| I almost cried at the end of this episode. Why Michel and not Ozma ? One of the best character is now gone... Ozma and Cathy, why didn't you call the president before running away ? He came back to face another death. 0_o |

| Wow this episode was really weak until the last five minutes. I hate the idea of Sheryll singing in a shelter for refugees, I find it absolutely ridiculous, unneeded and unrealistic, but still it was really well-done so I can forgive that. All the clichés "Ranka trips and falls on the ground" and such, the failed attempt at killing the president (what is this Vajra doing here of all places?) and misunderstandings in the beginning of the episode between Ranka/Alto/Sheryll made me feel like the scriptwriter for this ep was a complete amateur. BUT the last scene with Michel was good, very well executed and not over-dramatic. Just for that, this episode was worth seeing. Next episode will probably be good with Klan turning mad too. |

| I think this is one of the best single epixodes of the year. This episode furthers my adoration for Sheryl and equally my loathing of Ranka. It such a ridiculous attempt to make a "moe" character (I think I finally understand that term). She sticks out like a sore thumb visually and figuratively compared to the depth in almost every other character in this show. |

| This was one of the best episodes I've so far, I didn't want Michel to die, and I didn't think the president would get killed after not getting shot in the begging, goes to show, if you need to do somebody in you have to do it yourself ex: Leon. I wonder whos next on the death list since its in a war mode I don't know what to expect anymore. |

| This has to be the best episode of the series so far. Sheryl's Diamond Crevasse was amazing it was sad but good. and wow this show really knows how to kill of somebody, the writers made it real emotional especially with sheryl's song in the background. R.I.P Michael, if you really are gone which may be the case. |

| Wow.. why can't all the episodes be this good. I guess that's impossible. Should've seen the look on my face when Micheal was stabbed.. thank god I didn't read any blogs for this show. That ladies and gentlemen: is how you do a death scene. Amazing... I used to like Ranka more, but the last few episodes I have grown to respect Sheryl as a character. Because, she obviously gives a damn about the people. Remember, she is "dying" so to do that song was pretty powerful emotionally. She's the best character of the show, IMO. |

| Rewatching this episode made me feel fantastic, drama in motion. Michael's death wasn't just a common death, it was one of the best death scenes I've felt... not seen, the drawing was poor, but anyway. Great episode. |

| Best episode yet. I very much disliked Sheryl in the beginning, but now she shaped up to be my favorite character in this series. Michel wasn't very impressive up until now either, but man, what a death scene. GAR at its purest. |

| One reason why I watched this series was because I wanted to know why everybody said diamond crevasse was such a sad song and why it had such a sad vibe to it. Now I know, it was made for this scene. Macross Frontier pulled a heart breaking moment, it has done what other great anime has too achieved, Clannad AS, Ef, Aria, and now this. The emotions I felt and have so longed for; emotions that reminded me once again what being human is all about. Though a fictional character, RIP Michael. |
