| Yay finally got to see the first episode! It was a really nice start. Good job at being loyal to the manga. Staz is as always hilarious. Ohsaka Ryouta does a great job as Staz (expect I always think Maou Sadao when he speaks...orz). Fuyumi is so cute and shy. I actually like her very much. Am I the only one who likes the bright colors and the animation style? I don't know why but I really like them. It gives a kind of unique look for Blood Lad. But I was also surprised that it looked like this from the PV since I've read the manga and it is darker. The OP was really nice. I liked it. But I was surprised byt the fact that they showed so much in the OP. I've heard that this will be only 10 episodes and the OP shows stuff for over 20 episodes. Oh well, we'll see. The part in the OP where Staz and Fuyumi holded hands was so adorable! The ED was nice. Expect it made me think of my least favorite thing from the manga: Can't wait to see more Blood Lad! |

| That was rather cool, some pretty hilarious moments occured, I liked the animation too. Didn't have much expectations for this one, but it's a nice surprise. Definitely will continue watching. |

| Love Staz's punchy attitude! This also carries through to every element of the show, the colourful world really grabbed my attention. Loved the ED. |

| Some people said the comedy was cheesy... well, maybe I'm just a really impressionable person because I laughed my butt off. I've been watching some not-so-great anime recently so I found the humor to be very refreshing. The references to dragonball and Final Fantasy... (what?! They have that many titles? There's nothing "final" about it!) I definitely believe this could be in the running for one of the best anime of the season just based on how well the introduction episode was executed. Blood Lad is sitting on an 8 on my list. :) |

| I didn't see much not to like about this. I really, really love the art style and bright colors. It's not generic, and seems to really fit with the show's atmosphere. This is something that I will be watching. |

| Will there really be only 10 episodes? They reveal quite a lot of characters from later chapters, I sense some butchering. The first episode wasn't bad, Staz really remind you of Maou, he even has his voice though I already read the manga so actually Maou remind me of Staz. Wished it was darker, being colorful doesn't sit well with me. |

| Clannad is "contemporan" and there are not as many people that watched Clannad as DBZ , Clannad is just an ant , an insect compared to the views of DBZ and popularity . I've watched most of Clannad too , damn that anime keeps disappearing from my list , but it didnt came out of my mind . But I dont resemble Clannad as collecting mystical balls...... |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| It doesn't compare to Hataraku Maou-sama. :( But on it's own, this really isn't so bad. It'll be interesting to see where this goes. |
| The anime feels like a shounen anime (like Bezeelbub) so I don't get a feel of it being like HaMaou. The show is funny but I would say HaMaou is even funnier (and that is before the amazing troll face sakuga came in). Anyway, I noticed more similarity with Mondaiji except their being of the same length (10 eps) - we have Kuro-usagi and Asuka again as the main cast in this show! |

| lol @ the people comparing this to Hataraku Maou-sama This anime isn't going to be like it at all, it's going to be (most likely) only 1 episode in the human world (if my memory isn't too faulty), and the rest is going to be spent mostly in the demon world, so the comedy isn't going to be based around culture shock like Hataraku Maou-sama (well maybe a tiiny bit on Fuyumi's side, but not more than that) Anyways, I think this was a pretty good first episode, the characters were introduced nicely, we got a pretty good feel of the show (well at least I did) and it was really well adapted from the manga It was a bit on the bright side (like almost everyone before me has mentioned) but hopefully it will just help the dark moments seem darker, oh well I'm not complaining 8 ) |

| I thought it'd be great. My friends said "oh man best show this season lmao so good". But yeah. Pretty sub-par as far as I'm concerned. Hoping it takes a turn for the better next episode. |
| I've read about 2 chapters of the manga prior to watching this, so I can't say if it's a good or bad adaptation of the manga, to be honest, but I enjoyed the experience overall. I definitely enjoyed how light hearted it was for a first episode, but you can definitely tell that more darker things will (or should) come out later on. The characters are also interesting. Definitely a keeper for this season. |

| Lovely voice for Fuyuumi. May'n still rocks with her songs. Fuyuumi is kinda ditzy though, i mean she didnt knew how she got to the demon world at the start when theres such a huge black door there and that she didnt knew she has died herself. |
| The story is likeable, the art-style is edgy (most of the characters look memorisable, also I really like the backgrounds)... But I don't like the girl. She looks bland, lacks character, and I don't like her voice either. Hope this'll improve with some character development. |
