I've almost forgotten how to comment lmao Anyway, another great episode, really good with hyping up this Team Shokugeki and it's awesome to see Isshiki all fired up, considering how he's been up to this point! I highly doubt we'll be getting the conclusion this season though, with two episodes to go! |

| Today was too funny; yukihira pulling out soba was definitely on purpose... You could tell by the way the built up to the moment -although that should still be extremely hard. |

| Really wonderful backstory to be honest, one we as the viewer finally deserve to be honest and it sure was great! Really superb episode, looking forwards to see what the next episode has to offer! |

| I know it's not my place to say cause I've never been in Joichiro's shoes but I think it's better for one's problem to be too good at something rather than too bad. I do know though that there are plenty of people who are at a glance look like they're on the top of the world, living the dream life then all of a sudden you hear the news of them committing suicide with the most recent case of Anthony Bourdain who also happens to be a chef. RIP big guy, heard so many good things about him. And he likes Filipino food too which imo is just average. |

Joichiro is missing. Senzaemon. Overseas? Dat smile. lol at Soma. 490 loses. Dat ending. Azami. Fate fans should notice the similarities in this episode. |

| A backstory that focused mainly on Joichiro this episode and it was a showcase of why geniuses need to be nurtured the right way, otherwise they have the easiest platform to crumble completely. He was untouchable and on a different world than everyone else, but he burnt himself out and lost his passion for cooking as he was a machine of genius-level dishes. Such a shame since the academy and his peers had high expectations for him and didn't quite recognize the fact that he was almost crying for help on the inside throughout for a while after defeating 50 people, Musashi Miyamoto-style. Luckily, a change of pace, setting and the birth of a son really brought him back to ground and remotivated him to cook again, in a diner too. The fact that Joichiro was a god to him and was a genius at gourmet cooking and ended up breaking down and working at a diner where his potential isn't fully realized is what irritated him more than anything along with feeling abandoned in a sense. |
