| The Kyousuke and Riki confrontation was great. I was expecting them to play 'the world where nothing happened' but the new ost was also good. The next episode is the one I've been waiting for a while. |

| I must admit that this episode left me shocked. I had my suspicions of who mandabas these letters, and it was Kyousuke, I knew it! Rin :( where this Kurugaya? :/ PD: I want to appear Saya Tokido =) |

| Just a random comment passing by... When I was playing the VN, I was quite sure that Komari was the one who was sending the letters. That is because she was TOO optimistic, it just kinda made me suspicious. You know, happy people in stories tends to be the saddest ones or the most behaved are the villains in the end. Anyway... when it was revealed that it was Kyousuke, my fucking world collapsed lol. I didn't suspect Kyousuke even for a second. Talk about how dense I was. |

Kyousuke : thats not what i ask,what i ask was are whether you had figured out the secret of this world? this scene realy bring back my memories when first time read the vn, and when i thought kyousuke is so damn chuuni back there. poor Riki, but sadly the real storm not comming yet. |

I was surprised at Masato's reply to riki as well, it's as if he knows what Kyousuke's plans are... Likely Kengo should know too since she's one of the original members, but need confirmation though Kyousuke's laugh felt like he was laughing at everyone that's trying to figure out this secret of the world. :( |

| Hmm great episode. The scene when Rin angry and yelled "youre disgusting idiot". That face and her angry voice.. it makes me think "Poor Rin..." But, the storm had yet to come. Hope the anime can do a refrain arc well. As this will be as sad and as good as Clannad After Story. |

| Episode ended with a nice twist, tho how did Kyousuke disappear like that next week should be interesting. And i wonder what type of explanation they come up with. That song at the start when Riki and Rin where together somehow reminds me of Zelda the Ocarina of Time. |

| Finally got around to watch episode 4 and 5 in one go today, and damn I was not let down by the episodes, it was so well done. The big plot twist was revealed that Kyousuke was indeed the guy behind those tasks and he keeps asking the question the anime viewers just want to know by now..."Do you know the secret of this world?" I was a bit sad to see they skipping out of the "Bzzz! Wrong answer" practice where the gang takes Rin to learn how to address the adults properly and mannerly, though I guess it couldn't be helped after the show was confirmed to only have 13 episodes and they had to cut some out, though the episode was great none the less! I feel the anime is doing a great job on portraying Kyousuke in the anime, and though he keeps dropping hints after hints for the anime viewers, I can't wait for the final episodes myself. I just hope they don't mess it up, and especially Faraway. The scene where Riki gets tangled and had to let go of Kyousuke's hand was literally adapted from the Vn, and it was great, and now from seeing the next episode titles, there is ONE moment I'm looking forward to that episode and its going it better be adapted well. | I don't really see why Rin accepted the exchange program, or why people pushed her to. I understand it could help her mature and become more independent or whatever, but it isn't like she got a scholarship to some prestigious academy or got accepted to a university in a different prefecture. The higher ups in the school system just asked her a favor. I would have said no in a heartbeat. The point of the exchange seems way too depressing, and I don't even think that it would work. Having a few new kids in the school wouldn't change that a ton of kids died. It would feel like they were just trying to replace the dead kids. |

The focus isn't on the literal plot purposes of helping out the other kids at the school. It's about Rin and growing up, and Kyousuke is clearly taking advantage of the situation. Riki realized at the scene with Kyousuke that the goal was to help Rin grow more mature, and that's the focus of this subplot of Rin 2. Riki's monologue before it and his realization goes hand in hand with the continuation of his realization the next night in the courtyard. "She should continue to experience new things, and keep moving forward." - before the scene. Rin started out really shy in the beginning of the show, and she's been steadily growing. Rin didn't initially like the idea to go to the school, but she said herself that she was considering it. The main questionable part is Riki's behavior towards Rin, and how he pushes her to go by calling her a coward. Some reasoning from the VN: Riki's thoughts: //I'll just have to keep treating her harshly //Then she'll lose her temper and end up going. Riki to Rin: "You won't break up with me, though." "You have no other choice. "I mean, you're a coward." At 16:15, before he replies to Rin with "You really are going to back out after all?" you can see Riki prepare himself to say those harsh things. Also, it's not that they were trying to replace the dead kids. The exchange is just that, an "exchange", so both schools would wind up with the same amount of kids before an after. I think the whole idea would be that people with cheerful dispositions could help cheer people up is a decent idea. It's psychologically stimulating to see new kids transfer to your school. But yeah, the actual content of the Sister School plot could be considered as much of a tool for Kyousuke's plan as any of the Secret of the World missions. |

At the end of Rin 1, Riki decides to make Rin stay, permanently, and the route ends with her not going. Rin 2- starts where Riki decides to let Rin go to the sister school. The Lennon scene with Kyousuke is part of Rin 2. Without spoiling too much, the revelation is supposed to be that Riki and Rin are halting their own development by not letting Rin go to the sister school, which will let the events of LB Refrain episode 6 happen. Part of the theme of Little Busters is growing up. In the VN, you can do Rin 1, but you're unable to progress to Rin 2 without doing all the other routes. It makes more sense by the end of the story, but basically, Riki and Rin aren't prepared for the events of Rin 2 and Refrain until they've completed all the other routes. It has a game-based purpose as you're literally unlocking Rin 2 by finishing all the other routes, and it has a story purpose in that Riki and Rin had to do all those missions and heroine routes to grow stronger, more sociable, and more confident, and Riki must let Rin go to the school, and Rin must push herself to go even though she's reluctant. |

If Kud really has been killed off I demand a Tomoya After style Kud Wafter OVA! ¬¬ Damn AB! style disappearances. Besides that, another great episode. I can't figure out Kyousuke's stance towards Riki though. I can understand him trying to get Riki and Rin together and I can understand his reasons for sending Rin away, but I don't yet understand why he would try to achieve both simultaneously. |
