| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Started off pretty damn slow. It only really kicked itself into gear at around the last quarter. Looks to be pretty interesting though. I like the mecha design, and the method of piloting seems to be pretty fun. |

| Well mecha anime, It would be nice if the second character was female instead of two dudes, this way I have bad feeling about main protagonists, i just hope this is not gonna turn into BL thing, that would be very unpleasant, considering i wanted to watch shounen, action , romance and i hope i'll get served what i ordered there .. | No shounen-ai and definitely no yaoi. There are a ton of reasons this anime is terrible but if that is what you are worried about go ahead without worries. It's a very bad NGE clone that misses everything that made NGE interesting. It's way to heavy on the angst early on, all the characters have the same damn face and the mechs all look like budget Gundams. Also, the psychological component is just weak as hell and it never makes you care about the characters. Whenever loads of people die it's just like meh there goes a bunch of blobs of pixels. |

Thx man, finally i know it's safe watch. As for that NGE copycat thing, That's alright, I'm not so much demanding viewer. Also I think i somewhat got used the fact that generally speaking> younger multimedia products tends to be lower quality then those from the past. Sometimes i even think that i had to idealize my memories or something hehe. BTW> nice avatar, Kara no kyoukai right ? I had similar one on my smart phone for few years and i couldn't bring myself to change that. Liked that anime |

| Dunno why but it reminded me of Eureka in a way as well as Neon Genesis. The artwork..is kinda crappy but I liked the themes so far. |

| So many NGE vibes already. That's usually a good thing, I guess. The animation looks nice, but those damn Gundam Seed character designs.. All the faces are the same. Also they introduced way too many characters already in the first episode instead easing us in to the series and the character designs aren't helping. Well, we'll see where this goes. |
| Pretty good start. The beginning was kind of slow, but the second have definitely made up for it! The remorseless death is intense. It was off-putting, but done with tact. I do agree that there's too many characters to start, but the similar faces doesn't really bother me. Each character's overall look and clothing differentiates them enough. At first I was turned off by the animation, but it already started to grow on me by the end of the ep. Plus the action/mech animation looks pretty stellar so far, so I think that'll make up for it. I've wanted to watch this for a while now, but kept passing it over. With a new season starting soon I figured it's about time. I hope it's as good as it looks like it's going to be. Urahara Out!! |

| So far it's pretty interesting with a sort of different premise I guess. Though I'm barely learning anything about all the characters despite that they all live on an island and only Kazuki can pilot. Love the OP and ED though :) |

| Episode starts with very cryptic and without explanations for most of the story, perhaps a way to make us understand melgar mood also Characters who see themselves for the first time the same things that we see now. Drawings with ups and downs, but the Characte Design is not bad, just not made in the best way. Very nice OST. |

| The characters are hard to recognize, LOL. I thought Soshi was a girl but I found out that he is a guy??? Damn anime logic!!! Little bit interesting before the fight. 2.9/5 |

| Loved how the tension and action really ramped up quickly. I usually enjoy a story that starts as a mystery and slowly reveals what's happened in the past. I see the Neon Genesis Evengalion comparisons along with a bit of Rahxephon and art like Full Metal Panic. |
| This felt like the perfect combination of gundam and evangelion and i dont know whether its great or gross. The ost seems pretty good but the hisashi character designs are slowly giving me prostate cancer. The BL vibes are unironically great and nearly saved the episode |
| Gundam Seed designs wooooo Surprisingly a well-directed episode after how the first few minutes made it look average. If this came out today, they would have 100% crammed the entire fight in this episode itself. I remember watching some episodes of this when I was a kid, don't remember much so let's see how this goes. |
