| Kaori's surgery isn't meant to save her life, only to prolong it. The question is how they handle her death, not if she will die. |
| Beautiful episode. Just beautiful. This show is still a 9 for me, but it's leaning towards the 10. It really takes all I have to keep myself from reading the manga. I liked how concerned Takeshi and Emi were about Kousei. Although I already knew, it felt like an 'Aw, they really do care for him' moment. |

| One episode left. This episode was a great build up for whats to come. Kousei is at his limit. Kaori Is scared herself. She doesn't want to give up hoe, but she even doesn't know if she will make it. Love how Kousei is putting all his sadness into the piano. Man I'm hoping Kaori dies. Just for the fact it would make the most sense. For some reason I will feel real cheated if somehow she comes back fine and dandy after all this. Hoping this would be like their good bye. But who knows (those who read the ending). All I'm hoping for is a reasonable ending. Anyway great episode, cant wait for the last. 5/5 |

| Throughout the entire episode my eyes were getting watery, especially since I know what's going to happen in the next episode it made this episode much sadder. A-1 Pictures did an amazing job with the execution of this episode, especially with the snow scenes; the scene with Kaori playing 'air violin' was simply beautiful. Kousei's performance was the highlight of the episode though. Good thing Tsubaki's sneeze brought Kousei back to reality and gave him the push he needed. Kaori going through the surgery though. Then the ED plays and all the feels come rushing down. Man, last episode is going to make me cry rivers for sure. 5/5 |

| One more episode of the feels train... Really awesome to see Arima gain back his confidence when he started to play the piano. The performance was stunning even though it was cut short as it may or will likely to continue on to the next episode. Wish we got to see Emi's full performance. |
| I definitely cried more than once in this episode. I don't think I'll ever be emotionally prepared for the next one. I want her to live so badly and... She and Kousei never even got to be together. You need to live, Kaori. |

| Just when i thought i had no tears left, shigatsu steps it up with probably one of the most heartbreaking and beautiful episodes of any anime ive ever seen and the final episode im sure will be worse! |
| Hmmm,.. the title of the final episode along with the preview screen are unexpectedly optimistic. The indirect confession was the next piece of the puzzle, but the puzzle isn't complete yet. I have long accepted that Kaori will die, but if she dies while under the knife, it will feel unconcluded. Kaori will die, but she and Kousei do need another (final) encounter. |

| I've found all of the episodes in this series immensely moving. A large part of that is thanks to the music used. Now I'm getting ready for work and there's tears streaming down my cheeks. Mental Note: don't watch before work! |

| Regardless what happen in the next episode I want to see that Kousei at least still play the piano even though I think Kaori death will affect him. |

| Great episode. Kaori is alright and manages to stand up. Seeing her cry in the snow and wanting to know more about Kousei was quite sad. Her surgery happening on the day of the competition. Kousei manages to perform. Love how everyone is there to support him. Final episode next week. I want a happy ending, but not sure if we will get one. |

| What a beautiful way to conclude what musicians are. Play and play even if facing downfalls, hardships and the like. I love that conversation at the rooftop. Both of them feel alone, yet to their surprise, they still have each other. That was gently sweet of them. Playing the piano and the surgery of Kaori are going through Kousei's mind. Still, the encouragement of Kaori is still present. Maybe soon enough, they'll make it through all of it. Last episode next week. I'm not feeling well about that. |
| Tsubaki's sneeze is now my new message ringtone. Cute. I've read the manga, but Kaori's despair as shown in this episode is heartbreaking. I was crying along with her. Splendid production. |
