If you don't like overpowered main characters you should have stopped watching at the very first episode. Watching the MC dominate all opposition is one of the series' main draws. If I wanted a 'struggling' MC (who always wins in the end anyway) I would watch battle shounen. |

Well then, i guess if it already has an end, might as well see where it goes, - i guess reflecting on it all, my main complaint for it wasn't so much the overpowered fact, it was the amount of dialogue, - i'd rather spent more time watching him be overpowered than hearing about him talking about being overpowered, but to each their own - and heres to hoping season 3, if and when it comes, will be pretty darn good. |

| This season has been awesome from start to finish, definitely enjoyed it a lot more than season one, which was brought down by it's second half. Raphael is awesome lmao, Great Sage was already you know, great, but Raphael is even greater. It's really good to see Shion squeezing Rimuru in her bahonkadonks again. Benimaru with the strats, but he played himself lmao. Diablo is a massive Rimuru simp, dude wants headpats too, give it to him. Milim's battle mode looks so cool. And let's fucking go, Veldora is back! That was one hell of a cliffhanger. I am ready for season 2 part 2 tomorrow. 8.5/10 |

| This being practically the last episode for this season of the anime, bit late, but final thoughts are definitely a 8/10 season. Story was pretty great at the start, lots of momentum and showed a lot of promise. The mid point with the attack on Rimuru City, start to end was definitely the peaking point for this season, however was also the point were arguably, you could tell the anime studio had to quickly attach 50ton steel weights onto the heels of this season to slow it down. Where there were pretty intense and nice action scenes, felt like it came at a cost of potentially 1 or 2, maybe even 3, episodes of build up and hype for it, obviously making things drag out and get boring fast. If i could rant about one plot point this season, it would probably be about the 3% or what ever chance it was for Rimuru to fully revive all the dead villagers as a Demon lord. To cut it short, felt quite cliche, in stories like this were the protagonist often get their way, 3% often amounts to 100%, chance of failing a big huge event for the story almost doesn't exist, thus felt like i could see how it would end miles away. That isn't to say however I'm not happy that Shion and the villagers were brought back, but more disappointed that the story had to go down that route, but hay, I aignt no anime studio or author. Asides from that though, overall Arcs this season were amazing. Visuals all round were great, pretty consistent. Lots of great fight scenes this season, personally felt like this season offered some of the best so far in terms of visuals for fights as well as animation. I remember my jaw dropping for certain fights, SFX were also great all round, if I remember this anime for one thing, it's probably how the SFX in this anime is top class. Characters, few were introduced, all were mostly meh. The other worlders were good if you wanted a group to rag on, besides them, the impact of this Arc on certain characters you'd expect would have massive impact on them, however it felt the anime lacked the ability to show that impact. Characters would feel stiff at times, and frankly like they could shrug off the events that would leave other's scarred e.g. What personally felt like a real lack of emotions after Rimuru had to witness his own town burn around him and the people he cared about dead in front of him over his own choices. With that said, i want to argue that at times, Myuran and Youm's out of place love story showed more character emotion that the majority of the main cast this season. All in all, apart from how the story would sometimes drag for unnecessarily long periods of time, and the some what cliché plot points, season 2 delivered some of the best action and overall Arcs this series has to offer. Episode 12 itself, pretty crazy one ngl. Went from Shion and others revival, to Rimuru throwing Benimaru under what was practically a monster truck with spiked wheels, then to Milim wiping out a town like it was a regular Saturday, and to Diablo and Rimuru's proper meeting, which i have to say i split my sides over. Never would I ever thought that Rimuru's real meeting with Diablo would of gone down like that. Great sage's upgrade to "raphael" brought about a new running joke i really hope stays. Honestly I can't tell, did they get a new VA along with raphael to replace great sage? Or did they just hand them a new microphone? If Rimuru didn't point out that his appearance changed, I doubt i actually would of seen any difference, but of course they gotta remind me that Rimuru is either male, female or neither and make me question my fragile masculinity. Veldora returns with a human form, hoping to see more of him next season. |

| That was quite a fun 12 eps overall. I know not everyone vibes with revival of dead characters but I at least liked the way they set it up. The same barrier the enemy needed to kill Shion and the others also unintentionally helped the resurrection process down the track. A nice little touch. |

| The finale wasn't bad but this season was awful, and the future really doesn't look any brighter for future seasons too. Everything's returned to normal now for the time being with revivals happening and Rimuru now being a fucking Demon Lord with so much power, it's really hard to care for the series in any serious events that they try to display like the ones in this season which were a tonal, structure and narrative mess. Even the visuals were weaker than the first season, and it wasn't that great in the first season too. Can confirm now that while I dislike Re:Zero, yeah this definitely is worse easily. |

Only good character i liked was diablo and he turned out to be such a male tsundere or something.. was finally hoping for an actual strong serious character.. but its slime universe.. every thing's gotta be cheesy and comedy.. This season 6.5/10 at best so i'm giving it 7.. Theres a guy that got killed for nothing while wishing to eat everything , resurect as a slime in a new world , meet a tsundere dragon , only from 1st episode you know its not a serious anime I was actualy expecting this anime to be a lot less serious But yeah 12 episode for a 5mn millim isnt enough , there was a back story and 2 little part that lasted a couple of sec , but clearly the ending was missleading Im giving it a 8 , just like first season , raphael only make it from 7 to 8 |

| Rimuru got his power timed by ten folds and now is Milim rival since last appraisal said she is around 10 times stronger, and he got two disaster tier members added to his stronghold overall score 6/10 my old self would have gave this 8 or 9, but the fact that its so wishy washy and dream like killed the vibe for me. |
| Really liked how well they continued this and with such an ending of the halve of this second/third season, really looking forward to the next 12 episodes! |

| Shion's cooking tastes like sh... these words certainly are scarier than demon lords. Rimuru and his subordinates merciless slaughtering those invaders after what they did to Tempest was some fun development this season. |

| Pfft Raphael's suggestion on how to respond to Benimaru's password prank was weak, just selling out your boy. The real answer should be to tell the truth and say Shion's cooking tastes like s*** and stop coddling her for no reason. She just got revived from the death, she can handle hearing that her cooking sucks. Probably the weakest decision Rimuru makes to continue going along with that and it doesn't make for a great introduction of Raphael's ability either, imo. I get that it's supposed to be a comedy bit, or something, but a man not being able to tell woman she is a bad cook thing is so hackneyed, and it doesn't even really work with Rimuru's personality and position relative to Shion anyway, I don't really see why it makes sense. It's not like Rimuru is in love with her that way and should be afraid to make a bad impression. And who gives two hoots if some ogre warrior is a bad cook, and she isn't a house wife who should be proud of her cooking either, she has other things she is good at and much more important responsibilities, why would that revelation that her cooking is bad be so terrible(other than to reveal that everyone around her has been too cowardly to tell her the truth for so long)? Enough with having to tiptoe around her dangerously bad cooking, just end it already, Gobta almost got killed messing around the first time, that should've been where Rimuru drew a line. Oh great and wise Rimuru Tempest, just ban her from cooking and be done with it instead of letting it drag on and become a thing again and again. |

| Oh, so that was the serious form of Milim... when I saw her in the opening I thought Shion would fuse with Shuna xD Wonder why Milim is acting like that though, can Clayman really manipulate her? And Frey looks pretty hot, not gonna lie. So of course Shion and the rest got resurrected and finally Rirumu was able to free Veldora. Guess he has another powerful ally now. Also Diablo is a cool dude, no wonder he has so many favorites on MAL. I'm glad Hinata only appeared once. Also Myulan redeemed herself quite nicely. Thus I was able to enjoy this season almost to the fullest and I'm looking forward to more slime in the SoL spin-off and the season 2 part 2 sequel. 9/10 |

| Ah yes about resurrection.. I can copy paste my post from episode 8 and it'll still hold true. Though the thing is now I'm more than sure that we'll see revivals of the dead kind of more often going forward. Apart from the resurrection, and the absence of any higher stakes, this season did give some mega hype events, i.e., episodes 10 and 11, and can't say I wasn't a fan of them. Now there's more to that too, with Milim acting strange all of a sudden, I mean we still have that thing to deal with. Though that's for second part. This series can be something along the lines of "great" or any similar adjectives, if you set your brain into thinking Rimuru as an omnipotent, who like an omnipotent can do anything, literally anything. But that ain't the way of storytelling. Otherwise decent, 5/10. |
