Ranko got...acorns? That was so random but hey, this episode was still about maids. Seems some maids in this show are still very rude with their words.

This episode had the most maids I've ever seen in an anime this entire year. Makes sense though since it's a competition for the best maid. Very fierce competition tbh.

Ton Tokoton won and that dude is dead. Nagi is now super mad, it is not a good sign for Ton Tokoton. However, I think they can find a solution with their own styles.

Well, Nagi is pissed because the foundations of her little paradise are being shaked and some rebellious punks are undermining her authority. She cannot just dispose of them outright, because disposing someone for winning would make her look bad, so Otaku guy had to take the bullet (literally) for failing to keep them in check.
Nagi will do whatever it takes to toss Piggies back to the bottom.

I assume that Ranko's "fan" guy will make an appearance again and the two are planning something. Something tells me this guy was a professional.

Damn, so the Akibahara maid war goes back centuries into the Meiji era? Sure, it's a battle of the century that is time endless.

The Akiba Maid Festival organized by the sole Creatureland group, and with the legend that is Lady Omoe, it's a boost for the maid that wins for her cafe. And since this is a hierarchy order, the Moe Moe Hierarchy to be precise, Oinky Doink Cafe ranks dead last to get all the unpleasantry stuff. Even worse, it's rigged so that only one group is able to win, and the deal is on, otherwise they get disowned. Certainly, seeing Nagomi do her own stuff on her own accord, they decide to go with it anyways.

The festival like Animal Farm, and the cafe's hardcore customers can only find them outside the area, which is intentional to keep them out of sight. With Manager nowhere to be found and fishing for fish while it communicates pep talk to her, the maids, having bear an embarrassing oversight thanks to Nagomi, they paid the price for their disobedience.

Time for the Lady Omoe Climb, and Oinky Doink Café cuts the queue to rebel against the ecosystem with Nagomi in the lead to secure the cafe's standing with Ranko being Best Support maid to land the W. This easily pisses off Nagi, but the real test is yet to come with Otaku debt collector paying the price with his life.

What a massive disappointment, and a massive W to the pigs. Pigsty FTW!

I dunno, this might have been the tamest, and perhaps the worst episode of the series thus far. It is truly shocking that Nagomi still hasn’t embraced the original maid culture, nor has she pushed the maid culture to a different direction yet. While the maid ecosystem drama was mildly entertaining, it just felt somewhat boring. At this point, I don’t know if there’s enough runway for this show to pull off one last show-stopping hit, but I won’t hold my breath in hoping for that.

As for the episode, it was a maid festival, with a class system to make things interesting, and more of a tough time for Ton Tokoton. The competition was supposedly rigged from the start, but oh shoot, they didn’t read the script!

With the ecosystem in utter disarray, the debt collector must pay, and Nagi is seething. The pigs are in for it now...

It was frustrating at first in seeing our Oinky Doink maids bow their heads in apology after Nagomi's selfless attempt to kickstart their sales, but I'm glad that the girls all decided to ignore the petty "ecosystem" and the contest rules and make their own move during the festival's main event.

After some rather exciting moments and a quick save from Ranko, Nagomi won the Lady Omoe contest for Oinky Doink. Although the manager was wallowing in her usual self-pity, at least she didn't have to worry too much for her maids as they did their cafe proud. =)

However, Nagi was unimpressed with things not going to plan. As a result, she killed off the otaku dude (long overdue, but still surprised me a bit here) while showing her venomously angry face. Oinky Doink might've won the contest, but I feel that they're going to feel Nagi's wrath very soon. I look forward to seeing how our maids will handle their next obstacle.

The unrelenting stress is immensely damaging the manager's already poor mental health.
That or maybe she's seriously awakened some ESP powers.

That guy went to check on Ranko and the girls while Okachimachi lied down in close proximity of the stall and that suggests that he's probably not the person inside the costume, unless he doesn't care anymore about being exposed.

Out of all the episodes, this is my favorite. Not only Nagomi representing Oinky Doink won the race to become possibly the sole heir of Creatureland Group; (and fulfilling Nerula's hopes of changing the way maids are) but the loan shark/debt collector is dead. I proudly cackle out so loudly that I have no pity for that guy who keeps throwing death sentences to our "Sisterhood of the Travelling Maids"

No offense to his VA, but I kind of dislike his character in the show; despite he did a fine job. He dare to kiss his own butt to Samson and this is what he get. We will see you in Buddy Daddies then, Uchiyama.

Nagomi standing up for her closest friends and acknowledge their strengths and characteristics of a true maid sold me. I'm rather impressed by her progression so far.

I almost forgot Yasuho the cafe manager showcases her genuine concern for Nagomi during her fishing hours and after witnessing her winning the race. Like wow girl, you did a good job on being decent for once or many times.

Nagi|Uzuko expressing raw anger and disgust means the internal rift will initiate in the last three remaining parts.

And thus the ultimate purge against all maid mafias begin...next week of course.

I was waiting for that gunshot at the end. :D Wouldn't be Akiba Maid Sensou if at least one person didn't die by the end of the episode.

The audience cheers on the underdog, seemingly unaware of the brutal maid hierarchy... the crowd went wild for Nagomi's win! I wonder, are the maid cafe patrons really not aware of all the criminal activity that goes on?

Loved those three wholesome dudes who were there to support Tontokoton.

Ouch, fishie!

The Prime Otaku was taken out... Damn, nobody is safe in the underworld. I mean he indeed failed to keep the pigsty in check, not for the first time, but rather for the last time. Moe moe kyuun.

Nagomi though really developing here, standing up for her fellow maids once again and even fighting back against the Lions, of course she is not a fighter like Ranko, but I am impressed at how far she has come.

Things are about to become real messy at the pigsty!

I was happy with the possible revelation of the panda, who turned out to be Ranko's fan or lover. Ton Tokoton fans are good people.

Nagomi rocked this episode, not afraid to fight.
Ton Tokoton should be the most valued Maid Café for everything it has done for the group, this zoo must end!

I like how the fight heats up each episode, Ton Tokoton is a bomb, he took down a rival and looks like he's going to do the same to everyone in Akiba! Moe Moe!
I thought this otaku was an asshole and I just have to say that he won't be missed.

oh yeah sweet sweet satisfaction to see oinky doinky at the top. our girls did it. now no one can stop them from becoming the top cafe. the only thing they needed was more exposure and customers which this festival did for them.

and no reason to fear nagi. it's nothing that a nice headshot won't solve.

5/5.

I would guess Nagomi and her cafe manager Yasuko would most likely survive in the end. Or maybe just herself.

However if all Tontokoton gang are alive with severe wounds after a massive beatdown, that will be fine by me too.

I'm sure Nagi will plot some type of revenge but with Ranko around it won't be easy. In fact, I'm going to make a prediction, Nagi will either die or bow down to Ranko and the Ton Tokoton cafe.

Good to see the Nerura fans turned Nagomi fans and Ranko coming to the fest to support Ton Tokoton also the. But Nagi's face tho that's most angry face I've seen in anime in a while.
