| I think Ninja Batman is more entertaining than most other Batman movies I've seen. I also think Golden Kamuy is funnier than most actual comedy anime I've seen, including the 55 episodes of Gintama I sat through. I apologize for neither. |

| I actually, and unironically, called myself an otaku back in my teens, maybe even into my early twenties. Tbh, still prefer that term over weeb (despite otaku having a negative connotation in Japan, especially anime otaku, due to that '80s or so incident). I still have my copies of Anime Insider and monthly SJ from those years. As far MAL-related, legit had a crush on someone back in the day from here, lol. And, it actually warmed my heart that a couple people remembered me when I came back last year. So, yeah. XD |

| I often become hyper-fixated on a particular show, which is not even necessarily particularly interesting to me as such. Mainly because of some unresolved issues that fuel my scientific or sports interest. Shipping, fan theories about the development of an intriguing plot, some kind of behind-the-scenes context, well, you get the idea. Constant disputes with shippers have led to the fact that my shipping goggles have evolved to the most unimaginable levels and usually I have to constantly touch the grass to get out of the fujoshi/yuri fanboy mode, which turns on by reflex. The high level of meta knowledge actually makes it quite difficult for me to enjoy the content, since I'm constantly trying to figure out the meaning of certain tropes or which of the possible routes the plot is moving along. For example, even after the first episode, I practically decomposed the potential development of G-Wtich into Lego cubes and it burned me out. My burnout has caused me to become very sensitive to anything that can squeeze emotion out of me. Which is why I'm very susceptible to any nostalgic content, even if it's just architecture like in high school anime from the 90s and 00s or a ridiculously overly formulaic battle shonen. Not to mention any tragic or tearful melodramatic anime. Ultimately, the constant pursuit of emotions led me to become quite sentimental, which somehow reversed some of my burnout. |

I do the same thing for yt videos, audio books, podcasts, and regular tv shows too... idk why, but I feel like it's easier for my brain to process if it's faster. I don't do it when it's a show or video that's trying to convey a certain atmosphere though, for obvious reasons. I'm used to my friends bashing me for it, so I don't mind the prejudice lol |

There's no real reason for that, I'm just illogicaly stuborn in that aspect. The ones I enjoy, I watch them in 1x. In the case of podcasts and yt videos, I always speed them up. I don't understand why I have the duty of listening to somehting in its original speed as long as I can comprehend it in 1.5x or even 2x. |

STEAM's GOTY 2024 the Ghost of Tsushima Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 compared to other games released in 2024 is without a doubt a masterpiece. HOWEVER... Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 compared to far older games like Gears of War from 2006 is pretty lackluster and has lots of room for improvement -> 5.5/10 Lol Sony needs to stop sniffing their own farts, their IQ is crashing so hard they are gonna ruin the whole company. |

Although, tbh, maybe the term doesn't have as much of a negative connotation anymore. It's been long enough, and anime weirdly blew up the past few years, magnitudes more than it did in the 2000's. Sorry for the rambling reply, lol. |

| I almost never laugh at a comedy anime, I watch them because I like the happy mood they have and I always smile when I watch them. Konosuba is the exception, it really made me laugh and I hope that when I see Gintama it will be the second one. I've also seen many more anime than I have on the list, but I stop watching them, I don't drop them but I say to myself "it's not your time" and I effectively give them another chance after months to finish them and I end up liking them. |
