| Agreed... very very epic, I always loved how Macross integrates music and mecha action together - and does it extremely well I might add. This episode is no exception. Lots of music, lots of action very good stuff. |

| an epic eps... not necessarily the best so far but its up there. He better not have left that earring to be blown up... Oh and was as usual very impressed by how well they integrate music into the fights and it certainly helps the music is good. Only one real complaint... ok PLEASE if there is going to be singing (to which you put both the Japanese lyrics up and the translations) along with talking for gods sake put them in different spots (ie. song lyrics up top and talking on bottom) I know it can be done. I need to watch it again so I don't spend half my time trying to find what they are saying and not what is being sung lol. |

| EPIC! Wow, that was intense. I've been wondering though ... can anyone fill me in on why the series has such an emphasis on music? (the songs, not that actual score). I dunno if I'm as big of a fan of it as most of you guys here (certainly love the slow song, played with the credits in this episode). Curious if there's a reason though. But yeah, wow. The fighting was so intense ... I hope to find some gifs of that stuff. XD Looks like episode 8 will be more relaxed/comedy I'm sure, doesn't bother me though. I'd say this series does comedy very well. :D |

| OMG! This episode was pure epicness! Might not be my favourite episode, but it was definitely my favourite action scene episode. Also, I just love how well they connect the music with the actions scene, it sends shivers down my spine =P |

Music/Music idols are basically one of the staples of Macross along with tranformable mechs and love triangles, it's been that way since the first series. |

The lyrics should appear on top like this:  If your subtitle display is messed up, use a decent player like Media Player Classic, or better yet, switch to the Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP), which includes Media Player Classic. |

| I may have waited almost 20 years for Macross to return to its roots but good God, it finally has, and better yet, the wait has been so worth it. EPIC, INCREDIBLE, EMOTIONAL..., lost for words. |

| I really can't add anything new to this thread. all those who posted ahead of me have said it. this episode just oozes of WIN. I think I've watched this episode about 5 times already. it was that epic. the directing for this episode was simply superb. those insert songs by Sheryl as the BGM for the battles were simply meant together like a cold beer and a ballgame. :D |

| Absolutely awesome episode as far as action scenes and music are concerned. I'm not a huge fan of fight scenes usually but these ones were just perfect and if you add the concert on top of that, the pacing was pretty unbelievable. That's pretty much the "Haruhi episode 12" of Macross Frontier. Extremely entertaining series so far, that really grows on you, despite being very commercial and a bit too much in terms of fan service sometimes. That's just pure fun honestly and certainly the best Macross since Macross Plus (I'm a Macross fan actually ;)). Love it. |

| Great episode. Good animation, good music, good pacing, good developments ... the only thing that brings it down is the preview, though I'm hoping that will turn out better than it looks. But yes, as for this episode, awesome. |
