So Ginko goes from being just an ordinary Mushisi, to one with talent as a matchmaker. Guess you have to diversify to stay strong in this mushi mushi world.

True xD

Good episode. I actually thought the guy had become crazy, but it was nice to see that later, everyone could see the girl again =)

When Ginko said that she has lost her hobby to disappear again. So, the Mushi is still there but can't be activated because of the presence of emotions and acceptance from the people around? Wrarr! I thought Mushi will be just for physical medications. But also for mental and emotional ones! Hahahahaha! What kind of organism is that? Really?!

After all Seijirou could accept her, without seeing or touching her.
It's kinda nice to see, what true feelings can "reveal" lol

Hmm here a hypothetically question: If you see a string in the sky...would you really grab and pull it?

great episode. I would have been satisfied even if they never showed Fuki return, it would have been tragic, and that's not such a bad ending.

Ah, the river of light appears once again. It was nice twist on the stars being a river too.

The fact that this episode had a happy ending also stuck out in my mind. I loved this one.

could see some symbolism in this one again...most episodes are very meaningful and abstract, and sometimes very deep
"...our faces marked by toil, by deceptions, by success, by love; our weary eyes looking still, looking always, looking anxiously for something out of life, that while it is expected is already gone – has passed unseen, in a sigh, in a flash – together with the youth, with the strength, with the romance of illusions.” - Joseph Conrad ('Youth')

awww what a touching love story. After the guy had the estranged marriage alone and with ginko narrating saying he started talking to his imaginary wife i was so sad thinking the wife never returned to being normal even after the fact the guy accepted her. Thank god at the end it showed she reappeared.

When Ginko was talking about how she needed the will to stay human to not get invisible again, I was sure the ending would be bad. Luckily I was wrong. :D

Beatiful episode... that flashback Seijirou had where he explained to Fuki that stars dont go away as she thought, but are always there and she just can't see them was brilliant...

It was so touching...the way he was going on about life without being able to sense her existence, but loving her all the same.

Loved the ending too.

I was actually kind of disappointed that she did come back. I mean, I'm happy that there was a happy ending, but I also thought it would be good to see the couple getting what they wanted (i.e. wedding, house) when it was all ready too late.

Also, Ginko the matchmaker was made of win.

Hey, another good one. I like the quote that no matter how messy our conditions are, seeing an unchanging presence like the starts calms us a little. I can relate.

And it's just too convenient that when you feel people don't appreciate you, you can just disappear and forget everything. Nah.

Oh god. What an emotionally inspiring great episode.

Loved this ep. I can relate to Seijirou. Gazing at the stars just to relax. :)

Mushi River = Star River. Both are great.

I just thought that he gone crazy when he held his wedding.

I mean, a wedding with just yourself? But yeah, that's how true love works.

Just to express your emotions even if it means pushing away what your eyes see, you have to show it.

That was just so saddening esp. the part where he lived on his own still acting that Fuki was still there.

And the ending paid off his love for Fuki coz she reappeared again. Great ending.

What an awesome story. Ginko = Matchmaker FTW

A gorgeous episode that denotes the genuine virtue of love; to truly love and be loved one must accept the other person exactly as they are.

One mustn’t pay heed of the remarks and criticism from people around.

One must love, even if they “aren’t” there. Otherwise, it’s merely a half-hearted feeling that won’t let to anything.

Happy ending, lovely and meaningful.
I think, then procrastinate.
Therefore, I am.

Nice to have a happy ending every once and a while. From afar the strings look like the building from The Place Promised in Our Early Days. I found that pretty cool.

Once again a perfect episode for a perfect anime. It's already episode 19 though, and I don't want this anime to end ;(. This is one of the best anime I've seen all year and even one of the best I've seen in my life.

Lol wtf? A Mushishi episode with a happy ending? Bout time.

I laughed when Ginko looks up and sees the girl in the tree. He sees some weird shit, but Ginko is actually a really nice guy.

Ahhh, loved this episode! I was happy to get a happy ending. :D It definitely seemed like it was going to turn out badly, at first... and then they surprised us with a rather sweet ending. I'm glad the guy was able to ignore the villagers' opinions, and that Fuki was able to come back - maybe because of that.

I really liked the part where the river of light was shown as almost a reflection to the river of stars in the sky. Very pretty.
