Was wondering how many days/weeks it took you to complete your favorite shows. Me personally most of my 10s I watched over an unexpectedly large time regardless of length. (Granted almost all of them are 40+ episodes.) While the majority of my 9s were in the 12 - 24 episodes range. (And I watched pretty quick, 2 - 3 days if it wasn't airing) Anyways the 2 questions I wanted to ask were, how long it took you on average for each of your 10s. And how many episodes your 8 - 9 scores are. |

Began in 2007 when it was airing and I kept rewatching Bleach over and over untill it ended so it took me around 5 years to finish it. [as the last episode aired in 2012, forgot the month] For the other questions [gonna check anime+ and others so soon will edit]: 10s - when I watch the last episode and I know that I've enjoyed watching it. Exception are Bleach which I gave a rating before aswell as To your eternity S1 when I gave it a score after 12th episode. Most of them should have 12 around episodes, some will have 20-24 or more 8-9 - I guess same According to anime+ 10s: 852.23 hrs spent on all anime I've rated 10 which is 23.41% of my whole time in Mal 9s: 679.21hrs which is 18.6%. 8s: 595hrs which is 16.35% Highest mean score for episode count is 8,73 for titles of 14-26 eps. [When anime is good I can watch it in one day if it doesn't have more than 30 episodes - Yesterday I've got motivation and I've pulled 33 episodes watching marathon with a break to mow the grass from the last part of my garden so pehaps I'd be able to watch even more. Today I have already 14 and from what I plan to watch I guess maybe I'd hit 20+] |

I watched Watamote over 2 days, it's only 12 episodes though. The longest show in my favorites is Ranma 1/2, which took me several months to watch. I think it is around 160 episodes. I usually watch at most two or three episodes a day these days, partly because if I'm watching a show that I like, I like to spread it out so that I don't watch the whole show in a couple days. Also I don't have as much free time as I used to so I don't watch as much anymore. |

One Piece- It was the first anime that I watched aside from Bakugan. I was and still am pretty obsessed with it. It was the only anime I watched until I got to the Dressrosa arc I think. Mob Psycho- The two seasons were already out by then. So maybe two weeks or maybe even one. It was during pandemic Ace of the Diamond- I can't give you an exact time frame but I was pretty obsessed with it. One time, I spent pretty much the whole day watching it. Can't be bothered for the rest. Long story short, Most of my top rated shows, I enjoyed so I binged and then post-show depression kicked in. |

I watched Legend of the Galactic Heroes in around four months. I had to make a pause in between watching due to certain events in the series that really affected me, then basically binged the remaining episodes. For the rest of my favorites, I usually take around a month or so to finish a shorter (12 to 26) episode series. One franchise that I've kept up with for years is Gundam, I watched my first Gundam series around 2017/2018 and to this day I'm still watching some sequels and spinoffs. |

As quickly as humanly possible, accounting for things like sleeping, eating and bathroom breaks. Not anime, but I recently watched Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul back to back, took me like ten days to get through. Worth it. Will do the same thing for anime I like, provided I have the time and it is complete. Watched Hunter x Hunter in 4 days. Better to binge stuff, so your head is filled with all the information. If you space it out too much, you forget things and won't be able to appreciate the small details. |

I'm a binger myself, once I'm super invested I start obsessing and I have to see what happens next. I first watched Evangelion late at night on a Thursday I stayed up all night until about episode 8 when Asuka was introduced, then when I got home from school the following day on Friday I binged straight from episode 9 all the way to End of Eva. It was like 1 am when I finished and I didn't even eat dinner lol. |

Depends. As short a time as a few hours and as long a time a a year or two depending on the format (movie, OVA, series), length, how much free time I had, and whether or not it was completed at the time or currently airing. If I have the time, I can easily finish a completed 13 episode series in under 6 hours and 26 episode show in under 12 hours. Series longer than that take a few days. Currently airing series air one episode per week for how many episodes there are of said series and take months or years to finish. |

I would recommend either starting with an AU series or looking into the UC timeline (Gundam 0080 is a pretty short and beginner friendly entry) |

@EverRealm I started One Piece back in 2017. I didn't start from the beginning tho. I had already read the manga up to Thriller Bark so I started from there. I caught up maybe at the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021. So It took me 4 years, more or less. I definitely had weeks where I was speeding through episodes and some other times, I was watching some show on Netflix. |

Will do the same thing for anime I like, provided I have the time and it is complete. Watched Hunter x Hunter in 4 days. Better to binge stuff, so your head is filled with all the information. If you space it out too much, you forget things and won't be able to appreciate the small details. Mod Edit: Merged posts Take some time to get the info out of your head, then give it a watch. One after the other, for optimal viewing pleasure. |

I paused it initially after a few eps so I don't have a good estimate, but I want to say maybe 2 weeks for 38 eps + the movie? It usually doesn't take me that long to finish stuff. I don't rate stuff anymore but I hold in somewhat high regard anime i've finished in less than a day - 3 |

I think watched all of Legend of the Galactic Heroes in like 2 1/2 weeks. It was great I wasn't doing much at the time had a lot free time. After watching like the first main arch I just got so drawn in and then watched like 60-70 episodes in one week which is one of the highest amount of episodes i have watched in a week. Slow down after that where I finished up the late 20 or some episodes the next week. |

Technically it took me a year from start to end, because Netflix released the first batch of episodes on December 1st 2021 and the last batch on December 1st 2022, but if we're just talking about the time it took me to actually watch each individual batch of episodes when they dropped, just a couple of hours. I stayed up until midnight so I could watch them as soon as possible and I binged them the second that they dropped. (I already read the manga, so I knew what to expect, but I was very excited to see it adapted into anime. Especially the last batch of episodes) |

EverRealm said: BitChilly said: I can't watch an entire show by itself within a days time personally, (maybe when I first started). But I have heard good things about 86I finished 86 at around I think 3 days? If I rewatch it now, I could probably binge-watch it within a day. Sorry to butt in, there are alternative views on 86: - Instead of actually serious show it's practically a "cry porn", just for the sake of it. - Its messages make sense, but they are quite superficial. Like screaming "Racism is bad" at everybody's face, but not actually doing much in political sense against it. Some problems in the worlbuilding too: - Racism or not the way how the war efforts are organized is nonsensical if those guys actually want to win. - The circumstances who led to said war are quite weird too. - The MC is never prosecuted for her ant-racism propaganda by the supposedly authoritarian government she speaks against. |

On the first watch, if it's a 12 episode anime, probably like two days. I definitely binge watch shows if I like them. On the second to infinite watch, it'd be 4-6 days, or 2 weeks. Hunter x Hunter took me like a month or two the first time I watched it probably? |

around two months to finish a 50 episode series, so i watched like 1 episode a day, reason being that its my favourite so i wanted to slowly consume it and stay relieved to think that i still have more of it left in the coming future. sad that it finished, and also sad that it hadnt gotten a new season for over 5 years |

I finished Hunter x Hunter (148 eps) in 48 days...it was in the middle of college entrance exams too. Curse my horrible self-control, wouldn't have started it then if I knew I would like it so much. My other two 10s, Haikyuu (25 eps) and Chihayafuru (24 eps), took me 2 days (rewatch) and 5 days, respectively. I usually like to binge-watch shows so most of my 8-9s probably took under 5 days for me to finish too. Unless it was airing at the time, in which case I'd watched it weekly on the day the episodes came out. |

EverRealm said: A long series being one of your favorites sounds really nice. Gintama is the only show I have like that, if you had to estimate, how many times do you think you rewatched it? I've made once "calculations" just assumption on how many times I've seen Bleach it was made for fun so the margin of mistake is huge just in case. [In addition to this: Project Senpai stopped posting due to copystrikes, BrianxStephanie's and Awaken stays as it was and I know about 3-4+ more youtube reactors for which I might go later when I'd go bored and wouldn't find anything to watch] Zettaiken said: My fav: Bleach - 16 times whole rewatch. Canon arcs over 20-40 times. Seen around 10+ reaction series in Youtube Bleach TYBW - One watch, over 20 reaction youtube, few analyses + was reading Manga at college during lectures, when it was airing so I was fresh with what is gonna to happen + analyses of Flame of Rebirth youtube + his discord discussions and debates about the episodes. Bleach TYBW Seperation - Same as with Part 1, but it will be in summer of this year. Movie 1 of Bleach - One watch, 5+ Reactions youtube Movie 2 of Bleach - One watch, 1-2 reactions Movie 3 of Bleach - One watch, 1-2 reactions Movie 4 of Bleach - One watch, 5+ reactions Bleach Ova - 2 watches, 1-3+ reactions Cyberpunk Edgerunners - One watch [JP], One watch [PL Dub], 10+ reactions Ace of Diamond - One watch, Ayola xzone reactions. Around 1/3 of my whole episode counts are just Bleach rewatches 16x366 = 5856 episodes. Considering that I've watched again for the same amount of Canon episodes [very possible tbh that I've seen them that much as in Primary School/Middle School when I was bored and had nothing to watch while eating I was repeating the Soul Society arc or Hueco Mundo arc etc.] -> 166 [I am counting here also 342 and 343 episodes as they are mixed canon] x 16 = 2656 Reactions are not counted in Mal but in that case -> 26560 "episodes" [For those who might not believe that I found around 10 reactions: Heisuten -> He was recording with Rice till Arrancar arc than later separated [Rice Reacts past nick was Lil Chinq], Dee Bee Geek Sama DBG has deleted already due to copystrikes, JamiUwu [SuperMechaFrieza], Rice Reacts, Struckbybelz, Neel Desai, According to Lucky, Black Genie, Helwa, Kejsi] -> 35072 episode counts when it comes only to Bleach Season 1 watches x) If we would count Reaction watches in Mal than most likely around 90-95% of my whole episode count including Reactions on Youtube it would be only Bleach Now for the neat part, if I'll take all my Reactions watches from Youtube, Rewatches of Sub-Arcs, Rewatches of Whole Bleach etc. which are 35072 "episodes" and if I will divide it through all 366 episodes including Fillers here: 35072/366= 95,825. I've almost "seen" whole Bleach 96 times. + I am in process of watching 3 another Reactions -> Brian x Stephanie [Began Soul Society Arc], Awake Productions [She is in the same pace as BrianSteph] and Project Senpai [Soon they'll begin Hueco Mundo arc]. so I am not done with Bleach yet. Later maybe I'll force myself to watch The Normies who watches Bleach with English Dub. That's not even a joke. |
