback. |

| Loved it! Made me wanna watch DC but was a little annoyed that Kaito and Shinichi both sound alike (same seiyuu and all) |
| Pretty much the same with the exception of adding Akako attempting to help and the ending. Then you realize this was basically Yamaguchi trying to catch himself, ha. The preview is very DC too; I suppose those annoying tropes started with MK. Wonderful. |
