| This looks okayish so far...and I say it that way because nothing really stood out so far for me. But, it is watchable. Even though this takes place at an academy, there's miltary mood from this episode. Ray didn't impress me much with his character imo. Amelia has more presence, at least from her character introduction. Dunno how I feel about rest of the cast but that blonde twintail girl Claris was super annoying. |

| This show made by a very new studio (Cloud Hearts), but produced under the supervision of Yokohama Animation Lab. It looks kinda iffy somehow... This looks like a rather inferior version of Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry a.k.a Chivalry of a Failed Knight, the newbie fantasy, magic and and academy tropes included. Ray White just looks like your typical MC but an Ordinary commoner, and Amelia Rose of nobility as the student representative, everything just falls into place splitting the ever-so-stale line between nobility and commoners in this Arnold Academy of Sorcery to become first-rate sorcerers. The stereotypical MC going around to make friends and all, the ordinary vs. nobility takes place like the usual circumstance it is. The magic...is somewhat unique, I'll give it that. This was a rather generic start with nothing of staying power, even the OST is generic. A 3-episode rule, this is necessary. |

| The manga for this one was really good but seems like the anime wont get the same love specialy regarding the animation, since the characters in manga and in anime look completetly different usualy the atleast keep some trait but nope they went for some complete generic look, i mean ill still watch it for bit depending on how they handle the story aspect....But the start overall definitly leaves much to be desired.... =/ |

| this looks kinda generic and junya voicing the mc makes it more generic for me 😠muscle bros was a nice twist tho. the animation looks kinda stiff but it's a 'new studio' so it's okay ig. i'll continue watching it because it somehow reminds me of seraph of the end. |

| Yeah this couldn't get any more generic lol. The MC feels like a literal NPC with that chara design, way of speaking and personality. Like something feels really off with his personality, he doesn't feel like a generic anime protag but his whole dialogue is "You look beautiful" "I'm Ray White" "Nice to meet you Miss blah blah". The red haired girl also appeared out of nowhere and they became friends in 2 seconds for some reason. Plus the choppy animation and direction which will probably get worse in future episodes, and the coloring looks like it was made by a middle schooler. At least the muscle scene was funny, i guess? Banger ED theme though. |

| I think his name is Ray White, but I might be mistaken. Pretty lame opening episode, not gonna lie. Dialogue was incredibly vacuous, mind numbing stuff as he said the same shit to a bunch of different people throughout the whole episode. Generic OP MC in a magic school with a possible harem of girls on the way, yeah, got it. |

| It was a stable episode i like how they introduced the four girls. Ray white is the ice blade sorcerer but no one knows that except the president. Ed was nice with little fan service. |

| I feel like the beginning of the episode started off a little funky. Tried reading chapter 1 from manga and I feel like the anime is def. a bit lacking unfortunately based solely on that alone.. However, I am a sucker for hidden prodigies so I'll keep watching LOL2 |

| Easily the worst show of the season so far. You couldn't have came up with a more bland and uninteresting starter episode if you tried. MC with stale or no personality? Check. Cast of girls that immediately get in good standing with MC based on little to no time spent together? Check Visuals looking absolutely bottom tier? Check Like idk, I'll be open minded and assume that maybe the source material for this series is way better paced and fleshed out than what we're getting here, which if that is the case then it's unfortunate to see none of it in this episode. This looks like it'll be pure garbage from here on out and not the fun kind either. |
