| This was truly a nightmare I didn't think it would happen, and then Pippin got killed. That confirmed that a massacre was happening. Holy shit, when you thought something wouldn't happen, it happened. Poor Guts...he could only watch...fucked up man. Damn, I need to know what happens next...how did Guts get out of that hell? The 4 hands of god? So many questions...anyone know if they will continue this as an anime series? |

| so....after sitting on this for a while....I'm now REAALLLYY frustrated by the fact that there probably won;t be an anime continuation T__T I'm not gonna read the manga, it seems way too drawn out (sorry if that offends any fateful manga readers) am I just gonna have to accept the ending as a massacre where Guts lives on?! |

I was too unsatisfied with the anime ending to just leave it at that. I had to know what happened so I read the manga (not all, just a few chapters.) I will just try to say it as short as I can. After all that madness A demon in skeleton form rode on a horse and rescued Guts and Caska. He took them to a safe cave or whatever. It seemed Caska was in such shock she stopped speaking and responding to anyone or anything. She was just blank in the manga. Guts was okay, he eventually got his eye patch. In this safe cave he met that little kid with blonde hair I forgot his name. He was part of the hawkes (was that the gang name?) Guts actually woke up from a long sleep of recovery and saw him. The kid explained a few things. The demon skeleton guy would come back sometimes to tell Guts everything about what happened. (I think it was the same world just now full of demons and monsters etc) don't wanna get into that. Basically Guts was just hanging around the cave with Caska and some others. He kept trying to talk with her but every time he tried she would scream. So he just let her be. But she was safe that's all he cared about. Now here's the weird part, she was pregnant and sometime into the manga she had a demon baby. Guts wanted to kill it immediately but she blocked him. The more I got into the manga the more it became supernatural with demons and fairies. I stopped after that. I just wanted to know what happened with Guts and Caska. Oh and sometimes you would see Griffith in some sort of castle or whatever giving orders. I had a few quick looks into later chapters. I guess they met again in the future to fight and Caska maybe gets her shit together. Not sure. Oh and also you get to see how he got his prosthetic (is that how you say it?) arm with arrows and sword (I think he gets a new sword. Forgot) from that blacksmith friend he stayed at (remember that house he stayed at in the mountain or whatever? Yeah anyway. That's about all I can remember. |

| So Griffith is gay batman now? Oh well, I'm not surprised tbh. But Guts is such a boss! With virtually no chance at all (except a miracle) he's not giving up and is slaughtering those demons like an angry & furious lion instead of running away (in random direction). THE BOSS! |

| This series was solid all the way though but I thought those last few episodes were fantastic. Didn't mind the open ending, it wasn't a bad place to end it. |

| The Fuck scene with Griffith and Caska was way better in the Movie adaption. But I like Guts gruesome fight in this series. Its best to read the manga since it has all the information and backstory, yet I now realize it doesn't explain much about the god-hand and how they became kinsmen. Its sad to say this but.. yeah everyone go read the fucking manga for more Berserk! |

| one of the most intense anime ive ever seen ending is so fucked up it reminded me of the movie pinhead but 10x more surreal and crazy closer to the serbian film in terms of how fucked up it is though, pinhead is like childs play in comparison i think i need to watch something happy now because my i feel like someone just killed my whole family and forced me to watch |
| So. None of the important troop members die in the course of 3 years of war. But then, in the last episode, they are all killed except the three main characters. Where is Zodd? Why did the throw his sword to Guts? In the end they have to show a vulnerable and naked Caska. Wow, so surprised -NOT. What's up with that witch? Who is she? Another thing left unanswered (considering it's going to be answered) cause they ended the anime on the climax. Griffith needed more background. It's a REALLY disappointed ending, in my honest opinion. I think they could've done better with 25 episodes. |

| Everything after Guts left was just a big bowl of WTF is going on and I loved it! Though I didn't like how Casca didn't instantly die. Everyone else gets eaten but she gets some weird hentai fetish? This ending is unfinished but since I was already planning on reading the manga after completing the anime I'm not bothered by it. I really liked this anime as a whole though. Guts is one of the most badass characters and Griffith is just about if not equally amazing. Time to start reading the manga now that this is over. 10/10 |

| Well. That almost had me fooled for 23 episodes. And then, it was time for the SURPRISE KILL 'EM ALL GRIMDARK NTR (here, let my demons hold you down while I stare deeply into your eyes and rape your girl, "because now I am a demon trololo INFINITE EVIL") "ending". I've put off watching or reading this shit for years, had to go through people CONSTANTLY telling me how "fucking amazing 1000/10" Berserk is, and THIS is what it was? Christ. Honestly, I'd take even Evangelion's powerpoint ending over whatever that shit was supposed to be. And no, that ending left me with little-to-no desire to read the manga. Before anyone says anything - I have NO issue with crazy, bloody, clusterfuck endings. I loved End of Evangelion. I thought the ending of the Eureka Seven manga was better than the anime. This, though. This left a really fucking bad taste in my mouth. |
| Wow... that was some extreme hardcore heavy metal NTR right there. A freaky ending where I didn't know what to expect (except for Guts' survival). Now I have so many questions in my head that I'll probably have to go and watch the film trilogy soon too. Like how the hell did he dig himself out of that hell? I was almost delighted to see Griffith be so... vibrant again :D Sure, he murdered all of his underlings and cucked Guts by raping Casca, but he was such a miserable sight before that I can't help but root for him juuust a little. I hope that he and Guts can bro out later and forget this whole Hell mess. Bros before hoes, right? |
| Wow that was one hell of an ending. Not mad at all, thought it was a nice and horrifying closure at the same time - really grotesque and brutal stuff going on there. Really tragic for Guts and Casca, and damn Griffith...Femto. Definitely one of my top favourites now. This series has just been one amazing, beautiful, touching, brutal, tragic and thought-provoking ride~ So many philosophical touches and it's been a while since anime or something has made me think so much. Can't wait to start the manga ^^ |

| This was sensational, one of the best endings since I've watched Texhnolyze. It's intense, dark, very gorish and make me know what Guts it's gonna do and how he will escape this nightmare. Poor Casca, Pippin, Corkus, Judeau... Griffith succumb to the demon side... ): This was indeed very good! 9/10. |
| Good anime really shitty ending tbh. Guts got NTR'd. I really feel sorry for him. I really only like Casca and guts in the series. The kids were annoying and it was pretty obvious from the start greifth was gonna be the bad guy at the end just by looking at him. I hope the douche bag dies. |
