lol, Yosuga got this series beat on incest by a long shot. anyway, i can't actually see the resemblance. Yosuga seemed to have more detail than this. and i don't think who did the background ha anything to do with the content

Agreed. It feels like the story is just getting started. It would be interesting to watch how their lives progress over the next few years (there doesn't seem to be many anime shows that cover a large time frame).

Nice, happy ending. I cheered for a moment when Yuuta asked Raika to be his "wife" for a day for Parents' Day. And the reactions of Nimura and Sako were priceless. Too bad he didn't actually pop the question, but then again, that'll be skipping a couple of vital relationship phases.

Hina may not have her real parents anymore, but she's still the darling of the neighborhood, and all those people won't allow her to have a lonely Parents' Day at school. In the end, Yuuta continues his daily fight as their "Papa", but this time, with the approval of their relatives, and support in the form of letting them live again in the old Takanashi house.

Hina took it pretty well because shes still young. Its better to let them know while they barely know what the term "not coming back" even means in my opinion. Overall, very fun watch, I'm sad its all over now. :(

Hoping for a second season, they can so make one! xD

Overall score: 7/10

Great end to a decent series. Raika was the most fun character to watch!

It's a shame we didn't get to see much of Yuuta's sister Yuri. She seemed like a great person, able to take care of her brother all by herself and thus becoming a role model to Yuuta and influencing some of his actions. The scene where she announced herself as his entire family was ace!

Nice ending episode, open ending so there might be a season 2.
I liked this show because they didn't focus on service, although I found the story to be weak (but very emotional).
I'll give it 7 our of 10.

I wonder why it took so long for them to move into the house? Were the other family members standing in the way somehow? That would explain whatever that legal document was in the credits.

Its too bad the wedding to the only non-pedophile option seems to be a temporary affair. This series would have been so much better without the lolicon aspects, even with the highly predictable second rate storytelling.

Decent series. Wasnt liking the fanservice to being with, but at least it toned down as the season went on.

Looks like they moved back to Yuri sans place. I hope for a season 2.

I absolutely loved this episode!
The scene when everyone showed up to watch Hina was so sweet, and then ending the show with a surprise party like the one in first episode was great.
I laughed a few times as well, mainly when Hina was telling Yuuta to open the door at the end XD

Now I can't decide should I give this show a 10 or 9, I'm not very critical so I'll probably end up giving a 10 first and might change my mind later.

well i thought also she would become his wife but was suprised it was just for one day

i hope for a season 2 but i think that is out of the question since the end was not really giving them much options to make another 12 episode or more season but who knows

i don't know where i readed it if it was on here or on the site i watched but some one sad something about the censoring wel first of all there was not that much to be censored + it is a serie for 13 year and older so ofcourse its censored >.>

8/10

i just wished they should have put some edge onto this anime like disciplining scenes and emo scenarios. its too innocent for a parenting anime. too short and needs more original character designs.

So the ending doesn't imply a second season [It said Bye Bye in the last artwork scene] however it does show them moving to the original house, could they continue from where the novel left off. From what I heard the anime (all 12 episodes) basically covers only the first volume of the novel, if thats true were missing ALOT.

I hope your right, I loved this especially the music, and not forgetting Hina's version of Twinkle Twinkle little star.

i understand everyone's happy about a happy ending and all that, but realistically(not like it matters) none of those present problems went away...they're still financially and mentally exhausted

Did you forget the old guy saying they will help him now since they are not against it any more. And they were given the family home to live in. But no not all of the problems went away did you expect some half cocked fairy tale ending like that? Arn't you the one talking about realistic? The moral of the story is they are moving forward. Which is just fine if the conflict was a contest they had to win than it need to go on till the contest is over but since this anime was about the getting over the loss and becoming a family it ended as such.

It was definitely a nice anime I would love to see a second season but well I'll have to do with one special! Still a good anime in general 7/10

Great ending. Nice to see they moved back in their old house which makes sense since he's officially their dad now.

I know it's a long shot, but I hope there will be a season 2! Judging from what the anime covered though, another season should show more development with Raika x Yuuta which I really want to see.

Raika would make a perfect mom and wife.

Just where is season 2???? I don't think them living in a huge house is that far-fetched. As the legal guardian (officially it seems) Yuuta should have access to the inheritance of the three girls. Their relatives seems well-equipped financially especially the uncle who was willing to take in all 3 of them. If all the relatives chipped in, they should be able to cover the girls' living expenses and perhaps electricity/water bills. They have learned how to cook by themselves so they already know how to save a lot of money when it comes to food and there's still Yuta's part time jobs too.

They signed the house to Yuuta, and moved back in. I think the end was okay. I thought the parents were going to come back because they only spent 30 seconds on their death during episode 2. It felt like there had to come back due to that. I guess they didn't want to spend more time on it because there were only 12 episodes.

Aw that was great . Loved this anime <3

In the end, everything is back to normal. Yuuta and his family move back to the old house, and everyone get's to stay together.

It's too bad there isn't a second season. I would've really liked to see some later parts of the manga adapted to an anime.

All's well that ends well. I guess who Yuuta ends up with is left to the viewer's imagination. But I slightly prefer Sora over Raika.

I've been really wanting to watch this series for some time now and I honestly don't why I wanted to watch it to be fair.

Raika, as a character I thought she fell flat for me. Hina is a toddler with a voice. Miu and Sora are the most interesting of the cast and at the beginning I just absolutely hated the voice of Yuuta, it was just so "bah" and boring....I can't believe the same seiyuu does the voice for Gajeel in Fairy Tail...really weird but that just goes to show he's got a variety that he can display but for this show it wasn't great.

I'm not sure how much of the light novel was animated but I reckon it wasn't much because I've heard some particular developments happening in volume 4, so I reckon they've only adapted about 1 or 2 volumes. I know that the light novel and mangas are quite popular in Japan, so this might get a 2nd season in the future.

Anyways, the anime wasn't what I expected, I kind of what to see more serious drama but this adaptation was on the softer side of things and light-hearted, which isn't such a bad thing.

When I watched this, I was thinking of the Malaysian Airlines flight MH370, I wonder how the light novel will end but the missing 200 in light novel, I reckon their dead because apparently over a year has passed in the current light novels and no clues as to what happened suggests they are gone for but you can't really rule that when it comes to fiction.

This anime is cute but besides showing a few ideas of what it takes to be a guardian, I don't think this anime's first season really goes beyond that point.

I'm giving this a 7/10 score. It's a cute show that really doesn't have any major developments, I reckon if they adapted more of the light novel or made this a 2-cour anime to have time for some major events, the anime would have been more interesting but if it was just going to stay the way it was and be a 2-cour anime, I think I might have dropped this anime.

I'll be watching the OVA episode later today, need a break from the constant cuteness being shoved in your face.

I was kind of hoping their parents will magically come back in the last episode. I mean yeah this story is about Yuuta and the girls but seeing Hina cry like that broke my heart. Isn't she powerful enough to summon orbs of light to make her parents come back? T____T

But yeah I'm still glad things worked out for them and I'm happy their relatives aren't the "mwahaha we'll take possession of your house!" d-bags. Seems like they really care for the kids. The girls are really lucky to have Yuuta...wait no. They're really lucky to have Yuri as a mom and her having raised Yuuta as a good man.

8/10.

Fucking twinkle twinkle little star.
I was afraid that creepy pedophile would show up and ruin the episode, and he did. One of the most unnecessary character I've seen in anime.
And Sora>Raika. Also, Sora calling Yuuta Onii-chan all the time is only going to make it harder for him to notice her.
Overall, this turned out much better than I thought, and is a very underrated show indeed.
