| lol I love that girl who ate like with no manners then slept immediately. My favorite scene would be when the top goons tried to prevent blood from hitting their most respected person and their shocked gasped as they failed lol. If this was a classic shounen it would take about 100 or 200 episodes for the anime to reach this power up episode. Omg all that plot. |

| The story is pretty standard revenge fare (so far, they have of course 24 episodes to make it more meaningful) but I loved the old school animation and designs with the scratchy hand drawn texture. Feels raw. And the energy I got from it was something I haven't seen since Redline. Well done indeed Trigger, it seems like it will be quite a ride. |

| ANIME IS LITERALLY SAVED. I mean I knew it was going to be good because it's Trigger and has the same director as Gurren Lagann but OH JESUS FUCK THIS WAS AMAZING. Because you have to realize TTGL is one of the most overrated animes in history. Any type of feel and resemblance to it will give most people an orgy. |

| Woah, didn't expect this level of awesomeness. I wasn't convinced from the PV's thus far so I didn't expect much, but this was one bombshell of an episode! I love the concept the Goku uniforms, the Star rankings and the scissors. Animation was all over the place, some scenes are just breathtakingly beautiful and smooth and then others are jittery and plain ugly, even if it is for comical effect. I really didn't like the revealing sailor uniform at the end though, mainly because the sexuality of it feels so out of place in what its shown up to now. The story so far was great and has me invested in future eps. Good show. |

Dunno why people are loving this. im sorry but if you have fairy tail as your favorite anime you have no right to call any other anime crappy. it seems like everyone complaining about the episode had some sort of weird expectation that this would be some deep show from the start when it was obvious since it was announced that this would be an action oriented over the top comedy. everyone else complaining just seems to be afraid of boobs... |

| Very interesting, I was expecting it to be more serious though. I totally forgot about Trigger's previous works. Anyways it was a good first episode. Liking the art and animation, I hope that it will have an over the top climax just like TTGL. And I hope she gets some less revealing clothes. |
