| I recently saw people commenting that Furbys are better than Labubus. I confess that I find Furbys more charming, but I don't hate Labubus. What about you? Which one do you prefer? |

But if we're strictly speaking about my opinion on their aesthetics, I kinda prefer Labubus? |

I was too young when Furbies first came out (to me they were nothing but the weird broken toys you commonly found in thrift stores) and I'm too old to care about Labubus (though I do know a few people my age who go crazy about them...). But if we're strictly speaking about my opinion on their aesthetics, I kinda prefer Labubus?

| Furbys as a toy as a kid always icked me out as to my eye even when presented in a bright and clean fashion on TV commercials they still looked like mutant bird rat creatures. And then it didn't help the matter when whenever I saw them in person at someone else's house they were usually tucked in some dark dusty corner or buried under a pile of other things waiting to deliver an unpleasant surprise with their appearance. The other I only heard of briefly in passing years later (aren't they much newer, as in only released from sometime in the 2010s on?) and never gave much thought to. |

Alas, I think it has something to do with the fact that I am too old for such toys, as in I would have never received one as a gift. Combine that with the fact that I don't perceive anything as cute except kittens and Asian women. I know, I know, I'm a monster. |

| I'm glad to have been pinged for high level discussions like these. Furbies run on alkaline battery, which requires lithium, carbon, zinc, copper, some plastic etc. Labubu at least exhausts no energy. Seeing as both are equally useless, maybe labubus? |
