| This is one of those times where the fight will have more impact in the anime. When there's barely any dialogue, it's so easy to rush through the chapter. |

| Well that was short... most of it were flashbacks, kinda doesn't look like an ultimate battle. Something's wrong here. Hopefully anime will make it look better. Also colored pages weren't amazing or anything... Still, can't wait for the next week, hopefully something longer! |

Naruto as a manga has grown way out of scale to just use smarts and jutsus to win fights. Giant energy balls and huge beasts flying around there won't be any strategies in this fight and honestly I think there shouldn't be. This last fight and the last few chapters should concentrate on unfolding the relationship between Naruto and Sasuke and the flashbacks actually help a lot in this sense. Just action panels wouldn't add much to their character. I hope there will be more conversations and less action. Overall I think Kishi did a good job in balancing character development and action in this chapter. Whether the pace is also good it will depend on the final chapters. |
| Not so great chapter IMO. Fight is intense but seeing it wraps up so quickly after that long ass War arc is dissapointing. Shocking ending: Naruto and Sasuke getting married and settling down. Nothing shocking about it really... |
| This chapter wasn't really interesting, yes the fight between Naruto and Sasuke is cool, but with less than 5 chapters, I think Kishimoto should focus on how they will sort this rivalry out. I actually think that Naruto is going to kill Sasuke, or just the fact that Sasuke will die. Well, we'll just see.. BTW, does anyone know when chapter 696 will be out? |

It's almost certainly true, not only because of his quote and Obito's statement, but also because you can kinda see the kanji for "Six" - 六 - on the back of his jacked in "The Last" scan. | What's the problem with Kakashi being the Hokage? Obviously he would choose Naruto as his successor. Then again I guess I can see the disappointment of a lot of people waiting the whole series for Naruto to finally become the Hokage. |

| Great chapter... This fight is sick, I'm loving it I don't care what anybody thinks! The Susanoo and 9 tails bijuu fist was freaking awesome! A lot of cool powers and heavy justus and cool tricks the anime is going to do a really great job with it. I enjoyed this chapter, can't wait to see how the rest of the fight pans out. |
