Oh damn, so Satsuki and Ryuuko are sisters.
And the fact that you can pull someone's heart out is interesting enough.

This episode was awesome, I totally didn't expect this.

I really only notice when Nui's head is give the bobble head treatment but otherwise everything else has been average to amazing. Specifically the action scenes

I think Nui is intentional at this point. Her whole character has always been very 2D and they play a lot with this fact even in combat.

KLK is still a very impressive work in term of presentation and direction. I love that damn show. I also enjoy how it tries to ties everything it does to its clothing thematic even if its a bit of a blur at times.

Also they managed to make Satsuki philosophy make sense in the context of her character with the few last episodes.
Fear is freedom! Control is Liberty! Contradiction is Truth!
Someone who uses fear and control over others/events can achieve ”total freedom and liberty”. If everyone does as you say and everything happens the way you want then you can do has you please. She still seeks control over her own life and this control will bring her liberty. Contradiction is truth ties everything together with her 'the end justify the means' ideology, power that is deemed wrong when used by others become just when bend by her will because her goals are truths.

Wait, so is Matoi Ryugo's other child?!! But wasn't Satsuki already 5 by the time the other child was born? Doesn't make much sense in the timeline if it's true.

Other then that... poor Satsuki D: Seeing her all beaten up and humiliated like that.

So is Isshin the person shown in the flashbacks this episode? Since it was when Kiryuin was little, it could have been him and the flashbacks of Ryuko are when he's older and has left/stopped working for the Kiryuins.

Satsuki was 1 year old when Ragyou was pregnant with Ryuko. This means, that when Ryuko was finally born and experimented on, she was 2.

She remained completely unaware of this all until she was 5, when her father told her the truth about her mother and life fibers. Since then, she's been gathering forces and acting in secret to plan this rebellion.

Which admittedly, could have gone better.

I actually believe that the person in the flashbacks is simply their father. He likely told Isshin the truth about life fibers and told him to take care of Ryuko, because he himself would be targeted by Ragyo sooner than anyone else.

This is why Ryuko believes that Isshin was her father - she never knew anyone else had been in that role.

Twist was pretty decent, the only real explanation as to why Ryuko is completely immune to Life Fibers. Even Satsuki can't use Junketsu for extended periods without being exhausted

So Isshin is still Ryuko's father and they are half sisters? Or this Souichiro is her father? Suppose that'll be cleared up in the coming episodes

Congratulations to those who predicted that they'd be sisters.

It all did pretty much click into place after the second daughter was mentioned.

Wow ,this episode was insane ,a lot of people thought Satsuki and Ryuko are going to turn up to be some kind of cousins/step sisters but I didn't think they are going to be 100% sisters ,so was Isshin some random scientist/friend of Soichirou or was he Soichirou in disguise ,so I guess since Ryuko is fused with life fibers she can regenerate like Ragyou so I doubt we have to fear for her life ,I hope we'll see Satsuki putting on Senketsu and trying to recover Ryuko's heart ,aaaahhhh so many hopes and questions :D

Even thought I have no idea how KlK could end, I have to say it is very interesting to see how it is molding up.

Satsuki took quite the beating and Ryuuko's pretty dead ... are the Four Elites going to save Satsuki's ass and escape ?

And I always thought Satsuki's dad might well be Dr.matoi (aka, ryoko's dad). And while it hasn't been said directly, the chances are very high indeed.

The physical appearance threw me off track a bit, but I've always thought it was very likely, since who else could know enough of the Kyuirin covers empire to know so much about it as t make a kamui? (Some random scientist? Highly unlikely!) And how did he know 'his daughter' had such high life-fiber resistance? (By chance? Highly unlikely!) And that coupled with an unknown father of satsuki...

Now it becomes even more clear: both are scientists, both revolted against ragyo, and both had a daughter who turned out to be Ryoko. It would be a very slim chance if dr. Matoi adopted the girl by mere chance from her father, also a scientist. I knew there was a big chance they would be the same person, and now it's almost a certitude.

Absolutely gets a 5/5 from me. And as always it's a pain in the ass to wait for the next episode :) i really can't wait what will happen next >.<

Wow the second half of this anime is amazing. The reveals are rather predictable (IMO) but it's the execution that makes it so brilliant. Nui finally gets her ass kicked (but I still wonder what makes Nui so powerful, is her outfit life fibers or is she made out of them?), I wish she would have kicked each of the Elite Four's asses personally though. Love her character design but she needs to stop with that playful attitude more often. NO! Satsuki-sama! My favorite person in this anime :'(. Damnit Ragyo she needs to be taught a lesson. Next episode is Elite 4 + Nudist Beach. I wonder what they can do.

Ryuuko completely fused with senketsu, satsuki get's beaten by her mom and at last.... Daughter of mine?!
Does that mean that Ryuuko is the child who "died", is she satsuki's sister or was she just trying to be metaphoric D:

This episode was spectacular!

ME TOO!! Spent the whole episode screaming at the screen. and the last 5 seconds were like "I TOLD YOU SO!"

But this was another amazing episode. Was almost pissed that I didn't hear Blumenkranz through out the episode and then in the most mind blasting moment it comes in. This episode was another perfection.

Expected a little more from Satsuki but meh...I can live with what happened.

They could have ended it with Ryuuko accepting Ragyo as her mother, killed Satsuki, Mato and the devas and them happily living ever after. Or they could have had the butler, Satsuki's uncle, command Ragyo to stand down, and her actually doing so - after all, even today we still live in a mostly patriarchic society. Or the dog is actually Ragoy, and the Ragyo we saw was only clothing.

Or they would show us that the whole events didn't "actually" happen, but where just the imagination of an ordinary girl, living her ordinary liven, and hating her ordinary school. Oh, and she is forced to go there by her mother. Her father doesn't care much, he is never there anyways, always in the office or on a business trip.

No matter what, there is always someone who "saw it coming".
