| Bakemonogatari and Monogatari and its sequels and prequels I find to have really good animation. The only thing I didn't like was trying to read main characters inner dialog/monologue text/sub. Too much rewinding and pausing to read all that. Which is why I never watched all the sequels, ovas and movies. |

I don't know if I can name one or the other specifically as a winner, but I believe that almost all comparisons to Redline are basically unfair because the film took almost a decade to produce. I haven't seen it yet, but I think Akira deserves a mention in that department as well, as the production vision employed in the film revolutionized the industry. If we disregard movies and take a clipping of only seasonal anime, the denomination would probably be more difficult. Many point to Violet Evergarden, which I believe is the most consistent example of animation and art. However, if we analyze it based on the amount of sakuga and fluidity prevailing over consistency, Mob Psycho 100 II would be among the favorites. |

| I think fate series (from ufotable) have a bit better animation so its the top for me. Demon slayer comes at a close second but with the promise we are getting for the upcoming seasons by ufotable, I believe it will become the best animated anime in history. |

| absolutely baffles me not seeing mushoku tensei mentioned once in the front page, its animation completely blows dempn slayer out of the water, and i can't say i've seen a single anime that comes close to beating it in terms of animation quality, even a pointless scene of some bread being torn is more fluid and has more of a budget than entire anime airing, studio bind blows any project out of the water, if they had their hands on the popular shows with wide demographics it would throw most other studios out of business within a year. |
