| Alot of dramatic moment....entrusting their hope into youngster???For me i think the elder made the most appropriate decision for the village.but anyway,I wonder how Naruto gonna come back since the red frog being killed (I am curious that why frog has red blood split out sooo much) ....not much interesting fight. Hope Kakashi don't lose to pain..... |

| @suigetsu: Wow, that spoiler was just completely, utterly and totally pointless to this eps discussion... I have read the manga so I don't care but seriously, there is absolutely no need to post that here... About the ep though. Very slow and quite boring, although I did like the whole "die konoha, die!!" part in the beginning, not so much for the flashbacks though... Hopefully next ep will be full of fighting, pwnage and no pointless flashbacks. |

| I'm not going to be popular for stating this, yet I think Tsunade makes the worst decisions. She doesn't think through consiquences, she's too irratic and barley has the power to do great things. She's a medic with superstrength, yet the useless Sakura is suppose to surpass her!? Why does it have to be the females who are an emmotional, delicate mess? |

| Not a bad episode as I thought it would be. Flashbacks were shorter than usual and weren't pointless as usual. Also, Tsunade made kinda strange decision. Sure, healing is great, but from what intel their ninjas gathered so far, most jutsus don't work on those guys, direct combat is required. And what better direct combatant than Tsunade herself. Facing reality, thus knowing Kakashi doesn't really stand a chance against "Pain", all I'm hoping for is that he doesn't die. This looked to me like a sacrificial move from him. Hopefully I'm wrong, I love that guy :) Also, if those metal rods are chakra receivers and message from Jiraiya was something like "the-real-one-is-not-amongst-them"(something like that), my assumption(never read manga) is that this guys actually receive chakra and that eye power(cant remember the name of that eye power) from real Pain who is somewhere safe controling them somehow. Time will tell. |

| The animation and the color palette got downgraded a bit since the Jiraiya vs. Pain arc. I hope it'll be fixed in the next ep. |

Well, that's the punishment for actually having Naruto as main character :) It's not that bad, just pretend he doesn't exist. It is not Naruto that will stop Pain, it is mysterious power that holds the world in balance... Yeah, I'm rambling, but you get the point. Aside from not liking Naruto for his idiocy, biggest problem with him is that after all this fights he's going to get through we'll probably get yet another friends speech from him. And it's going to take up whole episode. I am more interested in what is Naruto going to gain next. This show seems to be going in circles. Enemies get stronger, Naruto gains new power, new enemies, new power. Sage mode is the ultimate, right? So what after that? I thought about reading manga actually, but I know myself, and I know I would just skip the pages that involve Naruto talking. Also, about the frog. Seriously, tell me you people didn't see it coming? I hope somebody brutally murders Danzo, I hate that guy. |

Still, even if I didn't, that spoiler doesn't prove me wrong. I don't think Sakura or Tsunade are great in battle, yet Sakura is a child (like Naruto, who Tsunade is relying on), Tsunade is a middle-aged woman who has been through hardship, yet still, makes irrational dicisions; this goes back to her first appearance, when she decided to fight Orochimaru, dispite knowing she isn't a fantasic fighter and not following his progress like Jiraya did. Naruto being in the village could spell distater, as he is Akasuki's target. Tsunade and Sakura are overemmotional; their personalities outway their abilities. *my opinion anyway* |
