| Well Sorrimura is a clever man with that level of charisma. This episode was okay but felt like it was carried by him. He actually has a lot of personality compared to rest of the cast. At least I find his character more entertaining than..Polka. |

| I just realized that the emblem was in the OP the whole time What's up with the translated text being on top of the japanese text? It's hard to see The scene with the fire breathing bug was actually spooky I almost forgot that Xiaoyu had his limbs cut off. So he's like a cyborg, and quite a badass one at that. |

| Polka and Hosorogi are so close to breaking the case wide open, though there are a few leads left to thread together. While the police are on the trail of the Phantom Solitaire, he is having a fortune telling session with the Corpse God, though both sides are careful not to tread on each other's paths, especially with the old nation's emblem. And sure enough, Ten'a Sorimura may have hit the jackpot when finding out that the Corpse God is the one he's looking for, with Tsubalo and Arase having hopes that the overall police will help them in the case, with people like Danjo Tozawa and Ranmaru Yutsu. The Phantom Solitaire knows of the Corpse God Polka Shinoyama, but who he faced was Xiaoyu instead. The introspection of the Corpse God's past, and the Fire-Breathing Bug has Polka awaken the Corpse God, along with the one that knows his actual origin. For the time being, Ten'a has to face Xiaoyu, and with more people in the background, what awaits the cliffhanger for next week's finale before the 2nd Cour in Fall? |

| Good we get a better backstory for the corpse god, we got to know his teacher and an idea how he got his powers. Also Solitaire is still the best character in this anime, he makes the anime way more fun to watch lol |
| Oh man, the number of things happening in the last two minutes of the episodes are insane, I really wonder how much information we'll have in the final episode before the second part. The mystery in this mystery anime keeps thickening, somes would say it's going quite slowly and it's only dialogue but I don't mind, I still like it for now. Excited to see epic things in the final episode next monday ! |

| love that Solitaire had a whole speech for Polka/Corpse god then xiaoyu came out he be like: "huh? who's this guy?" somehow I laughed out loud at that scene |
| Yeah this story can be a bit hard to follow given the number of characters involved (I had almost forgotten about Lemmings). I do remember that Xiaoyu had his limbs cut off so now he has cyborg ones that can turn into weapons (cool), although he also has super sensitive hearing as he can hear Polka's conversations and that Solitaire had jumped onto the roof. I understand that the symbol that everyone wants to know the meaning of is from the Corpse God's timeline but what I don't fully understand is why everyone in the present time is so obsessed over finding out its origin/meaning, like will it give them power or something? Maybe we'll find out in the finale or in the next cour (unless I missed it from a previous episode). Side note, too bad we didn't see Misaki or at least Lisa. |

Solitaire: Desired to witness real magic and was told that the pursuing the symbol would let him to fulfill this desire. Hosorogi and Iwanome: Used to investigate the corrupts in police force that related to the symbol (aka. the people from the other world had already infiltrated the police force). Hosorogi was killed by these people and Iwanome is now trying to catch the Solitaire because of his link to the symbol. |
| So...is the fire-breathing bug "hunting" Corpse God? Or merely interested in "contacting him" (like I assume Solitaire is/was doing)....that's really my biggest question here that will hopefully be answered in the finale.... Also hope Corpse god actually goes all out and rages (wrecks havoc) or something like he does in the OP sequence cuz I need another dose of epic undeads wrecking havoc before this season part 1 ends. It's been rather chill/tame for most of these eps imo |

| I feel like once this anime ends I will start reading the manga. T_T Also, Sorimura is so funny pls. I don't know whether to take him seriously or not lol. I wonder who's the girl in a wheelchair that Corpse God mentioned? Iwanome was really cool in this episode. Loved the 2 new comer too (Yatsu and the other guy Iwa called Pops, I forgot his name lol). Those two seems cool. :) |

| All this build up and new characters so much, it's just too short to be worth having so much stuff going on. Some Dryad girl shows in a dream, along with some weird bone lady? This anime is just way too rushed. I like the content, but it's a mess. They waste too much time showing the cops. Phantom is a fun character though, reminds me of Gentle Criminal. This anime is simply just watchable at this point. I look forward to nothing, really... Hearing Kagome Kagome was a nice noslatic treat though, got me remember the Chaos Head. |
