Even though I think Luciel is a bit of a dull protagonist, he's a tough dude. He doesn't back down without attitude and can stand his ground like in this episode.

I do his magical talents improve though, cause they are not exactly up to potential yet...

I'm really sad that he failed to save all adventurers at the beginning, but the coach lifts my mood up, he's such a tall muscular guy!

This is a pretty fun show. The humor is not completely off the wall, the world seems interesting (at least some distinct aspects from other isekai fantasy-type settings), and protagonist is not obscenely overpowered or particularly unlikeable. And I like the fact there seems to be real stakes (it does seem like he was not able to save all the adventurers), without making the whole affair either incredibly depressing or completely glossing over it either.

Can't believe that I've trusted a comment about this show saying that the second episode will reveal this work's true colors. It's still as exciting as watching paint dry. Give me back my 20 minutes of time.

Its a shame they didnt get pekora to voice the pekora girl. They could of nailed it with merc sales. Quite enjoying this training eps, and the fact MC didnt level up a bazzilion points in skills or start out op is a refreshing change to shows this year. Lets go, more healing required!

Well he's motivated, I'll give him that. Feels weird watching an isekai where the mc isn't op from the get go.

This is probably gonna end up one of my lowest rated shows of the season, we’ll see how things go but I’m just finding it a chore to get thru this one. The girls are the saving grace for me.

There’s a couple things it’s got going for it that I appreciate though. The fact the MC isn’t really OP nor a messiah like figure creates some actual stakes in the series. Not being able to save all the adventurers earlier was a reminder of how much work he has to do to get better. Added some weight to the story.

I also like that the training arc isn’t just one episode and then MC is a perfect healer. If they actually show him consistently getting better as episodes go on that would make it much more enjoyable than other healer shows.

As someone who watches a lot of trash isekai, this has been an interesting watch so far. Slightly boring first 2 episodes, but set up to be an engaging series as a whole. If it is a case of him gradually getting better over the course of the season, rather than just a montage of training shots next episode and then he’s suddenly op that’d be great. Might be a show that benefits from binge watching rather than an episode a week though if that’s the case.

Pretty horrible animation, but the story's got guts I tell ya'. In fact, it's hitting the isekai tropes with style and having a lot of fun along the way. The LN is pretty immersive too, so I hope they up the animation quality a bit to drive some sales that way. I could use a few more volumes like those. For those of you who like the grind, I think you'll find this a satisfying watch.

Like someone else said, it's like watching paint dry. They are soooo on the nose with this show. Half of the scenes is him gawking at something, then the remaining half is split between bowing to someone or doing something so predictable it's as if I already watched this show. They went as far as saying "my village has no name".

Seriously...?

I'm getting disappointed in this adaptation every episode... ugh...
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

That was an alright episode imo but why are there windows in and underground training hall? lol

Still kinda split on dropping this or not. I really don't care for the sort of harem aspects but idk the concept is kind of interesting I guess and I do like how the MC isn't OP out of the gate too. Idk I'll give it like one more episode before I decide

The comments are about as entertaining as the episode.
Yes, a decent healer grind enriched with non-OP MC makes for a strong 2nd ep. The comic relief isn't too over the top and the drama isn't overly ponderous.
It's fun.

The art style isnt very appealling to me. The bunny girl also wound up in one scene suddenly gaining like 50 pounds How she was drawn with a thick as fuck neck lol

Only thing good about this is that Luceil isnt OP and probably not going to be forever weak from looks of it. Still no explanation on why he chose to be a healer to begin with.

Gotta respect Luciel for having the energy to continue that training after getting his ass kicked, only to then heal that girl. That was a nasty bite, surprised it didn't rip a chunk out of her. I would feel pretty scammery to request payment or something to heal someone. I wouldn't think adventurers would choose a support class like healer to try and make money. I guess it is a very needed position.

The fact that people think it's good simply because the mc is not overpowered is so fucking retarded, a series is not bad simply cause a main character is strong or even the strongest, it's how it's executed, and by what ive seen of this series so far it's pretty dull, but ive heard "some" LN readers say it's a good novel so im just gonna watch a couple more episodes too see what they were talking about.

Legit laughing my ass off at how fucking bad the trainer's mouth and facial hair is animated. His mouth and surrounding skin is just a separate image layer on top of a still image of a patch of facial hair. You can literally see his facial hair fading in and out when they touch a certain space as he speaks.

In an unjust world of corrupt people, Luciel wants to become a decent healer, and all of his energy is expended on adventurers who are on the verge of death.

The only way to improve his skills, is obviously at the Adventurer's Guild, and he starts out at the bottom rank, though all that he has going for him is his salaryman business mode to get some training for his marital arts in the form of the bodybuilding-like chief instructor Brod to take him in as a recovery support specialist. With a lil' bit motivation from Monika, Luciel trains hard, and is off on his first job.

Where that first job brings him to, it's off to Brod's training hall for Spartan hell training, though Luciel can be a bit delusional, but determined to make things happen, like land a blow on Brod somehow. The same methods, wash, rinse, repeat, and Luciel is getting there, though Brod upholds the promise that he shall be a healer who deals with everyone regardless of race. Some proposals for improvement, and living in the Guild do would better, through for free and all of his 3 meals covered, all in the vein of helping inexperienced adventurers like Luciel make it big when they step out of the guild.

A decent start to the new life for Luciel, since it's a needed position after all.

this was better, but still just some anime to kill time

where are other healers? some people should have enough money to heal often, I think when they hear about him healing for free or 1 silver they will come after him ;d

OP and ED are lame, both song and visuals

I hate it when anime/manga that I enjoyed ends, especially when there could be much longer plot and when I love main heroine :P

@MeanEYE

About "They went as far as saying "my village has no name"."

The MC is pretending to be an incompetent/ignorant rural person from a village with no name because that's how he would've referred to a village. If he is from some forgotten backwater, then his world would have only consisted of 'wilderness' and 'village'. Giving a name to a village didn't matter because it was just THE village/ THE home.
The MC carries on this act by asking the name of the town he was in by referring to it just as THE town.

Continuing from the previous episodes, he offers to help the injured adventures, however it comes out that the mc runs out of mana before he can save the last one which lead to his death. I really liked this early lesson for the mc that he isnt up to that level yet.
He goes to register to the adventures guild by receptionist bunny waifu nanaelle, the mc plans to be trained under an adventurer (Soon by Brod), offering to paying with free healing services. This is an interesting method from the mc to get around free training without costly fees, especially due to other healers being corrupt and over charging.
Adventures come with one with a grusome bite on her leg, as per contracted the mc heals up the adventures wounds for free. The anime doesnt hide injuries at all, i and the gruesome bite mark on this episode really showed that aspect.
At the end brod discusses how thankful he is for the mc for being uncorrupt and caring. The two gives off father-son relationship.

Luciel joins the adventurer's guild and wants to learn martial arts in exchange for healing. I'm liking this business mode but I doubt it'd be used much outside of talking to other chara.

For the first two episodes, it's still in the introduction phase. It's an isekai genre with a generic story beginning. The strength might lie in the detailed depiction of human nature if they were to end up in a different world, which may feel realistic
