| It's back! This episode did give the impression of hopeless and despair at first. However, all the buildup led to this war. I mean, Freya's own actions caused this to become what we see today in this timeline. Still, I like the way they made this episode, with the two sides. Bell's side having to fight through the odds while Freya's wants to make a statement. It's a hell of an episode imo with lot of emotions brewing. |

| Love to see the GOAT HERSELF RYUU pulling up to get her get back. Her and that animation were NOT playing. No surprises though, this is J.C.'s golden child for whatever reasons. I ain't complaining though, because the animation while she was using the attack she used that she stole from the Astraea captain was just straight SAKUGA. Which ofc, as it should, did lead to Ryuuu fucking Dainsleif's shit UP AND THEM FINALLY DEFEATING ONE OF THE FREYA FAMILIA MEMBERS. Ryuu, you have just earned even MOREEEE respect than I already had for you before. |

| YAAS!! Ryuu is back. I knew it was coming since I read the novels but damn, it was so satisfying to see it voiced and animation in style! As was Daphne's moment of GAR. Great episode and I don't have too many complains. The animation was great for JC standards but they still cut some corners here and there. And I'ma bit disappointed that they don't introduce a new OP or new music even after a while. |

| Its funny seeing Take actually act like a god of war for a change. The tenacity of Bell's friends though were most impressive. Ryu's entrance on the field really was majestic. And her fight against Hogni was just top tier. Astrea record's reveal was just damm amazing. That went hand in hand with the entry of Astraea and the new generation of her now reborn familia. Not to mention paving the way for the ultimate when it came to turning tables with Heldin's sudden change. |

| Good thing that they have bodies to throw over. I guess. Would be nice if Heith group was defeated there. Not from a strategic pojnt of view, but from the point that would run out of angles, seeing how much of clothes patches they still got. And seeing that the production want to maintain family friendly, apparently. |

| Ryu's comeback was really awesome. I'm glad that she has returned just in time to help out the allies and her upgrades were phenomenal. Not only did she showcase how much stronger she was in her battle against Hogni, but the animation for the attacks really stepped up a few notches and it looked really nice. Overall, I'm very impressed and this was a great way to get back this 5th season after its delay. =) |
| Oh shit I didn’t know we were back yesterday, thought it was next week!! Just JC casually dropping their best ever Danmachi episode with no fanfare! This was incredible. Pure fucking chills when Ryu descended from the sky like a Valkyrie or sword goddess. Astrea record was beautiful. You could feel all her old friends fighting alongside her and I love her updated design!! The choreography, sound design and voice acting, all immense. What a fucking cliffhanger too! Hedin taking out his own allies?? wtf?? After this episode we all in agreement Ryu is best girl right? |

| Was not expecting this to return today, I thought we were waiting till March, but hey I’m not complaining lol, and we didn’t just get one episode, but two back to back, definitely very nice to have, especially after the cliffhanger this episode ended on. And boy did JC Staff cook with this one, I can see why they had to delay this now, Ryu popping off needed to look this good and I’d say they delivered and then some, her battle against Hogni aka Edgelord Extreme was very satisfying to watch. It was sad seeing the different gods drop one by one, including Daphne and Cassandra, but Ryu absolutely saved it with her entrance, and I gotta say this new design of hers is a great mix of badass and hot, perfect for DanMachi lol. And man it is really cool seeing the Astrea Familia being brought up again along with Ryu’s friends of the past from Season 4, with Alise making an appearance when Ryu used a skill only she could use, it’s crazy how relevant she is to the story despite being dead before episode 1 of Season 1, but she has such a good design so I’m glad she’s being used in any respect, Ryu looked really cool while channeling her and her flames as well. And just when the half naked healers thought they were gonna undo Ryu’s nuclear streak, Hedin of all people struck his own comrades down, that really surprised me, is he betraying them or is this a matter of pride in not resurrecting his fallen allies when they lost fair and square? Thankfully episode 13 is already out so I don’t gotta wonder for long lol. |

| Ryuu's amp was amazing. She's on a whole other level compared to how she was before. Seeing Heith in some torn up battle panties with lots of underboob shots were great as well. |

| @Hylianticipated When you level up you might get special skills and abilities or maybe even new spells. Ryu leveled up two levels, so she was bound to get a new magic ability. |

Considering how strong their healers are, you would expect them (or well Ryu since everyone else is down) to target them first. So I wonder if she knew Hedin would betray (?) Freya? PS: Werent the gods supposed to not get directly attacked? And not actually "fight" either? |
