| Tell me specifically what you don't like about this but you can't mention anything about the MC. Except MC tell me ONE thing that's bad in this compared to any other romcom/harem. You can't call a whole anime trash because of the MC. In my opinion this a masterpiece, most people here don't have enough intelligence to appreciate this masterpiece, they are confusing cringey with trash. This anime is cringe, yes but not trash. This is one of the most entertaining animes I've ever watched, however it is, it gets me laughing good and I can't ask for anything more from an anime, I'm here for entertainment IDC if the MC is pathetic or cringe, the fact that he is just makes it more entertaining to watch, I can laugh at his pathetic-ness. |

| Top cringe show. It's just entertaining to see how Kazuya gets deeper and deeper into all the lies/misunderstandings. In S1 each episode I was thinking like: this can't be, something has to go wrong... And so on. That's it. |

| We watch this "garbage" cuz we think it's entertaining and at least try to have fun in life. Shitting on other's taste just makes you an asshole, not cool. Man I'm sick of these elitists. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Stop pretending you're better human beings cuz some nolivers making videos about animated comicbooks on the interwebs said this cartoon is on par with litter. And if you're really craving for an answer (wich you trolls, I'm sure, don't even read), here's why I personally like it: It's a door comedy -in a sense-. Lie gets added upon another lie wich places Kazuya in a shittier situation every time. Even though these situations are cliché most of the time, the pure cringe and awkwardness some scenes can convey to the viewer/reader is weirdly good. I mean, you gotta give it to the writer that he's hella good in making the audience cringe, it's a compliment. RaG is for a handful specific audiences. You have - the masochists who love cringing (me!) - the perverts who're only here for the fanservice - slice of life romance enjoyers who only watch the romcoms of the season (me!) The only downside to RaG is the repetitiveness. Manga readers will probably agree on this. The amount of filler dates where Kazuya thinks and behaves the same everytime can make your eyes roll; but the lie-on-top-of-lie and the surprisingly wholesome moments are what carry this. Again, it's just a really entertaining manga for a specific audience. |

For me maybe because it was my first romance anime and it is one of the few manga series I am caught up with. I know it's trash but it's like a bad addiction that is hard for me to stop. Also maybe I thought it was good since after that I watched Eromanga sensei. |
