| ooook my current opinion of this can be resumed to a word... strange.... in all aspects XD... and did he came in the end? not really sure i'll watch another 2 or 3 episodes to decide if i like it or not.... but this is definitely one of the few "out of the box" animes of this season... |
| This show was fascinating. I really dont know how else to describe this. What a unique twist to a seemingly generic premise. Debussy's "Clair de lune" towards the end of the episode was a great a touch. It fit the mood incredibly well |
| As someone who's struggled with gender identity their whole life, I have a feeling this is going to hit home in several areas. Also, to everyone who's spouting "derp I can't tell who's a boy and who's a girl" that's kinda the point. Anyone and everyone should be treated to the deconstruction of gender as a social construct. |

| I rather liked it. I remember trying to read the manga a year ago and I got bored so I stopped, but this was rather nice. The backgrounds are gorgeous and I rather liked the character designs. |
| I didn't think it was that bad. I don't think it was too hard to follow at all, though me having read the manga probably doesn't help in this case. Anyways, I'm hoping it stays good! I have no clue how it's going to end with this 11 episode thing. Probably going to be one of those 'and life continued tralala the end' endings. Huuh. Well anyways, I liked it. Hooray for curious slice of life animes! |

| Nice and tranquil with beautiful artwork and animation. It definitely has potential judging by this episode and its themes, but character development and overall emotional realism will be determinant of whether or not this is good. |

| Ok: the art and the ost are amazing, but I got a lil bit confused while watching the episode. I don't really like the Cross Dressing subject, but this approach is completely different. Looking forward for the next episode :). |

| Right of the bat, this anime isn't going to to give the manga justice (specially since it's only 11 episodes and start volumes into the manga) The first episode feels all over the place... and to be honest, I'm disappointed... I'll still watch it,since I really love the manga, and I'm somewhat curious to how exactly the development in the anime is going to unfold, but yeah, so far, disappointed =/ |

| -I dislike the main character's voice but I guess it fits a crossdressing guy. -I facepalmed only once. -I will continue watching, withstanding the shivers I get when he starts talking about wearing his sister's clothes. |

IIRC they actually got kids their ages to do the voice acting instead of the usual group of 26-year old women. But yeah, I have to kind of agree with you. | They made a lot of references to the manga, it would prove confusing to viewers who haven't read it. This first episode was basically a summary of everything before middle school. It was very pretty, though.. |
| Hoping there was a reason to start the anime so late in the storyline. I wasn't disappointed, but it is kind of obvious that this was made for the fans of the manga. Hoping they make things a little more clear as the show goes along. But for a huge fan of the manga I'm happy happy happy. Though some of the voices didn't match how I thought some of the characters would sound like. There are some differences from the manga, but I think this way is a little better. I got to lol at him being caught, and Chiba throwing a tantrum. ~ |

| I actually wasn't confused, but I mustve been paying close attention o_o (I haven't read the manga so...) This seems like it will be a litte...deep? I don't know I'm hoping this turns out good, because so far it seems interesting :) the feel of this is kinda nice, but also a little odd, I'll have hope ^ ^ |

| I was planning to read the manga, but I'm glad that I didn't. Knowing that this is made by the same author who made Aoi Hana I can see why some of the anime viewer could think this plot a little bit disturbing. I wasn't confused at all, but I can see how watchers could be confused since Nitori looks like a girl, Yoshino looks like a boy and they both like or want to cross-dress among other things. I love how his friends are aware that he's cross-dressing and are ok with it. That just shows that a true friend will support you no matter what or how you are. The art and music were top notch. Hearing Claire de Lune playing near the end was just marvelous. |

| Nice to read through the comment and see I wasn't the only one finding myself quite confused at times. XD It all seemed to come into focus at the end of the episode though, except the fact I watch the episode literally 5 minutes ago and can't remember their names. DX Also, is anyone else reminded of http://myanimelist.net/anime.php?id=634 (Koi Kaze)? The artwork is looks extremely similar, not to mention they both deal with difficult topics in a mature way. Whilst this doesn't appear to be as controversial as Koi Kaze, I'm holding out for a good anime here. |

| Never read the manga and was confused for the first 5 minutes, so I just read the character bio's on here and now it's pretty clear. I suggest others do the same if they were confused. Interesting show so far, the angry black hair loli was pretty cute. |

| Yay! an amazing show! Kinda jealous of Nitori wish I could wear girl clothes and look good in it. I kinda thought it looked like shounen-ai for a little bit since Nitori looked like a girly uke and the girl looked like a guy. Also score! Rie Fu got the ending song! |

| Probably confusing for the people who are just getting introduced to the characters, but overall I think it was a good decision to start with middle school, since they'll be able to get farther into the story in the short 11 episode run we're going to have. Love how they art matches the manga. And this is a nice reminder of how much I love the characters, since I haven't read it in a while. :) Detective said: Nachotee said: Yup, overhyped piece of mediocrity. A bunch of names introduced in the classroom and the characters look similar. The only criticism I have for this is that it feels like I'm missing a lot of background information. I think I'm going to check out the manga. If I don't read the whole thing then at least to the part they enter middle school. |
| I was surprised that they seemed to start a bit in the middle...and about the "talking to the camera" scenes. It will be interesting to see if it works out. I LOVED the manga. I totally sympathized with the characters, because I had an interest in cross-dressing when I was that age... ^^;; The art is so refreshing! It looks like watercolor pictures. I can't wait till more episodes come out! |

| Ahh, they skipped the entire elementary school, and jumped straight to middle school. And the last scene, which was supposed to be a profound one for Nitorin, had very little impact compared to the manga. It was just okay. I did not like the voice acting at all. I do hope it gets better, though. |
| only thing i can say after the first ep it is not your average ecchi/shounen/harem show so ppl should give it a fair chance... |

| at first i thought the boy was the girl and the girl was the boy but now i know that the boy was not a girl but a boy that crossdress as a girl and the girl was not a boy but a girl that crossdress as a boy woots man i got confused a little but i guess i gotten the story im not too fond of these no comedy slice of life shows but ill keep on watching it for the fact that this show is quite original though i didnt really like the voice of the boy =3 |

| Okay, reading the sypnosis before watching it, I thought this is gay... and after watching this, it was gay and he was sick. ...not that it's a bad thing though, it's actually interesting. I like the art and the slice of life approach on crossdressing. Be watching this one. |

| Pretty interesting, but I think I'll go back and read the manga. It was confused at parts but by the end I had it all figured out and it really felt like I was dropped right in the middle of a series, I kept wondering if I missed an episode 00 or some thing. The only thing that annoyed the crap out of me was what was with the filter over everything? It looked like they had Photoshop's render clouds over everything. |

| Have to say I had to watch the episode twice. The first time I was kind of preoccupied with other things and couldn't pay enough attention so I missed a lot of detail and was mostly just wondering why the hell they start several volumes into the story. The second time I could actually enjoy the atmosphere of the show. Art and music are amazing and fit perfectly into the mood of the manga. Really well directed too, I loved it. I'll be interested though how good the decision to start so many volumes in was, as most of the characters were already established characters at that point with only very few of them freshly introduced. |
