| Yeah Holo, let all those emotions out. Just don't hurt yourself cause yikes. She behaves more like a human everyday especially in Lawrence's presence. Their chemistry seems to always be the highlight of an episode and this one is no different. Nora is back too and Lawrence reflects on their meeting and role. Interestingly though, I think this episode took a deeper dive on how human emotions are protrayed overall in the show. |

| Holo crying and sad makes me sad too. Due to a major drop in weapon prices, Lawrence found himself burdened with debt and on the brink of bankruptcy. He ran through the town, seeking ways to make money, but faced constant rejection. Managing to scrape together a small amount of money, Lawrence attempted to give it to Holo as travel funds to return to her hometown. However, this angered her. In response, Holo proposed a secret plan to Lawrence, suggesting they overcome their difficulties together. The next day, the pair visit Hans Lemerio and present Holo's plan to smuggle gold. Near bankruptcy, Lemerio agrees to buy gold from Lamtra for Lawrence's team to smuggle into Ruvinheigen, sell it, and avoid Church tariffs. In return, he postpones Lawrence's debt deadline. Later, Lawrence and Holo meet Norah and explain the plan to hide gold in her sheep. Lawrence explains the Church suspects her of pagan powers, putting her at risk. The payment lets her leave Ruvinheigen safely. Considering her mistreatment, Norah agrees. Glad to see Norah is going to play a bigger role in this arc than I first thought she would. |

| Seeing Lawrence depressed is understandable and it's a good thing not everything goes well in the show, but man it was depressing to see him and Holo like this. Once this episode shifted to the talking of smuggling gold, it became much better. Plan is obviously risky, but what can you do in a situation like this. Glad to see that Nora will be playing a role in this, she needs to get back at those scummy church. |
| A much slower pace to the episode but good to see Holo and Lawrence on the same page again and try to work together to get out of this situation successfully, rather than Lawrence just sacrificing his life and efforts throughout the entire day to essentially beg for meager funds as much as possible just to ensure Holo travels again and solely reaps temporary benefits. Holo's already having a plan lined up and with Nora's cooperation with smuggling gold out to avoid the Church tariffs and make a much higher return for Lemerio Company as a result when they themselves are desperate for money to avoid their own bankruptcy. It's high-risk but high reward and considering the Church and the priest already potentially suspect Nora for having pagan powers with how good she is at protecting her sheep all the time, and to avoid the bullshit she is taking anymore and make a proper life for herself with this big step, she's on board. Not too much actually happened in terms of number of events taking place but it does serve as effective buildup for Lawrence to once again, turn it around and try to make this risky play work to be able to pay off his debts with Lemerio even giving a small postponement for this risky plan. Overall, it was pretty solid. The second half did feel a tad weaker than the first after the fairly intense conversation with Holo and Lawrence but the pacing despite being slow, didn't feel too much like a drag this time around compared to some of the other anime this season I've been having that issue with. |
| Sad seeing Lawrence be reduced to this though. It was amusing seeing Holo beat him up because of how dense he is though. But It was sweet seeing them make up. Holo's hearing proved to be mighty useful during the meeting about the gold. Bringing Nora as part of the job was good thinking. The good nature of Lawrence though is one of the things that truly make him stand out as both a character and trader. Curious to see how the plan goes though. |

| This episode was so good. I don't really have any complaints. The way Holo was animated and the voice actresses' performance were both top-notch. Even better than the original I'd say although the pace felt a bit faster. Since I can't find anything new to say I'll just copy-paste my thoughts from the original lol. More Holo x Lawrence moments. Nice. Except they had to pretend after Holo got upset. Lawrence is a surprisingly nice and simple guy tbh. So far, I don't see him actually being into Holo aside from some simple fondness. Instead, Holo seems to be the one who really holds Lawrence in an endearing position. It's the opposite of what I expected when I started this anime. I wonder if the feelings will ever become real at some point. Either way, I'm loving it. The Wise Wolf strikes again. This time her genius plan is... smuggling gold, something that's highly illegal in that town. I should've known that this was going to be the way they make money after how it was talked about in previous episodes. It seems like the perfect plan. If nothing goes wrong that is. I loved this episode and I'm looking forward to the next one. |
| I loved so much the beginning of this episode. The way they were both trying to take the blame for everything tells you a lot about how much they care for each other at this point. There was some serious arguing, but I find it hilarious (and cute) that the moment Holo might have been the most mad at him was when he missed an occasion to woo her. Basically, they like each other too much to not make up quickly and get back to their usual banter/flirting, that's what we learnt this week :) Now then, trying to smuggle gold with sheep sure is bold, and it's clear they're taking advantage of Nora, but at least Lawrence feels really bad about it. I liked how gorgeous the buildings/city looked in the scene he offers her the job, and the music. |

| A high-risk plan, that could pay off in spades if executed correctly... It was nice to see Holo and Lawrence reconcile after tensions were high in the last episode. Holo got her emotions out, and now she has a good plan for smuggling gold outside the city, avoiding the Church's notice. Lawrence proposed the plan to the Lemerio Trading Company, and since both parties are reeling from the market crash, he postpones the debt deadline, in return for Lawrence and Holo to smuggle gold into Ruvinheigen without paying tariffs. There'll be big trouble if they're caught, but great rewards if they succeed. It was also good to see Norah getting more of a role in the story, and things should get interesting yet again. |

| The start of this episode carried the depression of the previous episode a bit further, but after Holo’s tearful rage things quickly returned to the usual Holo and Lawrence sweetness, but even stronger now after what just went down. And I have to admit that Holo going for the chair but it being too heavy for her to hit Lawrence with made me laugh lol, not sure if it was meant to be comedic but I definitely enjoyed it, also Holo getting pissed at Lawrence for not taking advantage of the situation was pretty funny as well. But now that Holo and Lawrence are back together again, it’s time to make this debt a thing of the past, and Holo has a golden plan to do it, I wasn’t expecting smuggling gold but it makes sense, and I like that it’s making use of Norah after we haven’t seen her for a bit, despite Lawrence being against it initially he sure knew what to say to get Norah on their side lol. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how this plan plays out, this seems to be more exciting than being on the run in the sewers a while back imo. |
| I am happy this will have so many episodes, because this was too slow episode :( I wonder if she just acted like a girl or really acted like a girl :D Why she wanted to hear that words? On one side it was nice scene, but on other side it was too long and I am confused if she is developing real feelings towards him as a girl not wolf that need him for her new life and using him. |

| Yes... Lawrence is a very good person. That scene where Holo wanted to hear the lie answer was very cute. And now, Norah was convinced to become a "mule". What dangers from the forest and from the smuggling itself will she now have to face while moving that gold? |

| This series too does a good job at building up a sense of strong relationship between them. Their banterings are so enjoyable to listen to, Holo's caparicous, sassy and sometimes needy nature is not easy to deal with but exactly that what makes her so precious and lifelike. |

| @rassilon It is how the japanese author imagined this fantasy world's religous ethic most likely based on his conception of protestant/puritan christian ethics. Simply if Lawrence seemed to have had enough money to splurge it on a young lass like Holo then he wasn't worthy of a loan. According to protestant work ethic he should have been diligent, frugal, discplined (and married) and not parading around with a questionable girl clothed in expensive garments who wasn't his spouse. |

| Holo carrying the chair, and almost falling out the window. This is meant to be made more dramatic than in original anime and in manga. Holo can obviously carry a chair and attack someone with it. Holo is strong. Holo is the strongest. Holo was making the scene more dramatic |
| After how tense things got between them, I'm glad that Holo and Lawrence were able to reconcile with each other once again. Lawrence truly is too good-natured at times, but that is also his strength when a situation calls for it. =) The plan for the pair to get the debt cleared is very ambitious, which is smuggling gold and it does involve Nora helping out. It will be a dangerous job and, as he mentioned, if it does pay off for them, they'll have to leave the city and never come back, but the reward for all of them is worth the risks involved. A slow, but solid episode overall. Now let the gold smuggling plan commence! |

| Uffff, I just love Holo's cheeky and sarcastic personality! Lawrence is too good-hearted to catch Holo's hints. It's great that they've found a way to solve their economic problems, but smuggling is quite dangerous, especially when it involves the church. I hope nothing happens to Nora. |

| Once again, the wise wolf came in clutch with her plan, and looks like the young shepherd will be included in this plan of smuggling gold out of this town. A risky job but a fruitful one in the end if they succeed in it. Holo and Lawrence are so cute together. |
