| That dumb b* Ririka literally made the mom and even the little brother leave. I'm glad that Mitsumi jumped in between when the tension became rather awkward, she made Shima laugh. Shima and the others did amazingly on the play, great job. Shima threw one facts line and that's that i also never know what my favorite food is. After the play Shima goes after Ririka and Chris and he tries to apologize formally but that idiot literally pushes him away and then SHE GOES AND CRIES? Bruh moment. The ceremony came to an end and it was an successful one, sadly Shima's group didn't win but they did their best. I actually respect Narumi's play. Hiroto sees Tokiko crying and decides to sit next to her to give a talk, which then he gives his bouquet to Tokiko. The festival is finally over for the 4 girls and they are exhausted and they decide to have a sleepover but Mitsumi has still a meeting so the sleepover needs to be rescheduled, they decide to do it after the finals/exams. Mitsumi sees Shima and the group and Kento asks if she is gonna tag along for an after party but she declines because she still has a meeting. Shima stops for a second and calls out Mitsumi and asks if he needs to help her but she says that he just needs to enjoy the party. Shima then again asks if he needs to help and then she says that she will let him know if she needs help. By the 3rd time I thought he was gonna confess to her or something lmao, but he seemed happy, which is nice. Wholesome finale.  |

| This anime ended up being deeper than I thought it would've been, at least for the experiences of both Mitsumi and Sousuke. The finale was good and although Ririka did cause Sousuke's mom to leave I think Mitsumi indirectly encouraged Sousuke to finally stand up to Ririka and move on so in that respect Ririka's appearance was good. It does appear that underage drinking caused Ririka (and probably Sousuke) to get in trouble which may have affected her acting prospects. Beyond that the ending was good but I was looking for more, such as more closure I suppose (it does leave it open for another season at least). The series as a whole was an enjoyable watch with friendship building and SoL settings. While Mitsumi is a smart hardworking girl, it was nice to see her fall on her face but better seeing her stand up and recover. The attention to detail was great throughout from rusted fences to the backgrounds, and the animation and character designs were good. Only negative points I could think of was the storyline could be bit slow/dull at times and the ending wasn't as impactful and conclusive as I had hoped. Overall I give this a 7/10. |
| that was a cute ending. i did enjoy the show, but as it went on it just felt a more stale? im hoping if it gets a second season it'll pick up the pace a little more. im glad shima was able to tell ririka to let him go so he can be happy though. |

| I'm gonna miss this series a lot. A pretty tame finale but still a solidly written one as a whole, and I need a season 2 for this. Haven't really enjoyed much from PA Works other than Shirobako and maybe something else I'm forgetting, but this is by far my favorite series they have been involved with. There hasn't been that special, memorable standalone episode that I feel like some of the other best shows this season have had, but it's consistency, it's likability and character depth for various people besides even the main two are something to behold. A really good adaptation of a great manga. I might go with a strong 8/10 for this just because it did not have 'amazing' episode to make the season feel truly fantastic (especially with the 2nd half being a little weaker than the first half), but I do think this series gets even better later on and there's so much potential for this anime to reach even higher. |
| Mitsumi made the Anteater defensive posture look so damn cute! She was brave enough to use it when things between Sousuke and Ririka looked to be escalating. Speaking of which, getting closure on the Sousuke and Ririka saga is difficult to pull off and while it's not the best closure for either of them, at least Sousuke can now lift his head up and move on now that the annoying weight has been lifted from his shoulders. The way that he delivered his speech to Ririka was admirable for him. Speaking of Ririka, I do find it hard to feel sympathetic for her, although it was welcoming to see her open up her emotions so much afterwards, showing her regrets about her decisions. Chris was spot on to say that she should never have guilt-trip Sousuke so much. Hopefully now, she'll start to redeem herself. Overall, I loved this series. P.A Works as been on a roll as of late, with their second ever manga adaptation being another great success on my eyes. I enjoyed the characters, soft looking visuals, very good production values and the satisfying OP and ED songs. I'll settle with an 8.5/10, which will be rounded up to a 9/10. The only thing I want now will be a second season of this series if possible. The only sequels that P.A Works has ever done was The Eccentric Family and the Shirobako Movie (Which I still need to watch one day), so here's hoping that they made another sequel soon with Skip & Loafer! =D |
| I was thinking this might be a drama filled final episode but it was thankfully not quite as explosive as I was thinking it would be and it actually resulted in something amazing for Shima, which is basically being free of Ririka lol. I was thinking she would maybe come around but no, she was a bitch to the end, her crying scene in the car did show she’s not completely bad but for now my opinion of her is still not a good one lol, but awesome for Shima once again. But with that the school festival is over, there were a lot of nice scenes featuring most of the characters we’ve met so far which I really liked, and that final scene between Shima and Mitsumi was a really nice one to end with, some may be upset there wasn’t really an ending but for me, an SoL ending like this is perfect, the characters will keep on living but we just won’t be there to see it, and then you get post SoL depression lol. But what a banger of a show this was, an amazing SoL Romance adapted beautifully by PA Works, fantastic characters which were really relatable a lot of the time and were overall very realistic, and a very nice and fitting ost as well. Just a perfect bundle of wholesome goodness, to put it simply lol, and I nearly didn’t pick this show for my list this spring but I’m so glad I did, I really hope it gets another season, it was so good. |

| Really loved this anime, it's whole season which is strange, no boring episodes. Im rating this episode 8/10 (maybe I expected a little more) but a 9/10 season and dont usually give that score. P.A. Works surprised me last season with Akiba Maido and now they did it again, my favourite anime of the season. |

| Fun, refreshing, and just makes you feel alive. Mitsumi is such a great main character, and I love how the drama was handled: not blowing anything out of proportion, but still getting you invested in the relationships between characters. I didn't intend to watch this at the start of the season, but I'm glad I picked it up. Enjoyed the first half more than the second, but I'm sure for most people it just got better and better. 7.3/10 |

| I’m glad I picked up on this anime after nearly forgetting about it from the trailer. Shima and Mitsumi are really refreshing characters and the character development between them was great, I’ll be waiting for a season two. Also, Ririka is an asshole. |

| Nice to see a Shima-focused episode to end the series off with (hopefully just for the time being). It's nice to see how the friendship between the two has advanced since the start of the show, and Iwakura's relationship with other prominent characters of the series. I'm glad we didn't get like a showdown between her and Saijou-san, it would've been too cliche and whatnot. Instead, it was great to see that Shima was able to convey something to her which helped her to overcome her issue as well. Man, got to feel for that second childhood friend though, that was kinda sneaky but well-timed, or so I thought xD. Hey, that middle finger censorship though, that was hilarious. 'Grats to Kanechika-senpai for helping the Drama Club land a solid hit! And a nice little moment between Takamine-senpai and the Pres. Didn't expect much from that so I wasn't disappointed, lol. No Nao-san and Fumi-chan in this episode, sadly. Solid 8/10 from here! Season 2, please! |

| A fairly mild finish to a good series, although I thought it was a little too mundane at times, and there weren't many emotional highs personally. Nevertheless, school life and student dynamics rarely feel so typically displayed in an anime, such as this one. 8/10. |

| It successfully delivered characters full of conflict and many faces. The relationships between them are also displayed very thoughtfuly, you can sense how they start to connect in various ways. A show to watch when you need that warm feeling in your chest. |

| most of this series was just alright, but the ending was really good. with the sunset and students heading out and that music playing, good times. but the whole season went by, and i still don't understand how ririka is a model. even mitsumi has a prettier face. oh, and that middle finger was hilarious. the typical highschool plot was a little meh at times but definitely one of the openings of the season and mitsumi one of the best girls of the season, the characters were pretty good and i especially liked yuzuki. although sosuke was the most interesting. solid 7/10 for me, another season would be nice. |

| So sad it is over. I've started rewatching already. Please give us Season 2! A perfect adaptation of a classic manga. Is it a romance? Or an anti-romance? Or just a slice of life high school soap opera? I don't care. Just give me more! |
| Shima felt that he had mistakes in the past that caused those closest to him to suffer, so in the end he chose to give up his own happiness and desires, he felt that he didn't deserve it because his past mistakes were holding him back. He's jealous, he wants to pursue or do things on his own terms and not because someone else told him to. It's selfish, but at the end of the day every human being has their own mistakes, regrets, and selfishness. The same goes for happiness. Thank you Ririka, hopefully she can also get the sincerity to let go of her past so she can be more and more happy in her life. Although I'm a bit sad that Shima's mom didn't watch his drama... So yeah, when we feel the burden that has been weighing on our shoulders is lifted, or basically when we feel relieved and happy, we will tend to be more 'outgoing' and talkative because everything will feel lighter. Mitsumi felt that from Shima and she was happy because it meant that Shima was opening up to her more and not afraid to show his other sides, including his weak side. It also shows that Mitsumi is indeed very special to Shima. The anime stops just as those fresh, sweet and sour high school love feelings start to grow (and it's not only to the main characters! ><) so I hope we can get a second season, if it's possible. |

| i knew it, Ririka definitely a Red Flag. Talking about mood killer, i hate every words from her mouth. This girl has no respect towards Shima mother at all. That aside, the human drama aspect from this Anime was very relatable and realistic. It just simple, down to earth not over sexualized fan service, no over the top stupid drama. It was very relaxing and enjoyable to watch every single week. Very Solid 8/10 imo. Hopefully there will be another Season. |

| I loved this episode and the series. Shima actually stood up for himself and understood his feelings, Mitsumi kept shining bright and I love her dearly, all of their friends are friendship goals, especially Fumi haha and I love the aunt and the other side characters too. |
