| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, I'm the first one! So lets discuss the special I guess. I was quite excited with the momentum towards the end of the special. The first time in a while I didn't want the episode to end. The little insert with bandage guy was animated so differently that it was hilarous just looking the way it did...even though it was practically the same setup as the Kakashi mask filler. Plus, I'm really getting into Hidan and Kakuzu's banter throughout the episode. |
| I found half of this special to be boring, The only reason I liked this was because of the last 15 minutes where the fight finally started, I cant wait for the next episode & I hope it will be even better than this one :) |

| Too much filler in the second half of the special, just glad my favorite Naruto Part II fight has started. I'm surprised they gave away the plot twist before the next episode even airs. | this chapter was pretty amizin i must say,those 2 being strong isn`t surprising but to be able to kill azuma, wow haha.naruto exploted while doing his wind rasengan..now i know why those pillars of yamato are shaped like dogs ya know ive always wondered when shikamaru started playing that table game  nd sakura had a bit of her own medicine |

| I have a spoiler for you guys!! Asuma will die!!!!!! Oops! The preview had said already na pala!!! XD Hahahahaha! LOL! What a bad way of giving episode titles! XD Anyways, hate the so much filler in the second half. For the nonmanga readers, I think that would make them suspense. Hahaha! But for us, it's a waste of screentime. Really! LOL! |

| yeah, it may have been a spoiler for the nonmanga readers, but it was also a compelling hook. The first 75% was mostly boring, but like everyone else I still enjoy hearing Hidan & Kakuzu going at it. They actually seem pretty chummy, it weird way. The fight itself, has been and is going to be AWESOME! |

| I hate it when they do the Shippuuden Specials. It just has an extra 20 minutes of filler. At least it seems as if this Asuma fight is going to go at a good pace, I can't remember the last fight in Naruto that only spanned 2 episodes. |

| I like the fact that Sai and Sakura are just standing there watching Naruto get better and not training anything themselves. Cool to see what Akuma can do though. Don't think I've seen him fight before. His last move in the episode explained his constant smoking ^^ |

| I can't believe they showed 8 minutes of the 4 squads preparing at those other bounty places when it was quite clear that it would be Asuma's squad that would be engaging them. They also ruined a plot twist with the next episode title. This episode convinced me to switch to the manga (although I will still watch the anime too). Although I LOVED the fighting when they finally got to it! Crazy fight, and Hidan looked so crazy in the next episode preview. |

| well that was crap. what the hell is wrong with the animators?! the episode was terribly animated and only when we get to the non-filler, important part of the plot (Asuma's last fight) is when the animation gets good. and it's so obvious how the animation changes. one second, it's absolute crap and the next you're pretty impressed. why can't they animate the whole series well?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?! |

If they ever pull the same shit like how they did the Naruto vs Orochimaru fight, then there will be problems. |

| This episode was really good :) In the beginning all the strategies to get a successful hide and ambush technique used by the Konoha ninjas were really clever and cool to see. When it came down to the fight - it was really well done~ Although I would have preferred a little less talk/thinking on Shikarmaru's part - but I guess that couldn't be helped. Great episode - next special is going to be sad :( Loved the ending with Shizune, Kurenai and Tsunade xD |
| Way to give away the next episode's plot. Anyway the fight was good, and the tree jumping in this 2-parter was the best I have seen yet, alot better than the Rescue Gaara or Sauske and Sai arc's. |

| Aside from the somewhat bland opening and the art that had parts of pretty low quality despite there were times when the characters weren't moving, this episode didn't disappoint. |
