| Cute episode of New Years celebration. They even got the cast into kimonos and we got a lot of popcorn entertainment moments from this. Of course this anime loves to celebrate these special occasions in the most amusing way possible. A lot of memories were made with those photos! |

| Very nice and wholesome episode. Momiji's goth look was cool. Lol at that chuuni moment. Cute group selfie. The girls looked great in their kimonos. :3 Mihari's kissing frenzy reminded me of Chitose from Yuru Yuri. x3 |

| The Christmas spirit rolls around, and Mihari having a legit date, it's certainly shocking for Mahiro. Mahiro being uneasy of his younger sister's date, and turns out that it's Momiki's sister Kaede. Since they are already outside, might as well follow through all the way by stalking them from behind. But it gets tired after a while, and both Momiji and Mahiro eventually do their own shopping as well. And hot damn, Momiji in a gothic clothing, she's the chuunibyou awakened lols. A double date if you can call it that, and the sisters celebrate Christmas till no end of its glamour. Being a girl suddenly isn't that bad after all. The real reason: getting her only brother a scarf as a surprise present. After Christmas, comes the New Year's, and apart from money given, it's the mandatory visit to the shrine. Asahi and Miyo joins the festivities, and both Momiji and Mahiro looked like they're about to have their Yuri moment there. With the kimonos on and the girls relaxing, a bit of amazake has both Kaede and Mihari drunk with kisses lols, and Miyo sure loves the hell outta it. Good festivities for all. |

| It’s hilarious that the onimai narrative was that Mihari is this awful person for transforming Mahiro into a girl and that it’s pedo bait etc etc when in reality it’s literally the cutest shit ever with girls just bonding and coming into their own. Gets way too much hate and not enough love. That Christmas montage was so fucking cute. Momiji slowly walking over to Mahiro to take a picture together was adorable |

| Welp Mahiro was certainly shocked to hear that Mihari had a date when in reality she was going shopping with Kaede to Mahiro's relief. She even invited Momiji with her as a sort of escort around crowded places. Momiji, not wanting to end her day out with Mahiro short suggests that they follow the 2 older sisters around. In the end they are found out and catch Momiji starting to go through her chuunibyou phase. The 4 end up spending the night wandering the streets filled with Christmas lights which was a sweet moment, the sweetest moment was when Mihari gave Mahiro her Christmas gift and also the moment of Momiji asking Mahiro for a photo!! Its New Years and that can only mean one thing. Shrine Visit! We get the whole host of characters dressed up in Kimonos with Momiji in a mens Hakama fully embracing the Momijiro name. The group end up going to Kaede's house for lunch where they have osechi. Note to be taken! Mihari needs to be kept away from alcohol at all times lol. Miyo had a feast watching Mihari kissing Kaede. Although I do wonder what Mahiro wished for? Mabye something to do with his sister. For an anime like this the production is so so good! |

| Another great and entertaining episode, this has become one of my favorite animes of the season. Mahiro's reaction to Mihari having a date was funny and at first I also thought it was with a dude but the moment Momiji arrived I figured it was with Kaede. | This episode kinda made me sad. I don't know if Christmas and New Years did it but it made me think that these memories Mahiro is making are basically going to be irrelevant if she turns back into a man. These connections, these friendships are going to disappear. When I think about that I do feel bad for Mahiro but I feel worse for the friends she has made along the way especially Momiji. I would have thought Mahiro would have realized During Christmas pictures that when she turns back into a man these relationships will also disappear, but maybe in the upcoming episodes. I'm starting to dislike Mihari a little as well due to these reasons. Like it's implied Mahiro will be a woman forever but I feel like that was not Mihari's initial intent. It was a fine episode just made me think about whats to come and a little sad. |

| The animation this episode was just so stunning, I almost want to go watch it all over again right now~ So many shenanigans that I loved this episode! Mahiro and Momiji tailing their sisters was filled with great moments, like Momiji getting all confused and flustered about the idea of a date with Mahiro, so cute! And her going all chuunibyou was hilarious! Mihari giving her brother the scarf was so sweet, I really adore these short but touching moments we get between them. ♡ And then we had New Year's with Momiji wearing a men's hakama. And Mihari getting drunk, omg. She really went for that kiss with Kaede... Oh, and Miyo was loving it, because of course she was lmao. But my absolute favorite was the sequence with no dialogue, just the lights and Christmas atmosphere; it showed so much through (beautiful) animation alone. That really was something special, just so many warm feelings throughout that entire part, as they let the animation speak for itself. I feel like a lot of people have been saying this throughout the season, but I'll forever be floored at how much I've genuinely come to love this show. Back when I learned about the premise, I never would have imagined I'd be tearing up just from seeing this little group doing Christmas things. It was way too precious! Just a really great holiday episode, I couldn't have asked for anything more. |

| A fantastic Christmas and New Years combo episode, both had a lot of great bits. I liked the little reference to KFC in the first half because I know it’s a thing in Japan to eat fried chicken around Christmas, also nice to see the colonel lol. It was really fun watching Mahiro and Momiji stalk Kaede and Mihari, but of course they got found out eventually, not before we got Momiji into some epic outfits, that second one was a new level lol. And I really loved the silent scene with just music, it worked really well and the visuals laid everything out perfectly without a word needing to be spoken. And the new years bit wasn’t short of great bits either, got some nice kimono goodness during the classic shrine visit from most of the girls, but the best part was what came after with drunk rampaging Mihari lol, anyone who wasn’t wise enough to leave was caught in the crossfire, loved Miyo’s reaction after it happened lol. |

| That was another great episode. I'm not usually in the mood for Christmas episodes, but this one was very sweet. All the groups kimonos were great, Momiji became a chuuni, and Mihari's drunken rampage was hilarious Honestly I'm enjoying this show way more than I thought I would; When I first saw it I thought it was going to be a trashy ecchi show but it turned out to be so wholesome and hilarious. Bind's animation is awesome too. |

| Anyone who speaks flower language know what this means? It appears right after Mahiro makes his wish at the shrine. To me the only one that makes sense is that he wished to be a girl forever, but maybe this is a clue? |

One is that Momiji is depicted as a tomboy girl who may be romantically into Mahiro. If it is certain that Mahiro will live as a girl from here on, it would make more sense to introduce Momiji as a boy who is into Mahiro which make for more comedic situations. Another is that Mihari still keeps calling him onii-chan. | Looks like Rikka Takanashi as a new Chuunibyou rival in the form of Momiji! XD Once more, we had a really wholesome episode focusing on Christmas and New Years. Mihari and Kaede had a good time shopping together, as did Mahrio and Momiji when they're tailing the former duo. Despite her complaints at first, I think Momiji looks beautiful in the first outfit she tried on in the clothes store. Although she's a tomboy, the outfit really suited her charms. Still, it had nothing on the second outfit, which awoken her Chuunibyou powers! After that, both pairings got together and they had a fun time, which was shown really well when the dialogue stopped and only the animation and music did the talking instead. Very effective! =) The New Years segment was also amusing, too. Mahiro looked cute in her kimono (Her expression was hilarious, though), with the same compliment to Kaede's kimono. Afterwards, the group hung out back home, where we found out that Mihari can't handle alcohol at all. One sip was all that was needed before she went in to kiss a surprised Kaede, which was heaven in Miyo's eyes, as expected. =P |

| Great Christmas and New Year episode with the usual alcohol trope for Mihari and we got a yuri kiss thanks to that xD I felt like the animation was especially good during this episode |
