| This episode was cute especially with the cat. Urushi and Ayumu gets closer literally everyday with their relationship. Meanwhile in theaters, we also got a movie date segment between Sakurako and Takeru. What a cute pair. Takeru's reactions were priceless especially with the imaginations going on in his head. |

| Well they had a great time in the book shop and the restaurant the stories about her being small where funny and her cat seems to know what's going on even helping them. Sakurako is really good at teasing it was funny to watch, tho the movie was pretty predictable. We need more of that cat tho!! |

| Little Urushi being all covered in sauce, was the most unexpectedly cute thing i saw today. The grumpy old man seemed nice too. Also her cat likes the dude, thats it .. the deal has been sealed ladies and gentlemen, its the nature itself speaking, nothing to do against that. But i have a question, did the hypnosis girl hypnotized the cinema people for a free ticket ? O.O, Also poor Johnny, could not keep his wood in line, i too have that problem from time to time. |

| Dang, Urushi's dream sure is one of legit romance, and the New Year's celebration continues. What's on Tanaka's mind...is more of Shogi, and the re-training of the mind...that's more like he's hitting on her. Urushi's usual hangout of an okonomiyaki restaurant with the old geezer that was friends with her deceased grandfather, that is where Urushi's love for Shogi started. He may hate it, but he also has no hard feelings, which is OK. Young Urushi's backstory...sure is interesting, but embarrassing for the story told now, which of course, is acceptance. And petting a stray cat on their way home, Urushi sure gets flustered thinking of herself as a pet. But at the very least, Tanaka now learns more about the girl alongside him. Takeru and Sakurako on their outdoor date watching a movie based on the latter's favourite book...and his attention sways towards the girl, which the latter copies the movie scenes to re-enact the romance in real life, yeah...that's some affection enough. And getting intimate enough to have calls in the dead of night, the usual couple's dream, both Urushi and Tanaka really had this moment. One can hope that both Senpai and Kouhai have that lewd moment...? But why you gotta sleep so soon Tanaka? Now your girl can't have a good night's sleep... |

| Great episode! Urushi's first dream of the year was of nearly kissing Ayumu xD. They met each other by coincidence outside of the bookshop. Ayumu buys volume 1 of the manga that Urushi reads. They both go to a restaurant which is owned by an old man that Urushi's grandfather was friends with. Seems her grandfather taught her to play shogi as well. Seems that old man is a bit of a tsundere lol. Urushi was embarrassed of the old man telling Ayumu what she was like when she was younger xD. Urushi owns a cat called Kin and Ayumu said pets resemble their owners. He then continued by complimenting the cat a lot... Meanwhile, Takeru and Sakurako were watching a movie together... But it was hard for it to be enjoyable to Takeru considering Sakurako was copying what happened in the movie to him! Urushi calls Ayumu at night 'Now that I got to hear your voice, I think I will have good dreams'. Of course, Urushi won't admit the dream she had! Looking forward to the next episode! |

| Awwww urushi and and Ayumu are genuinely the sweetest thing ever. That phone call before bed was everything Takeru and Sakurako movie date was super cute as well. I love how much progress both ships are making. |

| This was a really Great episode Sakurako and Takeru's movie date was very sweet and they make such a cute couple but Ayumu and Urushi talking to each other before they go to sleep has to be the sweetest and most wholesome moment so far this series |

| "Wet dream", wholesome dinner date, funny movie date and late night phone call, this was an intimate episode full of progression. My favorite part on the heartfelt side was the ending of the first half, the funniest segment however was Takeru's theatre visit with Sakurako. |

| Holy shit this episode was so good. No doubt best episode till now. Ayumu living my dream right there, getting liked by a cat so much that it doesn't wanna leave you. Lucky mf. The Takeru part was hilarious, Sakurako was smooth lmao. But wtf was that movie ending x_x This episode had a nice mixture of wholesomeness, cuteness, comedy and romance. Loved this episode. Can't wait to watch next one. |

| We were treated to not one, but two really cute "dates" in this episode and both were equally as wholesome and amusing as the other. Firstly was Urushi encountering Ayumu in town, so they went together into a book store before heading to a local okonomiyaki restaurant that Urushi was very familiar with due to the owner being friends with her late grandfather. After that, Ayumu made a super quick friendship with Urushi's cat that the little cutie was all over him. Next up, we had the movie date with Sakurako and Takeru. The movie's plot and ending was pretty weird and interesting, but what made this segment so damn good was Sakurako copying what the movie was doing. My respect for her has gone through the roof now and it does make me wonder if she really was going to kiss Takeru had the movie not done its sudden plot twist ending that caught their attention so quickly. Either way, their date was super cute! ^_^ Lastly, Urushi accidentally called Ayumu in a video call and, once again, I respect how Ayumu says whats on his mind without hesitation. He was so smooth with his words that Urushi couldn't get to sleep at all! XD I think this is the best episode of this series so far. It had me laughing plenty of times, but also grinning with how many cute interactions there was. |

| That old man really does just look and talk mean lol, I appreciate the stories about young Urushi just as Ayumu does. I also loved the bit with the cat, it had a smug face lol, and Ayumu once again slayed Urushi’s heart with his words of wholesome before they parted ways. The movie bit with Takeru and Sakurako was great too, it looks like they were watching the movie called “BEANS” based on that movie poster at the beginning of the episode, and man what a weird ending it had lol. But Sakurako was without a doubt doing those things on purpose, she’s like a silent version of Ayumu lol. And that final bit where Ayumu and Urushi were talking in the bed over video chat was a really nice way to end the episode. |

| Urushi and that dream! It might not have been Ayumu but at least she got a little “smooch” from Kin lol. Love that the guy immediately drops one of his usual super embarrassing lines lol. It’s a new year but the dude never changes! I like how Ayumu couldn’t resist capturing a video of Urushi’s cuteness lol. She’s way too cute sometimes! Man, that was the largest friggin okonomiyaki I’ve ever seen irl or in anime lol. The old fella is a good dude! He spilled all of Urushi’s embarrassing childhood moments to Ayumu. Little Urushi sure was adorable! But if pets are like their owners, Kin warming up to Ayumi so quickly sure is saying something lol. Nice to see our B couple! Takeru and Sakurako at the movies was fun. She was reeally into that movie wasn’t she? Haha. I thought the poor guy was gonna pass out from all that excitement! That late night video call was such an adorable way to end the episode. My guy Ayumu scores a critical hit and then promptly passes out while poor Urushi is left wide awake lol. |
| What the hell back to back bangers from this show? Ayy I got you!!! Damn both parts of this show is a treat to my eyes, from our main couple's visit to the library and them eating okonomiyaki, to our side couple's movie date and jeez our daring Sakurako copying the movie to get into Takeru, I will say that is a nice teasing strat. Lastly, that video call between Ayumu and Urushi, our boy literally speaking facts of them feeling like under in the same covers. As a man who is with loneliness, I can say it's an accurate statement. Damn this series really grows on you, bring it on! | Also with a fast edit because my brain can't be great all the time. That scene when Ayumu is subliminally teasing Urushi by using the cat as a tool to describe what he feels about Urushi her. There's just too much to love about this now, thank god it improved after the first episode. |

| Super cute episode. I love how, even though they're technically not together yet, it doesn't matter, cause of how adorable their relationship already is. But man, imagine if they get together officially, diabetes levels bout to increase tenfold. Sakurako is too dangerous to be left alive. Hang in there Takeru. Anticipating the kiss scene almost made me completely overlook Johnny turning into a tree, cause what the actual fuck lmao. Video call scene was damn adorable, damn it falling asleep trope. |

| The first dream of the year Urushi had a very...interesting dream xd On the way he met Ayumu, that he was going to buy a book about shogi and then they went to eat. Urushi's kitty appeared in front of them, and from some of Ayumu's comments about the cat, Urushi thought he was saying them to her. That day Ayumu found out some things about Urushi xd On the other hand, Takeru and Sakurako went to the movies. Takeru was nervous and Sakurako was imitating a little bit of the movie. But the scene that had to happen at the end was changed xd Back to Urushi. She called Ayamu, in the middle of the night. She asked her if she had her first dream of the year, and she still had. Instead she did. And Ayumu mentions some INTERESTING thing she was thinking too hahaha. And it seems like she won't be able to sleep yet xd. It was good.      |
| I think this has been the best episode so far, from Urushi's dream, the restaurant scene, the cat scene, and eventually the late night phone call in bed scene were all great, Urushi blushes are great! The other couple's development was nice too with Sakurako purposely imitating the intimate scenes. Btw wth was up with the tree immediately growing out of Johnny's corpse!? Damn. |

| I do like Urushi and Ayumu too, and their relationship is progressing in a steady pace compared to other couples in similar anime, but Ayumu is still a bit annoying due to the strange mix of his obnoxious intrusiveness and fear of actually confessing his feelings. The way he's casually overstepping the boundaries without taking Urushi's feeling into consideration sometimes gets a bit uncomfortable to watch, especially when his assertiveness is paired with being a huge pussy. I don't really want to complain though, this episode was the best so far, but the dynamic between Sakurako and Takeru is simply just so much better and more interesting that the main couple pales in comparison, regardless how cute Urushi is. It is literally impossible to not love the cinema scene. The accidental video call in the end of the episode was really good as well, probably my favorite Urushi x Ayumu moment so far, however So despite all my complaints, I think this anime is season top 3 (or at least top 5), I'm just not really a fan of Ayumu's character itself. Otherwise it's pretty fun. |
