| God damn lol those pirates got their asses vaporized so fast they didn't even get a chance to say oh sh-. Liked how nice that scene with the lighting and sparkling water looked. And the way they use these galaxy currents for power is very interesting. |

Slow, but methodical introduction to the plot and character interactions. I love how the rest of the show is still a very big question mark and it really makes me look forward to the next episode. | Decent episode, although I can feel the cliche "you're too strong and uncontrollable, it's scary and we never asked you to kill everyone :(" speech coming next episode. To which the main will respond "what!? I saved these people and this is what I get!! Hmph!" If that happens, it'll set back their relations an episode or two, as it always does. I hope I'm wrong. |

| While it looks like your ordinary shonen-mecha theme. But we know what Gen Urobutcher is capable of. So far, its fine. The story developed right. Not too slow, but not too fast. Even though it feels not natural (not "unnatural") and a bit linear. |

When this show hears about the other shows competing for viewership. Why is it not next week yet? Anyone know who is behind the soundtrack? Because it is heavenly. With the writer I have faith that this is the path we are going to go down and not the former, I think how they react will tell a lot about how good this animation can and will be. Urobuchi is behind it. He was behind Madoka. I don't think I need to explain further. =D |

| Bad time to be a pirate when Chamber and Ledo is in the town bitches! Good episode, it was chill and beautiful to watch. The conversations in this episode was hilarious as well. And in the end, we finally get some good action and shows how powerful this machine is. I can only say for this that this won't help Ledo and Chamber's relationship for the human. I mean seeing such terrifying power could only make them scared. They are, after all, humans.  Some good anime with high budget this season, I 'm lovin' it! |

| This anime clicked. Urobuchi loves his targets disappear into thin airs. The moment Ledo said "Eliminate them", he lost a lot of his effeminate side from what Amy thought of him to be. 5/5 . This anime gets a 9/10 at this stage! |

| I'm loving this anime more and more. Amy trying to negotiate and with Red was so cute and pretty funny. I like how Chamber acts a translator and a translation pops up for Red. I absolutely love it when Chamber gets some action. Red took out those pirates like they were nothing; they simply vanished. That probably shocked the people and made them more afraid Red. Need the next episode now! :D 5/5 |

| Mmm. So much eye candy in this show. And oh, dat delicious character design. Worthy of repeated mention. Ahem. Anyway, so it's true that Amy's people are the descendants of surviving humans who remained on Earth after a presumable Ice Age-like apocalypse. Earth is now truly a water world devoid of any dry land after all the ice melted. Continued contact between the two separated branches of humanity remain an interesting spectacle. I wonder if Ledo will manage to learn Amy's native language, or vice versa in the course of the story. Also, that was a demonstration of complete technological superiority - incredible precision and overwhelming firepower. The pirates were reduced to nothing but glowing particles. I have a feeling it might not go too well for Ledo, though. The skeptical adults in the fleet might see him much more of a threat now that they've seen what he and his mech is capable of. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the next episode. |

| Pirates are pirates. So this is a healing anime? While I wouldn't mind that at all, Madoka was supposed to be a regular magical girl anime... Either it's war going rampart on a planetary scale, or aliens/humans invade the world from outer space. By the way, nice tech power. With that kind of firepower, it's like you nuking an ant... Also, judging by the fact the Earth is still intact and has a liquid ocean with a breathable atmosphere, the timescale must be within a billion years. Either that, or the model of the lifecycle of the Sun was inaccurate or the orbit of the Earth somehow shifted. |
| So place your bets - how long till the little girl's brother ends up dying a horrible death? Overall this was BRILLIANT episode. This show is officially the best show this season has. I am sucker for post-apocalyptic settings and scifi interactions between hi-low technology levels, so this is even more awesome for me I love how realistic the language barrier exploration has been and how overpowered Red's mecha is compared to "earth tech", but frankly I do not see a lot of happiness down the line of this show as its quite clear that REd crashing there will most likely bring the galactic war down there too.. 5/5 |

| Just noticed on a rewatch on how realistic they handled the aftermath of Red "saving" everyone - no shonen-action-hero-cheering, no happiness, just realization of just how FUCKED everyone would have been had Red turned the weapons against them and how close they all were to dying. |
