| Most arguments I see essentially boil to "it could be better". Yeah, it could, but that's not an argument as to why something is bad. I don't want to dismiss it as simply "people who haven't watch much anime overreacting", so I want to hear what people have to say about it. |
| it displays the worst side of the anime industry, showing a middle finger to art and creativity simply because you are greedy. There is no passion or vision here. Animators like Aoki love OPM, but even their hardwork has been diluted by frame removal for quick reproduction. I simply can't defend something so anti-art, it feels wrong. |

| Saitama. He sucks. EP 6 was great because he wasn't in it. Lack of Saitama is why S2 is much better than S1. |
| This season is terrible!! I wont deny that!! But honestly, a lot of reactions dont feel genuine. Its crossing a line and one could even call it overreaction. |

| There likely is people hating on it just because it's the current trend, that will always happen but objectively it's a very bad season. - Garou slide being a png moving down a hill diagonally with no dirt or dust flying up. - Ripper being drawn as a female when the character is a male - Atomic Samurais hair being chopped off at the top in episode 6 - episode 6 having weird neon filters put over it during the first half which made no sense as to why it's used and just looks bad - Scenes where it's clearly still images with very basic animation to try and pass it off as animation, leading to it being a slideshow. - A scene where, in the manga, Genos and Fubuki are climbing stairs but in the anime it's just a still image of the side of Saitamas apartment building - An approximate two minute hot pot scene that was boring and uninteresting which was barely animated - Lack of Saitama fighting - I assume he's going to fight at some point in S3 but with the quality of the animation overall, I don't have high hopes it'll be good - Characters looking stiff and awful with no depth perception or shading, particularly Genos' new design from the doctor - in the Manga it looks sick, in the anime it looks dull and boring. - Whole scenes being drawn awfully, the one that comes to my mind is episode 6 where the heroes are storming out of the HQ. If you compare the manga vs anime shots, the Manga wins every time for looking better. I'm sure i'm forgetting some more in the above list that I could add but overall, it's a really bad season which likely comes down to Bandai Namco. I don't think the season will be cancelled, they'll see it out for another 6 weeks but unless a miracle happens, i'd be shocked if they announce a season 4. |

| It's always funny to me how people are allowed to criticize the most trivial of things of a bad anime adaptation but not the other way around. People aren't hating the show because of a trend, they're hating because of lack of care and quality in every episode, while a few animators who work on it go to twitter and say "guys we did the very best we could so don't hate us please" as a shield. That kinda shit won't work anywhere else in the world. You do a bad job, you get shit. I feel bad for the animators for the impossible schedule provided by the higher ups but goddamn this season is bad. Two things can be true at once, people. Fucking echo chamber of positivity every where my god. Keep it up guys, maybe we can make season 4 ever worse! People who mindlessly praise this adaptation are the sheep lmao |

| People keep talking about the animation but I'm surprise that rarely anyone mention how badly placed the music is in this season so far. The music placement is so off and jarring that it makes Plunderer's sometimes random as hell music and Funi dub DBZ's zero silence replacement scores looks like they were Oscar-worthy direction by comparison lol. |

| Well it's pretty obvious. compared to s1 and s2 this seasons quality is really bad. Fans were waiting for years and got garbage. Yes influencers are really exaggerating but it's still a fact that this season is bs. I love the story but Ep 7 was really just hard to watch. It felt like a one piece ep where you see all side chars fight with no progress to the story and in addition with terrible animation. |

| I mean there's literally dozens of examples of how awful the animation has been in this season. It's not even an exaggeration; there's been like no attention to detail and fans took notice especially because season one was so much better by comparison. And yeah, people do tend to put a lot of emphasis on animation since watching something animated is why most people watch anime in the first place; if they just cared about the story, they'd read the manga instead. |
| One of the most enjoyable aspect of this show is crying fans in the forums. Nothing can save this anime even Ufotable animation, S1 proved that, amazing animation result was mid sales. |
