| @Spoiler discussion: Just because other sites spoil One Piece doesn't mean it should be okay on MAL. As someone who watched the entirety of One Piece up to airing last year without being spoiled at all, including who would join the crew, I find the excuses in this thread revolting, and I agree with Solo-Maro that it probably contributes to the episode discussions being deader here. MAL should be a place that is safe when it comes to discussing even long-since-aired series and episodes. I would have been very upset had I read these during my initial watch. OT: I find it interesting that the islands of the Grand Line develop separately for the most part. |

| I read that someone spoiled something when I scrolled so I didn't read the rest of the posts in this thread. That being said I'll go on with my thoughts. It's somewhat rare to get Luffy alone with someone new like this, I'm really curious how they'll bond together, if they do. Vivi wanting to go with him is a bit daunting, to put her life in danger following one person into a jungle of monsters to keep her mind off things seems like a lot. After all, to save Alabasta she has to make it there... Perhaps she's got an ulterior motive of some kind? Or perhaps she's brave and has trust in Luffy after seeing him deal with that dolphin. Either way she's an interesting character. Seeing Luffy dance around and ask Sanji for lunch, and then go off on an adventure with Karoo and Vivi, all dressed like elementary schoolers with their backpacks and all was adorable. I also have to mention their responses to seeing the dinosaur. "DINOSAUR?! D:", "DINOSAUR!!! :D". Ohh, how I appreciate you Luffy. Zoro and Sanji getting into the hunting battle felt a little forced, Zoro doesn't normally insult people without good reason, but maybe it's just because I forgot about their rivalry. I remember a certain scene in the Arlong arc where Luffy was asleep and the two argued for long time. And I can't say it wasn't for a good cause, seeing them go after dinosaurs was hilarious. I loved how Sanji casually destroyed a T-Rex while smoking, and I love even more so how the convenient sword battle this time was with a Triceratops! "So you use the three sword style too?", made me laugh ridiculously hard. Little Garden seems a bit silly, but really fun. I guess Dinosaurs never went exstinct on this island because of the magnetic forces in the Grand Line, or something Nami said. With this being an island, I'm curious what will happen in the future! |
| They successfully landed at Little Garden and it looks like the farthest thing from being a little garden. The Grand Line's so crazy that some islands were even left in the prehistoric era! |

| Another great episode. What an adventure it is to have this crew of interesting characters explore these unknown waters and islands. And to think we are only just scratching the surface of what's inside the Grand Line. Awesome stuff indeed. |
| What an island!!! Didn't thought Vivi will go along with Luffy. She was annoyed by them. Ironic!! But this place is amazing. So Sanji and Zorro gave us an important lesson. What if men existed in the times of dinosaur? Still they would have extinct. But this time would have gone in men's stomach XD!!! At least Sanji and Zorro showed us that XD!!! So there big foots in this island. wonder if they would've friendly enough! |
